Fashionably late... but I managed to squeeze this in in-between commissions to let Brianne participate in the #OCFlowerFestival2021 over on Twitter.  

Brianne decided against a dress and just wanted a suit with a cape - inspired by poppies. Thank you @/eepoxdraws [Twitter] for hosting this event!

Brianne wanted to go to Faebelina's #OCGardenParty2021 (over on Twitter) and wear something ridiculous. 

The dress idea isn't mine. I had a picture in my reference folder but the only source I found was pinterest. It was fitting for the occasion and Bri asked to wear it now that she is "Countess".

#16 - "in dreams" - I go with Brianne with this one

Sometimes she wondered what her life would have been like if she hadn't made that one decision several years ago to join the guards.

Eclipse, her black wolf, nudged her hand and she looked at him with a fond smile. "You are right," she said after a moment. "It all looks better in dreams. It wouldn't have been all sunshine and rainbows and I probably would have hated it."

On rare occasions I can convince Brianne to wear a dress... she doesn't comply often.

 She just prefers her armor and to be prepared to fight whatever threatens her quiet afternoon. 

 Here she's wearing a winterly dress for the holiday season.

#24 - "tender" - I think I go with Brianne for this one as well.

Brianne liked looking at the sunrise from the watchtower, away from prying eyes of Dalaran. The Trueshot Lodge offered a welcome respite from all the fighting and the politics of war. A tender breeze caught wisps of her hair and she brushed them out of her forehead with a calm wave of her hand.

"Commander, a messenger arrived who would like to speak to you," Halduron's clear voice called from below and with a sigh Brianne turned around. "On my way," she replied. "And stop calling me Commander, I hate that title." "Alright, Commander," Halduron called up again and she could hear the laughter in his voice as she rolled her eyes and climbed down to face the challenges the new day would bring.

Watching TV and playing around with Procreate is a nice Sunday evening...

I really need to use Procreate more often or I‘ll never learn how to draw in that program... I used my bloodelf Brianne for a little test sketch thing...

Finally exalted with the “Court of Harvesters” and finally Bri could have her own horse-mount :D  I always wanted Bri to have a proper horse like the Alliance characters... and not only the headless horseman’s horse... this one is fierce and awesome and Bri is now the happy owner of a Revendreth steed ;)

The short moment I managed to stay logged in I could use to adjust Bri :3 She can now have a blind left eye (so it aligns with her story now even when she’s not wearing her eye patch). And she has somewhat shorter ears.

And well... thinking about it my Warcraft blood elf hunter Brianne is the one character who wants to forget parts of her past... and while this played through my mind all day it turned into a little snippet of writing:

Returning to Silvermoon was always difficult. The place just held way too many memories and most of them were better left untouched. But sometimes there was just no way around it and Lor’themar insisted on meeting in the capital city of the Sin’dorei. And there were only so many times Brianne could find excuses for not coming. Lor’themar’s patience already ran short with her in recent weeks. So when he summoned her for a meeting she couldn’t come up with another explanation and reluctantly stepped through the portal that led her right to Silvermoon City.

„The meeting is postponed and will be held after lunch,“ Halduron said as he approached her.

Brianne blinked, adjusting to the new surroundings and rolled her eyes with a sigh. „Teleporting back and forth just makes me even more nauseous,“ she muttered, „so I guess I have to wait here.“She gestured to an empty chair next to a bookshelf. She now regretted not bringing Eclipse but he had deserved a break too and was in Orgrimmar. 

„Or you could come with me… there is someone who would surely like to see you again.“

Brianne frowned and looked up to Halduron. „What are you talking about? There is nobody living in Silvermoon City who would still remember me…“

„Just follow me,“ the elf insisted and since she had nothing better to do Brianne followed him.

Nothing much had changed in the city. The streets still looked the same and there were still the magic brooms sweeping through the streets. Though it lacked any of the lively spirits of her youth. The streets were deserted. „Where are we going?“ Brianne asked after a while of following her old friend in silence.

„Can’t you tell by now?“ he replied with a smile and Brianne followed his gaze.

They rounded a corner and Brianne stopped and stared at the fenced off area. There stood several large birds but one in particular caught her eye - a formidable white hawkstrider. “It can’t be...” Brianne carefully stepped forward and tears stung in her eyes. She rapidly blinked, averting her eyes. The large bird looked up and tilted its head.

„Hey, buddy,“ Brianna said and her voice sounded treacherously hoarse as she approached the fence. The bird tilted its head in the other direction and made a low chirping sound before approaching Brianne carefully. She reached out and the bird nudged her hand with its large beak. 

The hawkstrider had belonged to Kael’thas. It had been years since she had last seen the majestic bird. Instantly memories flooded back, memories she had spent years of suppressing. 

It had been better times, carefree and bright… days before the burdens of leading the elves had weighed down on Kael’thas and days when Brianne had been his lover. Brianne remembered his laughter when they raced each other with their hawkstriders, remembered his triumphant smile when he cheated his way to victory and made it up to her with a kiss. She still hadn’t seen anyone who had had a brighter smile than Kael’thas used to have.

But she also remembered how he had looked at her with mad anger and unbridled rage the day she had helped to stop him. There had been nothing but hatred in his eyes when he had last looked at her. 

Brianne told herself that it had to be done… though she would rather forget it. But while many things blurred in her memory, she never managed to forget Kael’thas…

The hawkstrider made a sad sound, as if it had been able to read her mind. It lowered its head and Brianne leaned forward, resting her forehead against that of the large bird. „I miss him, too, buddy,“ she muttered and a tear ran down her cheek.

3. Who would pine away in silence their entire lives without confessing their love.

Uh... Brianne for sure... she is in no fixed relationship. There might be people in her life she deeply cares for. But considering her past relationships and how things went down... she would pine away in silence.  My other OCs (Alani, Florelle, Celume...) they would admit their feelings at one point or another.  Brianne would suffer and pine away XD

10. Who would love the other no matter how evil the other became.

Ugh... that’s definitely NOT Brianne... I mean... she helped to bring down Kael’thas when he got his megalomaniac ideas...  Florelle and Alani might be ruthless to some extend - the first being a rogue/assassin, the latter being some sort of mobster herself... but “no matter how evil”... nope. They have their limits. At some point they would consider either ending the relationship or stopping their lover altogether. 

Celume though... Celume and Galaren (who belongs to @mimikoflamemaker ) are an OTP... if Galaren now decided to go all evil (which I hope he won’t...) ... well, Celume would love him no matter what.

I’m doing mostly transmog farming in WoW lately... and then I decided to give my main three ladies new outfits... 

Tamidara - Gronnstalker’s Battlegear (minus the helmet) - she also got rid of her curly hair and decided for a new hairstyle.

Brianne - Battlegear of the Saurok Stalker (also minus the helmet but with her eye-patch again) ... the belt never dropped but today I got it in the AH (still overprized but at leas the set is complete now).

Florelle - she’s wearing a mix of 7th legion parts because I don’t have a complete armor set yet... for someone who is only mildly attached to the Alliance she does look rather faithful... but she’s undercover...

🌅 - What is your OCs favourite time of day? Are they a morning person or a night owl? Was already answered here.  

🍺 - What kind of drunk are they? (e.g. talkative, sleepy, flirty etc.) The overconfident one. Bri doesn’t drink often and she mostly only does when memories start to overwhelm her or she suffers from survivor’s guilt again. And when there is an Orc sitting next to her at the bar she is most likely to start a brawl because “she can outsmart an orc anyday” ... though no... not when she’s drunk. There are a few taverns across Azeroth who don’t server her anymore. 

Lortheron:

🌅 - What is your OCs favourite time of day? Are they a morning person or a night owl? He is the chipper and cheerful morning person who wakes up and is in a good mood. NOT.  Seriously. No.  Lortheron HATES mornings - he’s worse than his sister (Brianne) when it comes to being in a bad mood in the mornings. Though... then he is mostly in a bad mood, no matter what time of day. He prefers evenings though. It means the dreadful days are turning to an end. 

🍺 - What kind of drunk are they? (e.g. talkative, sleepy, flirty etc.) He gets really quiet and sulky when drunk. The more he drinks, the quieter he gets - and that means something because Lor is not really a chatty person to begin with.  He’s difficult, okay? He has many traumas to deal with and even more secrets he will take to his grave. 

Florelle:

🌅 - What is your OCs favourite time of day? Are they a morning person or a night owl? Nights. Though that comes with the job of being a rogue/assassin and feared shadowblade. As one of the leading members of the uncrowned she knows how to get jobs done during daylight, too. But during the day it’s all ... more obvious. At night you can’t see how messy things sometimes get and she just prefers the really dark shadows to hide away from what she sometimes has to do. 

🍺 - What kind of drunk are they? (e.g. talkative, sleepy, flirty etc.) It’s not easy to get her drunk. She has a high tolerance for alcohol. And it’s good that she’s the sleepy drunk because being talkative or flirty would bear the risk of revealing too much. Being sleepy is also dangerous because then she gets vulnerable. She knows her limits. There were only two occasions when she really got herself drunk.

I wanted to be a responsible adult and go to bed an hour ago... but then I was like „Why not try something in Procreate?“ and here I am with my first sketch which I did with that software...

An ask for Florelle and Bri: Are there any animals, they are absolutely afraid of?

Ohhh! Thank you for the ask. ♥

Brianne hates spiders. Like really. Anything with more than 6 legs makes her uncomfortable. But spiders... Nope. Who said things can have eight legs??? And then they tend to have so many eyes and the gross hairs... and just... nope. She learned to control her fear to not freeze around spiders... but it’s best to stay clear of her when she had to fight some... Brianne sometimes has to throw up after dealing with them. Never a nice sight and something she is not proud of... 

Florelle has a huge disliking for fish and snakes. She’s not afraid in a sense of backing out of the place ... but she would really prefer to avoid fish and snakes. They are just so slippery and gross. Florelle doesn’t like to eat fish either.
