the story is now a smidgen over 100k words and about 4-5 chapters from being done... this is the first original story I've written since I was 12 and by far the longest, and I won't lie.... I don't know how to process that I wrote a draft of a story. I stuck to it! Even if it ends up being garbage and I have to entirely rework it, I still wrote the damn thing... what the fuck!!! It's a story and I wrote it!!! What!

People used to put disclaimers above every fic to and every chapter of a fic and somehow, all of a sudden, people thought it was a good time to bind them into novels and sell them on Etsy?? This is fanfiction? I thought we knew by now that it’s not illegal if we don’t try to profit off of it?
