The worst thing about living very far from home for a few years is that, once you've done it, you'll always be homesick for somewhere
#kite rambles#it's missing dubai hours#i bought an abaya in Abu Dhabi and it's gorgeous and of course i brought it back with me#but i haven't worn it here#in dubai it felt normal to wear but here it feels like... idk#like appropriation i guess?#so today's missing dubai hours is because i want to go browse eid sales at the mall of the emirates in my abaya#and take a minute to go look at ski dubai and shake my head at the snow there#but over there I'd be homesick for here and here I'm homesick for there it's never going to stop :c#yeah this is because of that tiktok with everyone explaining their eid outfits and how many of them mentioned dubai
