Summary: Shun Kurosaki's life changes drastically when he is kidnapped and forced to become a Pet to Sora Shiun'in, the third highest ranking noble of the vampire political party known as the 'Circle'. As much as he wants to rebel and refuse to be Sora's Pet, Shun can't help but feel sorry for Sora and they slowly become friends. Shun, despite how much he fights it, ends up falling in love with Sora. By falling in love each other, Shun and Sora end up putting both their lives in danger as a romance being a vampire and their pet is highly illegal. In the end, Shun unknowingly uncovers a world of hidden secrets that mask Sora's true identity, secrets that could end up saving both their lives and give them both a happy ending.

Here’s my completed work for this year’s YGO Big Bang. This was a huge project for me but I had a lot of fun with it. This is an au I've been wanting to write for almost two years and I finally got around to doing it. The Big Bang was the push I needed to finish this.

I have so many people to thank. - The Mods of the Big Bang, of course. They were so nice to me for some reason. (Especially to Mod S for the aesthetic which is very fitting by the way.) - My Honey Bunny who helped motivate me and for being a supportive bae. - A big thanks to @vanishing-rainias on tumblr (Reishiin on AO3) for helping me edit this. I had so many mistakes and things I overlooked so it really helped to have someone go through it for me. (Plus your comments on my fic made my day!) - @fluffymoe on tumblr for drawing art for me. Her art is really awesome so please check her out. I flailed like a fangirl when I realized she picked my fic to draw for.

I’ve hinted at this before, but I thought now might be a good time to officially announce that I am participating in this year’s @ygobigbang! Posting starts in September - but I’m nothing if not a giver, so please enjoy this dumb little snippet:

“Mr Kaiba,” he said cordially, and Seto looked up to see a nametag that identified the man as one, Tristan Taylor. “At this festive season of the year, it is desirable that we should bear in mind the poor and destitute. There are many in want of common necessities, and as such, there are those of us endeavouring to raise a fund for these people. Therefore, we take it upon ourselves to ask men of your financial standing to assist by offering a small donation, in the spirit of the holiday. What shall I put you down for?”

“Nothing,” said Seto.

“You wish to remain anonymous?” asked Tristan.

“I wish to be left alone,” answered Seto. “I do not make merry myself at Christmas-” (that much was true.) “-And I cannot afford to make idle people merry.” (That much was not true.) “I know how to treat the poor. My taxes help pay for shelters and halfway homes. If the poor are in need of food or sanctuary, they must go there, Christmas or not.”

“Oh, no, you misunderstand!” the man said jovially. “I said we were raising funds for common necessities, sir. In this case, Duel Monsters booster packs. Would you believe that one in five kids don’t own any cards at all? Not even a basic polymerisation.”

“Oh, Seto, help them!” Mokuba cried out.  

“Quiet!” Seto ordered before redirecting his attention back to Tristan. “If they cannot afford Duel Monsters cards, then they should go without.”

“But some would rather die!” answered the horrified man.

“If they would rather die, they’d better do it, and decrease the surplus population! Good afternoon!”
