Some designs that have come around from playing with my vectors in Adobe like little scraps of paper.

I’m attempting a design of a hockey jersey logo for a miss fortune, league inspired type thing for @tahthetrickster

I’ll probably end up doing a Thresh one for myself too. These designs aren’t final or anything, just like doodles. I don’t think the guns read as well as I want and the one design looks too much like LoRs version of a similar thing.

I’m trying to limit my color selection this time, and trying to do that, especially when I’m so used to pulling from my reference constantly, feels really weird. Color theory is not a thing that comes overnight though, so I’m trying to be patient with myself.

It’s just good to be semi back into a swing of things. Trying to be patient with myself and take it slow when I need to so I don’t burn out again.

I’m proud of myself honestly. I don’t know the last time I could say a finished piece was under 10 colors. I really tried to keep it to my original 3 actually (the eyes and nose have a few more colors of course).

I know there’s more I could do, and I feel that itch to keep correcting it, but I’m also trying to just love the art I make without fussing with it so much that I don’t.

Y’all. I’m so proud of this commission I did for @noxytango of her late doggo Marz. First time doing floral and framing stuff. I don’t know calligraphy, but I tried.  All I care about is how happy they were with it. I want this doggo to smile at them always. <3
