If you have an Ontario health card, it’s easy af to sign up as an organ donor online. Basically what that means is that after you die, you’ve filled out a quick easy consent form (linked) saying your organs can be used for someone else.

I’ve done it myself, and would recommend anyone do it who is able and who it aligns with the personal beliefs of. (Please don’t pressure somebody who has religious beliefs against this.) They only ask you a couple questions and then it’s on file.

Please spread the word! Most people who can and want to donate just don’t realize they can sign up so easily.

I was putting off registering as an organ donor for so long because I thought it would be a long and annoying task but apparantly it takes like 2 seconds and you only need to put in your health card number and date of birth
