Seriously sports anime learn from example. Do it or DONT, but DECIDE one. If this is an example of messing around it certainly is bold overkill. BUT if he happens to be a queer character then wow nice starting, and would be great to see with absolutely no romance actually happening at all too, maybe even better. 

But heh thats just me seeing a potential in this MASSIVE delivery. Which likely is just a failed baiting attempt. Failed cuz crashing THIS back into a straight line would require breaking it at several places omg XD Or maybe they just leave it to “guessing” so they and eat the cake and keep it.

Oh crap, looks like Tomo's friends are jealous. Just goes to show, Tomo put forth all the passion and effort, that his friend didn't, into diving and now they're upset he's getting special treatment. So now confused Tomo is actually relying on Miu for emotional support. Are they OK now? I feel like he kind of used her because his friends had abandoned him since he never really showed much interest in her before. I also feel like maybe Miu resents his diving hobby because he cares more about it than her. I think Yoichi might quit the club or something. He doesn't want to feel like he's going to the Olympics for any other reason than himself, so I feel like weight of the club's desires might just hold him back especially because of that trauma in his past. Being forced to do something before you're ready for other people is not cool.
