Eris straight up yelling and telling Xivu to shut up was not what I expected, but I'm into it. Another one that I liked:

I feel like Eris is goading her into this because, yes, the act of fighting itself empowers Xivu, but if the act of fighting is in vengeance, it will empower Eris.

Xivu hasn't changed at all from that scared child that first ventured into the deep and met that leviathan. she's been war for so long she doesn't know anything other than violence. she'll kill oryx before she lets him leave her again. she'll enact violence on the world until she doesn't have to be afraid of it anymore.

This was my contribution to the @swordlogiczine ! I really wanted to depict a scene with my take on Xivu Arath’s design, but aimed for the piece to sit further in a moodier realm to explore her grief and resolve. Here, Xivu stands in contemplation over the waters of Fundament, which I envision to resemble the rocky formations that build up tide pools. I had such a blast working on this project, and am so amazed with everyone’s wonderful work. Please go check out the full Zine! 🌟
