A few quick examples of how Winston, a trained working guide dog. Can keep me safe and clear of obstacles of all kinds. Trust me it’s way cooler than it actually looks. Video Description: Descriptive audio included during video. A black lab guide dog named Winston guides me across an intersection. Now across the intersection, Winston guides me down a sidewalk. The video freezes and a flashing arrow points at a weird pole type thing, in the middle of the sidewalk. Winston guides me safely around the object. We continue down the sidewalk and video freezes again. A flashing arrow points at a sharp corner of a very large concrete planter box. The video continues as we continue down the straight sidewalk. The video freezes once again, a flashing arrow points at a person walking a small dog. As the lady and the dog pass Winston takes notice, but keeps on track. Once again we set off down the sidewalk. Winston stops at a down curb before the intersection. I check to make sure it is safe to cross. Winston guides me through the intersection and we make our way down another city block.
