Pulse Hunter / Sky's Embrace Guide

to make the most out of this limited-wish banner here's a quick review of what to expect from pulse hunter/sky's embrace with some suggestions at the end. regardless if you're a new player pulling for the first time or a veteran player who has already experienced it during 2.0's launch i hope this helps prepares you. good luck with your pulls! may you get the memories you want 🫶

🍎 What is Pulse Hunter / Sky's Embrace / Xspace Echo?

Pulse Hunter is a limited-wish banner that was first introduced during Sylus's debut in Love and Deepspace version 2.0 - Opposing Visions (07/14/2024). This was the first time they introduced a 5-star selector banner like this, which is why you'll often see older players refer to this banner type as Pulse Hunter. It ran concurrently with Sylus's limited-time banner [No Defense Zone]. This special banner essentially guarantees that you will only pull one of the five selected memories within 70 pulls or less, depending on your luck. To differentiate between banner versions, they simply renamed this limited-wish banner as Sky's Embrace for or Caleb's debut in Love and Deepspace 3.0 - Cosmic Encounter (01/22/2025). Aside from the name change the structure of the banner is exactly the same as Pulse Hunter. This banner will also run concurrently with Caleb's limited-time banner []. Xspace Echo is the standard banner that's available permanently. It is NOT to be confused with the above limited-wish banners. ‼️ When pulling make sure you're on the correct banner ‼️ I cannot stress this enough. Do not mistakenly use your tickets on the wrong one.

🍎 What memories are available? How many can I choose?

In this special banner players are allowed to select up to five 5-Star Memories (5) of their choosing from the Xspace Echo wish pool - no more, no less. All of the newly added Caleb's 5-star memories (2 solars, 3 lunar) will also become available. Companions you can obtain are the following: ⭐ Xavier's Lightseeker (LS) ❄️ Zayne's Foreseer (FS) 🐟 Rafayel's Abysswalker (AB) 🐦‍⬛ Sylus's Relentless Conquerer (RC) 🍎 Caleb's Farspace Colonel (FC) Take note limited-time 5-star memories are excluded from the selector, as they do not get included into the wish pool after their respective banner ends.

🍎 Can you change your selected memories?

Once you confirm your selected 5 memories you CANNOT change them later on. It is important that you choose wisely.

🍎 What currency does it use?

There are two ways to pull on this banner-- Empyrean Wishes, obtainable through item shop / wish shop / chocolate shop / heartsand shop / completing agenda: weekly tasks. Diamonds.

🍎 How many times can we pull on this banner?

The cap for this banner is 350 pulls. After that you won't be able to pull anymore. With a maximum of 350 pulls you can obtain a minimum of five 5-star memories, potentially more if you're lucky to hit early or pull multiple 5-stars in one 10x.

🍎 What are the probability rates?

There are no rate ups for this limited-wish banner. The rates are the same, as seen in the image above from the standard banner, Xspace Echo. As mentioned earlier this special banner guarantees that you will only pull one of the five selected memories of your choosing within 70 pulls or less.

🍎 Does pity carry over?

Pulse Hunter/Sky's Embrace has a separate pity system. For veteran players, if you've pulled previously during Version 2.0 then your pity from [Pulse Hunter] will carry over into [Sky's Embrace]. You should be able to view your pull history once the banner is live. Your pity from the limited-time wish banner and Xspace Echo are different banners, therefore will not carry over into Pulse Hunter/Sky's Embrace.

🍎Banner pull rewards?

Incentive rewards for pulling on [Sky's Embrace] are as follows: 25 - Wish Crate: SR x1 75 - Wish Crate: SR x1 100 - Sun Crate: Random x1 (from your selected 5) 200 - Sunlight Crate x1 (can choose from your selected 5) You can select the memories from the SR crates, however, those crates only contain 4-star solar memories obtainable through Xspace Echo. All of the selectable crates can only be claimed ONCE so make sure you pick the correct memory of your choosing when opening them.

If you've made it this far thank you for taking the time to read all of this! As a veteran player who has pulled before here are my advice and tips!

This is the BEST way to get any of standard banner Companions that you haven't unlocked yet! I highly recommend selecting solar memories over lunars, as they are harder to come by when pulling. Lunar memories will eventually be available on a rotation via the Wishing Well exchange shop for 180 stardust (blue crystals).

You can exchange resources in game to obtain Empyrean Wishes to help save your diamonds for the limited-time wish banner instead. If you have to spend diamonds for pulls, the exchange rate is 150 Diamonds = 1 Empyrean Wish. HEARTSAND SHOP (weekly) * 5 Empyrean Wishes = 150 Memory Heartsand: SR (purple sands) * 10 Empyrean Wishes = 60 Memory Heartsand: SR (yellow sands) CHOCOLATE SHOP (weekly) * 1 Empyrean Wish = 600 Chocolates WISHING WELL* 10 Empyrean Wishes = 90 Stardust (blue crystals) [monthly discounted at 9/per] * 1 Empyrean Wish = 12 Stardust (blue crystal) [unlimited]

MAKE SURE YOU'RE PULLING ON THE RIGHT BANNER! I said this before, but make sure you're on [Sky's Embrace] and not Xspace Echo. It didn't happen to me, however, I have seen horror stories of players accidentally wasting their Empyrean Wishes/Diamonds on the wrong banner.

I know we're all excited to pull for Caleb, but I would highly recommend unlocking Caleb's companion / [With Him] via Main Story before pulling. That way you can start earning affinity points when doing your pulls for his memories. If you are also going to be pull for his limited-time banner, I would suggest pulling on that banner first before making your selection in Sky's Embrace. On the off chance you get that missing solar pair you can save that slot for another memory. Also note that we are going to get one of his lunar 5-star memories for FREE via event. So make sure you choose wisely when making your selection.

What to spend your selectable 5-star memory crates on? If you haven't unlocked a companion yet I would suggest doing that over a memory duo rank up, just because it will help you in the long run should you need it to clear a trial or stage. But don't let me tell you what to do. If you want that duo rank 2 for the alternate outfit color or R3 sole for getting a complete duo rank 3 pair then go for it~

What Sylus's and now also Caleb's lovelies want:

to get equal standard content that the OG3 got when they were released:

• two bond stories (currently they both have only one)

• three anecdotes (again, both currently only have one)

• three 4star standard companions (jup, again, both released with only one)

• same number of 3star and 4star standard memories (for both 3stars and 4stars both Lis got only six cards vs the eighteen for OG3, and no Heartfelt Solar pair.

The implications of the lower number of 3star and 4star standard memories.

I.o.w. why is it so important that the number of memories and companions get addressed:

• Disadvantage in farming. Sylus and Caleb do not have the same flexibility when it comes to stellactrum matching, therefore all battle-related rewards are harder if not impossible to obtain. (A new player that will start after Caleb's Painful signal event ends will not have enough cards to fully fill the Hunter contest based on the Galaxy explorer alone [15 cards vs 18 slots] or even Xspace Echo [17 cards vs 18 slots]. In fact, it wouldn't be possible to fill up the 18 slots at all if it wasn't for the Festive Blessing Intertwined Gold being added to the Galaxy Explorer, makir "he total number of Caleb cards a very meag V Sylus had the same situation at his release.)

• Lower total Affinity. Based on his memories collection only, so not counting the events that took place before his release, Sylus girlies can in total get only about half the affinity that OG3 girlies can get.

• More expensive to main. Sylus, before Caleb, had a pull rate of ~11%1~13% vs the ~29% of the OG3 in the Silver|Radiant Galaxy explorers. Sylus and Caleb now have respectively 11%⅓12% and 7% 8% vs 27%\26% for OG3 in the Silver Radiant Galaxy explorer. Sylus before Caleb: 17/ (17+44×3)=11% vs 29% for OG3 in Silver Galaxy and 13/(13+28×3)=13% vs 29% for OG3 in Radiant Galaxy. After Caleb: Sylus has 17/ (17+44×3+12)=11% and Caleb has 12/161=7% VS 27% for OG3 in Silver Galaxy and 13/ (13+28×3+9=12% vs Caleb 9/106=8% and 26% for OG3 in Radiant Galaxy. Yes, each card individually has the same chance to be pulled, but getting any Sylus or Caleb card over the OG3 for building teams and/or infinity takes a lot more pulls.

How do join?

• Do not spend any money on the game. Simple as that. But not spending as much as you would normally do would already have an impact, no lovelies will judge you for just enjoying the game.

• Spread awareness. The boycott is not allowed to be mentioned in posts on the official subreddit, so it's hard to have a fair and open discussion about these matters, but e.g. comments are okay, as is spreading this information on other platforms, or encouraging lovelies to join the unofficial subreddit.

For the upcoming banner (Valentine banner Tomorrow's catch-22), do not spend money in the first three days of the banner.

Permanent Wish Pool Update & Selectable 5-Star Memory Wish Event Coming Soon!

After the update on Jan. 22, Caleb's Memories will enter Xspace Echo. His Memories can be obtained by making wishes or opening Wish Crate: SR and Wish Crate: SSR. Besides, new Wish Gifts are added.

Limited-Time Wish Event with Selectable 5-Star Memory

Use Empyrean Wish in this special wish event. The obtainable Memories and probabilities remain the same as those in Xspace Echo, but a new Selectable Wish System has been added. We hope this can help hunters quickly get the Memories you want!

💫Event Period: After Update on Jan. 22 - 4:59 AM on Feb. 08 (Server Time)

💫Selectable 5-Star Memories Wish

After the event starts, you can select 5 Memories from all the 5-Star Memories in Xspace Echo (including the 5 newly added Caleb's Memories). The 5-Star Memory you obtain from this event will be one of the Memories you selected.

Note:

Selected Memories can't be changed after the selection is confirmed.

The cap for this event is 350 pulls, and the 350th Wish marks the event's completion, after which you can't make another wish.

The pity count accumulated in the Version 2.0 special wish event [Pulse Hunter] will be applied to this special wish event.

The pity count from Xspace Echo and the last Limited Wish Pool will not be applied to this special Wish event.

💫Crystal Sky Blessing: Wish Gifts

For wishes made in this event:

At the 25th and 75th wish, you can claim Wish Crate: SR×1 respectively.

At the 100th wish, you can claim Sunlight Crate: Random×1, which contains a random 5-Star Memory from the five Memories you selected.

At the 200th wish, you can claim Sunlight Crate×1, from which you can choose one of the five Memories you selected.

I updated my Stellactrum colors sheet and made some predictions about the next colors for each LI!

Predictions under the cut, same as in my Reddit post:

Disclaimer: These predictions aren't based on any leaks for the game. These are only based on the event history and how the colors have been assigned to the guys previously.

Stellactrum Colors by Each LI shows each color amounts for the guys.

Each LI colors priority amounts arranges the colors by their importance to each LI.

Non-Limited cards for each LI shows the amount of cards that are available in the game at the moment, such as Xspace Echo wish pool and Galaxy Explorer memories.

Limited vs. Non-limited card amounts shows how many limited event cards there are and compares them to how many cards we have as non-limited cards.

Predictions:

Promise season - The current Promise cards are 6th colors, so we can assume the next Promise cards are 6th color to Zayne (Green), Rafayel (Blue) and Sylus (Red) as well.

Sylus is around 6 months "behind" on the color rotation for with the OG3, which makes sense since he was released 6 months later than them.

Xavier's next 5* card will likely be blue (5th color) since Rafayel's and Zayne's latest cards were 5th colors.

Caleb's next 5* card color is likely red, as he still hasn't got any other color as a limited card. He's only missing 1 purple limited color from his rotation. It will be a while before he will get any other color than red or purple, with 1 green in somewhere. It could be that he will get Red (1st) -> Green (3rd) -> Purple (2nd) -> Red (1st) until he gets to Blue (4th). This seems to be the order that Sylus and Rafayel have followed.

Rafayel and Zayne are unknown since they are leading the 5* rotation at the moment. It could be that they would get their 2nd 6th color next (Green for Zayne, Blue for Raf)

Sylus prediction: I'm adding a complete chapter to Sylus's prediction because it's more complicated to explain with how the OG3 had a bit of interesting phasing to their colors. OG3 got their first 4th colors during Misty Invasion. Since Rafayel had a solo banner before Wander in Woder, he had 2 x 4th colors (red) before Xavier & Zayne. They got their second 4th colors in WiW, and Rafayel got his first 6th color (blue). After that they both got their own solo banners where both got their 5th colors ( Xavier -> blue, Zayne -> purple). So at this point Xavier and Zayne had their first 5th colors and Rafayel didn't have his, but Rafayel had his 6th and the other 2 didn't have theirs. In between here was Cat Caretaker, where OG3 got their 1st colors, and this was fixed to be even in Nightly Rendezvous with Rafayel getting his 5th color (green) and Xavier & Zayne got their 6th colors (Purple&Green). Xavier's solo in December fixed the birthday card not being a 3rd color and Zayne was missing his freebie 3rd color.

Sylus is now at the point on his birthday that he has 2 of his 4th colors, so he will either have yellow (5th) or red (6th), depending on which of the rotation he will follow. Considering that Caleb is likely to get red, it could be that Sylus will get yellow next and if he will follow the order, after that would be a pink and then the color that is missing from him from the 5* cards.

Other notes:

OG3 + Sylus are at equal amounts of 2nd and 3rd colors, so it's likely we won't see those colors anytime soon from the limited cards

It's kind of clear that they are "gatekeeping" the 1st, 2nd and 3rd colors, which makes sense. Reruns are much more valuable this way since players who miss out on those colors close to the LI release, they need those reruns

3rd color is kind of "freebie" color too. since there are only 1 of 3rd 5* limited colors for Xavier, Zayne,. Raf and Sylus. There are currently 2 non-limited 3rd colors for each of them as well.. 3rd color is still in a awkward position that it's not really required that much as the 2nd or 1st colors are though

^ This might change for the next big update or during later this year if they are going to release 3rd myths. I'm thinking about making a post about breaking down what myths we could get, but for now 3rd color is the likely answer since 1st and 2nd colors have myths already and might dissuade people from getting the new myth. It could also be the 4th color as well, which would be devious since there are no 4th 5* colors as freebies, so it's very tempting.

Sylus is almost catched up with non-limited 5* cards to OG3, he's still missing 2nd color for the story-related card like the OG3 got from their branch stories

OG3 are fairly even with their cards, that's why I'm able to throw these speculations here and I'm seeing this pattern continuing with Sylus. Time will tell if it's accurate and if Caleb will continue in their footsteps
