Indian nabobs are white people - colonizers. Ciel is insulting white people when he says he says they're a waste of space. Can you pinpoint another case where Ciel behaves in a racist way? Where is the supposed slur he calls Lau? Are we reading this character the same way? To me Ciel has actually always been really accepting of other people's differences (see his conversation with Snake on the Campania) so I'm kind of surprised at this evaluation tbh
