From Lower Danube region An Imitation Tetradrachm of Thasos. Late 2nd-1st century BC. Weight 16.60 g, Stylized head of youthful Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. Imitative legend Stylized Herakles standing facing, head to left, resting his right hand on grounded club and carrying lion skin over his left arm; in inner left field, Λ above +; in right field, small figure standing facing above T.
And above were imitation of Thrace, Dionysos Tetradrachm, 150-120 BC, Thasos, With clear Head of Dionysus and clear Naked Hercules, with scripts : HRAKLEOUS - SΩTHROS -ΘASIΩN - ΔΙ (monogram). To be more clear for comparison Imitation coins, like Thasos, appeared during the Greek period due to economic and political factors. These coins were often produced by neighboring regions or tribes to facilitate trade with Greek cities, taking advantage of the trusted weight and design of well-known coinage. Additionally, they were sometimes used to bypass economic restrictions, maintain local autonomy, or support military and mercantile activities. Thasian imitations, for example, were widely minted in regions like Thrace and the Danube area to integrate into Greek trade networks.
Note: imitation doesn’t mean fake its mean to use others coins styles in issuing local coins by tribes or to be circulated in a certain area .

Chalice à soleil
French, Paris 1532–33
This chalice, made in the early French Renaissance, is decorated with motifs that derived from the late medieval period: wavy sun rays on the bowl and dome of the foot, which evoke the meditation on the Sacred Monogram as preached by Saint Bernardin of Siena (d. 1444). These lively features are joined by others taken from the more static repertoire of classical ornament derived from Roman architecture: a stem formed as a fluted column, the flutes alternately channeled; beading at the junction of stem and foot; acanthus on the upper and lower poles of the knop; and a wreath encircling the step of the foot. Fleurs-de-lis, emblems of the French crown, are found here as also on other French liturgical objects of the sixteenth century and may refer to the control over the church in France won by Francis I from Pope Leo X by the Concordat of Bologna in 1515.

Adam and Eve with disguised portraits of Ernest of Brunswick-Lüneburg (1497-1546) and his wife Sophia of Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1508-1541) by Lucas Cranach the Elder, ca. 1528-1530, KMSKA - Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (panel, 38.5 x 25 cm, inv. 42).
Ernest, frequently called Ernest the Confessor, was duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg and a champion of the Protestant cause during the early years of the Protestant Reformation. On June 2, 1528 in Schwerin he married Sophia of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, daughter of Henry V (1479-1552), Duke of Mecklenburg. Sophia was depicted with an embroidered net cap with monogram H of her father and a bridal wreath in 1526 portrait by Cranach the Elder in private collection.
The Duke's face was depicted in a similar manner in other portraits by Cranach the Elder - drawing in the Museum of Fine Arts of Reims (paper, 29 x 19.7 cm, inv. 795.1.273), portrait from Schloss Marienburg (oil on panel, 21.6 x 17.5 cm, Christie's London, Auction 17196, July 5, 2019, lot 104, inscribed: VON GOTTES GNADEN ERNST HERT / ZOGZV BRVNSWEICH VND LVNEBVRG …) and portrait at the Lutherhaus in Wittenberg (panel, 49.4 x 35.2 cm, inv. Why Custom Metal Signs Are the New Must-Have for Homes, Businesses, and Gifting
Why Custom Metal Signs Are the New Must-Have for Homes, Businesses, and Gifting
In a time when personalization is everything, custom metal signs are rising in popularity as both a stylish and functional decor choice. Whether it’s a family nameplate for your home entrance, a business sign for your office, or even a Christmas-themed decoration, metal signage is proving to be a timeless, durable, and elegant option for people who want to make a statement.
Unlike mass-produced plastic or wooden items, laser-cut steel signs offer a unique blend of industrial charm and handcrafted quality. They're sleek, weather-resistant, and can be made to reflect exactly what you want—be it your name, brand, message, or a special occasion.
🏡 For the Home: Beauty Meets Identity
Your home should reflect your personality. One of the most tasteful ways to do that is by installing a custom metal nameplate. Placed at your main gate, door, or entryway, a personalized name sign becomes the first impression your guests receive—and it says more than words.
With a variety of fonts, finishes, and sizes available, you can match the tone of your decor—be it minimalist, rustic, modern, or traditional. Steel signs also last far longer than wooden or acrylic ones, especially in outdoor environments where they are exposed to the elements.
At RoyalSteelMonograms.com, families can design their custom nameplates, choosing not just the wording but also decorative elements like borders, monograms, or spiritual symbols like Om or Swastik.
🏢 For Businesses: Brand with Confidence
Whether you're a startup or an established business, first impressions matter. A custom metal sign with your brand name or logo gives your workplace a touch of professionalism and sophistication.
We’ve seen countless small businesses—cafés, fitness studios, law firms, and designers—upgrade their branding with a laser-cut steel logo installed in their lobby or front entrance. The result? Clients instantly take notice.
These signs can also be used inside your workspace as motivational quotes, directional signage, or even decorative pieces that align with your brand’s aesthetic.
At RoyalSteelMonograms.com, businesses can upload their logo or text and get it transformed into precision-cut metal signage, powder-coated for longevity.
🎄 Seasonal & Festive Decor: Holiday Magic That Lasts
One of the most fun and creative uses for custom steel art is during festivals like Christmas. Instead of using disposable plastic decor, imagine putting up a custom metal Christmas wreath, snowflake, or “Merry Christmas” sign that you can reuse year after year.
Not only does this add a more premium and classy touch to your holiday setup, but it's also eco-friendly.
At RoyalSteelMonograms.com, festive designs are updated regularly, and users can even request personalized holiday signs that include family names or custom messages.
🎁 Gifting: Thoughtful, Durable, and Personalized
Gifting can be tough—especially when you want something meaningful. But with custom metal signs, you can gift a piece of someone’s identity.
A family name sign for a newlywed couple
A custom message sign for a best friend’s birthday
A motivational quote for someone moving into a new home
A monogram wall hanging for a parent or sibling
The possibilities are endless, and the recipient will always remember it came from you. Steel signs are also easy to pack and ship, making them ideal for long-distance gifting.
⚙️ The Process: Easy and Accessible
Ordering a custom steel sign has never been easier. On RoyalSteelMonograms.com, the entire process is online and user-friendly:
Choose your category (nameplate, wall decor, business sign, festive)
Customize your design (text, font, size, layout)
Preview and approve your design
Place your order
Receive your item at your doorstep, ready to install
All products are made with care using high-grade materials, laser technology, and professional finishing to ensure that every piece is a true work of art.

✨ Final Thoughts
Steel is strong, just like the names, memories, and messages we want to preserve. Whether you're looking to upgrade your home's entrance, brand your business better, decorate for the holidays, or gift something unforgettable—custom laser-cut metal signs offer a perfect blend of strength, elegance, and expression.

There’s nothing quite as heartwarming as an entire family dressed in coordinated Christmas pyjamas. This tradition has taken Australia by storm, with families of all sizes donning matching sets for Christmas mornings, holiday photos, and even Zoom Christmas calls with extended relatives.
Popular Colors and Patterns
Traditional Christmas colors—red, green, and white—remain timeless favorites. Add to this the charm of plaid prints, reindeer motifs, Santa hats, and snowflakes, and you’ve got the perfect holiday ensemble. Many matching sets also feature festive slogans such as "Merry & Bright" or "Santa’s Squad."

Aussie slang and cheeky slogans also feature widely, such as “Merry Straya” or “Have a Beaut Chrissy!”
Unique Designs for the Aussie Summer
These pyjamas feature tropical prints paired with festive icons like surfboards, barbecues, and flip-flops (or “thongs”). They reflect the warm-weather vibe that truly defines Christmas Down Under.

Popular Styles
Short-sleeved tops paired with shorts are a favorite combination for battling the Aussie summer heat. Meanwhile, those who prefer more coverage often go for loose-fitting full-sleeve designs in breathable fabrics.

Tips:
Throw Blankets and Cushions: Drape plush throws over your couch and add heart-shaped or velvet cushions.
