every once in a while i go back and reread my old abandoned fic that’s been making me cringe for years and years and this last time i did it i was half cringing but then a new thing of like. remembering how much fun i had writing it. how even though the tone is so off in so many places a lot of the humor is still kinda funny. almost wanting to draw some things from it. anyway the point of this post is to say i am so so annoyed that a fanfic i both started and abandoned in middle school is what has given me the drive to start working on atbb again

#trousled rambles #cannot emphasize enough that i started that fic literally six years ago #and abandoned it #five years ago #its so weird though because it feels like something's shifted and now as cringe as it is i have a weird fondness for it #and all of its out of place mainstream emo band references very clearly written by a 12 year old #you can even see the things i carried from it over to atbb #like damn i kinda almost. wanna write something like that again #just with more structure #and an actual plan this time #and no spartacus scene #hey. hey brain? whats going on in there
