This is t.A.T.u (acronym of та любит ту, that means “she loves her”). Is a Russian duo formed at 00s by Lena (Sergeevna) Katina and Julia (Olegovna) Volkova.

The duo formed by the director Ivan (Vania) Shapavalov had the concept of two girls who were living an unallowed love, criminalized by the society and chased for being themselves.

Their first album was called 200 по встречной (200km per hour) and was released in 2001, with Нас не Догонят (They’re not gonna get us) and Я Сошла С Ума (I’m losing my mind) as principal singles.
