yes!!!! here is a mini snippet, and here’s some more of what i’m thinking logistics-wise:

i think everyone they know is also going to be in the present (i.e. ulbrickson and their families and whatnot) but the boys are the only ones who are time displaced. so it’s more of like a parallel universe?

however the people they wouldn’t have interacted with (i.e. conibear) are still going to have lived in canon era

i’ve been looking into time travel in media from the 30s and i think they’re going to start piecing it all together because don’s little brother is a buck rogers super fan so don knows all the lore :] even though it’s pretty different from what’s actually going on

also bouncing around chuckroger ideas…. we’ll talk i’m sure……

Stop reading - Steve murphy x reader, sorry this took so long, i had so much work to deal with. Also sorry it’s a little short :/

Prompt - “Stop reading and go to bed”

It was late when Steve got back home from work. He was usually late so it wasn’t unexpected but you were laying in bed waiting for him either way. You watched him as he shucked off his jacket and shoes and walked towards the bedroom. “Hey honey” He said leaning over to kiss your forehead. “Hey stevie, how was work?” You said as he crawled in next to you. “Oh, just more of the same” He said sighing. You nodded pulling him into you. “Why are you still up? You really need your rest honey” He said curling into you. “I was waiting for you, plus this romance book javi bought for me is really good” You said kissing his forehead. “Oh, Javi bought you a romance book huh?” He said teasingly.

“Yes he did, and you’re not gonna bring it up to him either” You said fake threateningly. “I’m not, i’m not” He said kissing your side. You conclude that he’s definitely gonna bring it up to jav but you can’t bring yourself to care too much. “Get some sleep stevie” You said carefully laying him onto his pillow and off your side. He smiled softly before closing his eyes. He assumed you were gonna lay down with him but you stayed sitting up. He could hear the pages of the books turn softly. An attempt not to make too much noise he assumes. “Honey” He drawled out reaching out towards you. “I know what you’re gonna say but it’s just getting to the good part, i’ve waited two hundred and eighty pages for this steve” You said only looking towards him slightly. He conceded and laid back down.

He fell asleep shorty after and you kept reading. He woke up again about two hours later to go to the bathroom when he realized you were still up. After he came back out of the bathroom he laid down beside you again. “Honey, please stop reading and go to bed” He said wrapping his arms around your waist. “Please just a little more” You said leaning into him. “You need your rest, put the book down” He said kissing the exposed skin where your shirt rode up. “Not even just a little more” You said pouting at him. “No more” He said sliding the bookmark into your book before setting it on his nightstand where you couldn’t reach it.

“Fine, no more tonight but i’m finishing that book tomorrow night and you can’t stop me” You said finally laying down with him. “Alright, let’s get to sleep honey” He said tucking his head into your neck. When you thought he had finally gone to sleep you began to reach around him but his hand stopped yours and intertwined your fingers. “No more reading.” He said tucking your head into his neck. “Fine” You said pouting. This time he stayed awake to be sure you were gonna actually sleep. He smiled softly as the stress melted away from your face before eventually closing his eyes.
