Our friend has found a super sweet stray cat and the local animal control is closed with a distemper outbreak so she has nowhere to take her. Pending scanning her for a microchip, but if she doesn't have an owner I might have to take her???? This seems like a pretty bad time for us to impulsively adopt an animal but also the cat distribution system is in full force???? Partner is literally in an Important Work Meeting™ this afternoon so I can't call and talk to him about it but I feel like I have to take this cat at least to foster??? Everyone else in the friend group already has cats or dogs so we would objectively be the best people to hold onto her????? AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Ugh, Pietro/Ororo in the Age of Apocalypse was so random, but it was also bizarrely good and wholesome and mutually supportive and loving and like they complimented each other all the time even when everything was going to shit around them? Like they were the same age and basically grew up together since they were both in that universe’s original X-Men lineup. They were basically the AOA version of Scott and Jean. And it was just?? Idk, something about them, like its literally one of the only het pairings I’m into for either of them, as I usually ship them in same gender pairings. 

Although also I’d hate them together in the 616 ‘verse because unfortunately 616 Pietro is a total shit-canoe too often to deserve 616 Ororo. But at least AOA Pietro/Ororo was waaaaaaay better than the relationships Marvel kept trying to put the main canon Ororo in. Like idk, that whole several year period in the early 90s where they kept trying to hint around at a Cable/Ororo pairing even though a) EWW CABLE IS LIKE 30 YEARS OLDER THAN HER WTF ARE YOU EVEN DOING and b) EWW CABLE IS HER BEST FRIEND’S TIME-TRAVELING KID WTF ARE YOU EVEN DOOOOOOOOOOING.

So yeah, because of this f*cking sh*tty covid the Maltese governement decided to ONLY accept fully vacccinated tourists (AND to announce that last friday OF COURSE THANK YOU...). What does it means ? that we got yeeted like trash and that we had to CANCEL EVERYTHING 2 weeks before leaving.

So mad.

So sad. I was really at the beginning of another depression session (you know me if you know how important holidays and travels are to me.....it’s been 1 years and 6 months without any travels and YEAH you can call me “privileged white girl” but hey, anyone have their own way to cope for this life (that I didn’t ask for), some would do drugs so yeah....do whatever you want and leave me and my travels.). I was really depressed all the weekend thinking about my only holidays of the year. PS: nothing was refund (airbnb and flight) Hopefully we still have some energy to fight....and we try to find another destination.....anywhere is fine tbh....even france (which is 20min away) would be fine (but they seem to be strict with their “ONLY vaccinated people can access restaurant” wtf.....seriously ???). So we’ve spend the whole evening thinking about Italy and.....Croatia. We’ve already checked flights and hotels for Drubovnik...but...I have a huge trauma of what happened and don’t want it to happen again.

What should I DOOOOOOOOOO ? what if croatian governement just say “FUCK YOU ALL, welcome vaccinated ONLY”
