Condolences to all on the death anniversary of Sayed Ibrahim the son of the Prophet (sawa) Read the following hadith to see what they said about him Imam Hassan al-Askari (as) narrates on the authority of his grandfather Imam Ali al-Ridha (as) who said: Do you know what accusation was thrown at Maria the Copt, and what was falsely claimed against her when she bore Ibrahim, the son of the Prophet? The people said: no, O' Master; you know. Inform us so that we know. The Imam said: When Maria was gifted to my grandfather, the Prophet (sawa), she had with her a servant named Jurayh. He taught her the etiquettes and manners of the kings. She became Muslim on the hands of the Prophet, alongside her servant Jurayh. Their religion and faith became strong (became believers). She owned the heart of the Prophet (due to how much he loved her). Some of the wives of the Prophet began to envy her. Aisha and Hafsa complained to their fathers about the Prophet's inclination towards Maria, and his preference to her over them. They told their fathers to say: Maria became pregnant to Ibrahim by Jurayh. But they didn't know that he was her servant for a long time. So Abu Bakr and Umar went to the Mosque and found the Prophet sitting, so they sat beside him and said: We came to know of a great scandal than involves you. The Prophet said: What are you saying?! They said: O' Prophet, Jurayh is committing the great obscenity (meaning Zina) with Maria, and her pregnancy with Ibrahim is from Jurayh, and not you O' Prophet. The Prophet's face began to change, and acted differently (due to anger). So he said: Woe to you! What are you saying?! They said: O' Prophet, we found Jurayh sitting with Maria, playing and flirting with her, and does what men do to women. Send someone upon him, and you will find them as such, then deliver the punishment of Allah and His Prophet. So the Prophet said: O' Abu Hassan, grab your sword Thulfikar, and go to where they are, and if you find them like what they described, then kill them. So Ali Ibn Abi Taleb left, then came back shortly afterwards and said: Do I enforce your order no matter what, or do I act in a way that the absent does not see what the one who is present sees? (Meaning: If I saw something different, shall I act on my own judgement) The prophet said: May I be sacrificed for you O' Ali, but the present sees what the absent doesn't So Ali Ibn Abi Taleb left with his sword in his hands until he got to the place and saw Jurayh teaching Maria the manners of the kings, and telling her to be kind to the Prophet, and some stuff along those lines. Then, Jurayh saw Amir al-Momineen, and due to fear, Jurayh ran away and went up a tree, then a wind blew and it uncovered the private part of Jurayh, then it was discovered he was cut (meaning, doesn't have a penis) So Amir al-Momineen said: Get down O' Jurayh. Jurayh said: Am I safe? Amir al-Momineen said: Yes. So Amir al-Momineen took Jurayh to the Prophet and said: O' Prophet, Jurayh is a servant who has been cut. So the Prophet turned his head to the wall (because he's gonna ask something very sensitive) and said to Jurayh: Show them, may Allah curse them, and uncover your dress so that their lies can be exposed, how dare they in front of Allah and his Prophet?! So Jurayh uncovered his dress, and indeed he was a cut servant just like he was described. So Abu Bakr and Umar fell between the hands of the Prophet saying: We repent O' Prophet, forgive us and we shall not return. So the Prophet said: May Allah not accept your repentance, how will my forgiveness benefit you while you dare to do such a thing against Allah and His prophet?! They said: O' Prophet, if you forgave us then surely Allah will. Then this verse was revealed: Ask forgiveness for them, [O Muhammad], or do not ask forgiveness for them. If you should ask forgiveness for them seventy times - never will Allah forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger, and Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people (9:80) (Source: Dalail al-Imama by Abu Jafar Muhammad Ibn Jarir al-Tabari al-Imami, pages 385-387)
