Chapter 09: A long night. Pairing: Poly!OT8xoriginal chararters Rating: 18+ Word Count: 3,215

Once back at the house, the first thing that was noticed was Ari was gone. Almost as hearing Yechan's thoughts Wooyoung, who was sitting on the sofa provided Yechan with her answer " San went to put Ari in her bed" He told her as they walked in from the garage, Past the offices.

Hongjoong was sitting at his desk with Seonghw and Mingi in front of him. Hongjoong was scrubbing his face and Mingi was talking with his hands. Yechan and Yunho kept walking.

Sitting on the sofa Wooyoung pulled Yechan into a side Hug. Yunho turned toward Wooyoung "Was he able to get out of the meeting?" Wooyoung shook his head "He's pissed about it too, with everything that just happened I don't blame him at all either." He replied as the other three walked into the living room.

Mingi made his way to the oversized sofa, Sitting beside Yunho and taking his hand. Hongjoong sat in the old chair, pulling out his phone while Seonghwa made his way upstairs. Returning a few minutes later with San and Jongho. Hongjoong placed the phone on the coffee table in front of the chair and then propped one of his feet on the same table, Seonghwa slapped his shoulder. Joong just grunted.

"I guess by the quietness you weren't able to fully get out of the meeting," Yeosang asked through the phone "No" Hongjoong answered shortly. "The Distributor is still requesting to meet with all of us in the morning" Seonghwa finished as Hongjoong sat in his chair with his arms crossed, Pouting.

"We were hoping that you would be ok with staying here while we are gone to watch the house, and to make sure Ari is safe." Hwa was looking at Yechan. "We didn't want her to stay by herself before, but now even more." He added Yechan looked from Seonghwa to Hongjoong. The latter let out a breath "She has no way to protect herself"

"I don't mind staying here with her." She told them looking around, Her eyes landing back on the captain. "It's settled then," Hongjoong said then got up and walked out of the room up the stairs, the other just watched.

"Is Joongie acting like a child?" Yeosang asked through the phone. A round of Yeps and yes's were called out. "Wonderful, I'll be home in a few hours. Love you" Yeosang hung up.

"Now what?" Wooyoung asked. "Go pack." Seonghwa then headed upstairs too.

"Yechan stood up and headed into her room waiting for Dune to come in and then closing the door. This was going to be a long week.

Most of the guys already have an overnight flight bag ready at all times with everything needed, so packing didn't take too long.

Wooyoung packed San's bag for him, due to his refusal to leave Ari's side they had to leave for the small airport where the jet was. With Multiple Villas around the continents, They would just get the Suites needed from the Villa in Ganji City.

When it was time to go no one saw Hongjoong again until they got to the airport. The reset taking turns saying goodbyes to the two girls. Seongwha and Wooyoung have the pull San away from the sleep girl's form, While Yunho and Mingi take the longest to say goodbye to Yechan.

Not a few minutes after everyone left Yechan's cell phone rang, She answered without looking at the caller. "Hello" She answered feeling exhausted "Yechan" It was Yeosang "I just wanted to give you a heads up on a few things." He said calmly. "All of your stuff came back clean but keep an eye out for any side effects. If you do think something is wrong call either Scoups, Intak, or Yonghee. They are all aware of what happened" He stopped talking "ok" Yechan replied.

Yeosong continued "Ari is already prone to nightmares" Yechan cut him off knowing where this was going "And that is one of the side effects of the drug, Got to keep an eye out for it" Yechan was starting to shake.

Dune started to poke her with his nose. She made her way to the kitchen as Yeosang continued. "You know where everything is so make yourself at home, or order pizza and have a movie night. She will be asleep for a while" Yechan could hear his car stop "One more thing before I get out, Hongjoong is an asshole" This made Yechan laugh "Seriously, Don't take anything he said to heart. He is just obsessed with Ari, It's unhealthy at this point" Yeosang laughed with Yechan

"We will be home soon, Most likely within 48 hours," He told the girl as he fixed his hair in the rearview mirror "We'll see you once we are back" After telling her goodbye, and disconnecting the call Yechan sat the counter with fresh cut strawberries, Rocky was slowly trying to make his way over to her and Dune.

-Yechan's POV -

Watching as Rocky slowly crawled over to Dune until he was at his tail and kept nipping at it. Django made his way into the kitchen sitting on my opposite side. I turned to Dune "Pị lèn." (Go play. ) Dune turned and jumped on Rocky. The other dog yelped taking off, and Dune followed him around the kitchen island. I shook my head and grabbed a strawberry off my plate handing it to Django.

Poping the last strawberry in my mouth, I rinsed the plate, placed it in the drain, and went to check on Ari. Her room was not what I had expected at all. No trace of pink in sight. The back wall that the bed was set on was white. It had a canopy running from the ceiling to wear a headboard would be, With a large framed photo acting as the headboard. The bed was sitting on a large rug with fake candles and fairy lights surrounded by plants.

SIren lifted his head as I walked in. The sleeping beauty lay in her bed under the white comforter with brown silky pillows around her head. A small toy dog lying next to her in the bed.

It was odd seeing this room so full of life, they used to keep it as a random storage room. It sets the difference that they have with her, that Hongjoong and Hwa have with her. Looking around the room an open door led to the bathroom and the closed door had the dress bag hanging up in it.

A desk set in front of a window, there was a few things on the desk. A large thing of water, A peace lily, and a large laptop with a stylist pen next to it. I shook my head walking out of the room down the hall to the master's bedroom.

Opening the door Matz was lying on the bed, For a cat that has the run of the house he normally stays in one room. Wooyoung's black kitten Nero, Was nowhere to be found. Odd.

I quickly changed the water bowl and refilled the dry food before heading out of the room and going down the hall to Woo's room to see if Nero was there. Open Wooyoung's door, He always stated that he didn't need a lot of room, so he chose to take the smallest room upstairs. The original storage room.

His bed Was sitting on the floor on top of a few pallets with random pillows and blankets on top, Along with some stuffed animals tucked under one of the blankets, Like they would get cold. A shelf leaned between the bathroom and closet doors along with a small deck off to one side.

The shelf was full of random things. Old guitar picks, random rocks, small pine cones, Photos from a picture booth, Pennies he finds while out walking, random small Legos, and dried flowers hanging upside down. On the desk were some of the camera equipment he was working on, Notebooks, and other random books. Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, longleaf to name a few that I could see right off the back. Old receipts sticking out the top of them.

His bathroom door was closed as was the photo studio's door on the opposite side of the room. He never leaves the two doors open. Nero had some of his small toys scattered about but the cat tree was empty.

It's odd, If the little kitty wasn't in the master bedroom he was normal in Woo's room. Refilling Nero's water and food bowls, I left the door cracked as I walked out of the room looking down the hall. The only other room open was Yunho and Mingi's.

That little kitty knows better than to go in there, Walking down the hallway frames lined the walls with random photos that Wooyoung mainly took. Some of themselves, animals, and Places they visited around the world. Paris, St. Peterburgh, Vatican City, as well as places local.

Pushing the door open my eyes went to the fuzzy black ball laying on the white and gold bed. I honestly don't think either of them slept in here, the room was far too clean.

I walked over, Laying on the fluffy comforter the small orange eye kitten rolled over onto his back pawing at me with its front legs. "You are not supposed to be in here," I told him, Nero just meowed back at me. I just laid on my 'husband' and boyfriend's bed. Laughing at myself as I started to feel myself doze off Because technically Yunho was my husband. I felt my eyes closed

-Yechan's dream -

We had only been in the new office for about a week, Everyone was still trying to figure out where everything would go. Yunho was the last person I had expected to walk into the office that morning, following behind Keeho who was carrying another box in.

"That got to be all the boxes, Right?" I asked Keeho "Afraid not" Then Keeho walked out to get more boxes from the moving truck.

"You got a moment?" Yunho asked looking almost nervous, I smiled at his shyness "For you, Always" I walked over and kissed him "PDA gross" Soul shouted as he walked past the door, Helping Keeho with boxes heading to Hongjoong's office down the hall.

I laughed at the two boys making kissing sounds down the hall. Yunho sat up straight in my office chair, opening his officer coat and pulling out a small rolled-up paper "I just need you to fill this out if you're able to" He smiled at me as I made my way over to my office chair " I have time now" I sat in his lap "ok" he handed me his good pilot pen " Sign here" He pointed to a spot marked on the page "and here he pointed to another spot.

He then kissed the back of my neck "Initial on the next to spots" He pulled the strap of my tank top over lightly reaching more of my shoulder "Your making it hard to do so" I sighed at him as he lightly nipped my shoulder, Careful to not leave a mark. I could feel him smirking into my neck "I'm sorry, flip over to the next page" Yunho said lightly running his tongue towards my ear, I did what he said as he reached my ear taking the lobe between his teeth. "At the bottom of the page, I need you to sign and date it" He sucked on the ear as I did so I couldn't help the small moan from escaping.

"Are you done fucking yet?" Hongjoong said from the doorway "You're going to traumatize the kids" Hongjoong's half and half-hair fell into his eyes. "your no fun" Yunho said tapping my leg. He stood up, grabbed the paper rolling it back up before sliding it into his coat pocket.

"What was that paper anyways?" I asked as I made my way over towards the bookshelf picking up the oriental box out of its box as I passed "Oh nothing to Import, Just legal papers to have your last name changed" I turned to Yunho almost dropping the old box "What" I shouted "Why" I asked as I steadied myself "Because I didn't like your last name so I'm having it changed to Jeong" He walked past Hongjoong with a big smile on his face.

I looked at Hongjoong "What just happened?" I asked him confused. He laughed" I think you just got married" He turned heading back to his office laughing. I followed him out into the hallway "I'm not married until I have a ring!" I shouted as he walked away from me, Still laughing.

I turned running into a large hard body Looking up to find Mingi looking at me, His large hands on my shoulder steadying me. "I'll get you a ring" He turned and took out to the front lobby "Mingi I don't need a ring!" I yelled at him but he was gone "What the hell is going" I said walking back into the office, Dune just stared at me from his bed.

-Real world -

A wet nose nudges me awake. Expecting to see Dune I looked down to Django nudging me with his cold nose. "Ok, I'm up," I said pushing him off me, Django trotted to the door, Siren and Dune were waiting in the hallway outside the door. All three turned and headed down the hall. I picked up the little black cat, dropping him off in Wooyoung's room.

Following them to the back door, I open it for them. Rocky came out of the kitchen and ran outside tripping down the steps as he went. I left the door open and sat down outside in a lawn chair next to the in-ground pool.

The night sky showed a crescent moon, Barely more than a sliver.

I pulled out my phone to check the time, 11:39 pm. Damn, I unlocked the phone checking to see if I had any missed calls. One call from Mingi and a few texts from Wooyounf, Yunho, BM, and Rhea.

Wooyoung's was a photo showing the dark clouds outside of the jet windows and a message saying "I'm going to jump" I laughed messaging him back "No you won't, Chicken" along with the chicken Emoji.

Yunho's just started that Wooyoung was an idiot, I laughed replying "Don't kill him."

BM's message just said "Hey", It was from a few hours ago so I chose to not message him back so late.

The message from Rhea was only from a few minutes ago. It simply asked if I had seen Ari this afternoon, I replied telling her that she was at the villa upstairs asleep. I locked my phone setting it down, I looked around at the four dogs, Rocky had some kind of toy slinging it around. Django was lying on the bottom step watching Rocky, and Dune was walking towards me.

I turned looking back towards the door. Siren was sitting by the door looking at me. "Nǐ kěyǐ huí dào tā shēnbiān." (You can go back to her.) I told Siren in Chinese as Yeosang would speak to him a lot in Chinese.

He turned and headed inside.

My phone then went off again. It was a text from Rhea again "Are you with her?" She asked, I sighed and just called her. Rhea picked up on the first ring. "I'm so confused" She shouted before I could say Hello. "Why?" I asked, Dune made his way over to me climbing up in the chair to lay between my legs. "Ari is not answering and hasn't been, It's not like her to do that unless she is asleep, But that doesn't sleep. so I don't know what's going on" Rhea ranted. I don't think she took a breath.

"Ari is ok, She is asleep. She just had a scare early and is now resting." I told Rhea "What" She cut me off "You're there?" She asked "Ya, I'm staying the night maybe tomorrow too. I'm not sure yet" I told her petting Dune's head. "Now I know something weird is going on" Some rustling happens on the other line "Seugmin, Shut the hell up" She shouted "Sorry," Rhea said coming back to the phone "The idiot is egging the cats on and they don't like it" This made me smile

"It's fine," I told her "I'm about to head to shower and try to get some sleep," I told her standing up. Patting my leg all the dogs came to me then went inside. I walked in closing the door behind me and locking it "OK, Text me when you get up. Night." She said hanging up the phone before I could reply. That girl never slows down.

I walked over to my bedroom Dune following behind me going to lay in his bed between the Bathroom and walk-in closet. Taking a quick shower, I put on the white and brown teddy bear Pj's that Jongho got me for Christmas last year. Placing my glasses on I walked upstairs to Ari's room to check on her once more.

The girl was fine, Still lying on her back in the same spot. Siren was on the bed and Djonga was lying on the ground next to the bed. Rocky was asleep on his back in the middle of the floor, His tongue sticking out.

I walked over to Ari and placed my hand on her throat, This caused Siren to start to growl at me. Django quickly responded to his brother's alert, He gave a deep bark. Siren stopped growling but his ears were still lying backward watching me.

I checked Ari's pulse, It was strong but not overly fast. It's just above normal. She should be fine, Just need to sleep it off at this point. I pulled the blanket up to cover her more and turned to Django "Gaurd" I told the dogs. django's ears pointed up, Alerted. I didn't need to turn and look at Siren to know he was doing the same.

Looking over at the sleeping Rocky, He had rolled over and was alerted at me. He stood and followed me to the door, sitting down outside of Ari's bedroom door. I stopped and patted his head "Good boy"

Heading back downstairs to my room, I found Dune already sleeping in his bed. Leaving the door cracked, I shook my head and climbed into bed.

I was barely asleep when the door busted open. Something jumped into my bed and was buried under the covers on my side. A moment later something else joined and it pushed me out of the bed onto the floor

"What the hell," I said loudly A loud bang was heard across the room. Turning around it looked like Rocky and Dune were wrestling, But it was different than what they normally do.

Django barked from on top of my bed, Hopping off the bed and moving to the door. He spun in a circle, Barked, and ran out of the room.

Something was wrong.
