#young royals fandom is the best holyshit

I'm absolutely stunned by the amazing minds in the Young Royals fandom.

I was super okay appreciating the show for what it is, an amazing piece of media with queer themes treated with care, amazing acting, wonderful storyline and especially two lead actors who are not only great at their jobs but also have unmatched, effervescent chemistry with each other.

And then, AND THEN! I came across some posts of the analyses of the show and the different scenes and the hidden meanings behind the smallest of gestures and AAAAAAAAAAAH. They all add so much glorious depth to an already glorious TV show??

Like Young Royals has layers upon layers of hidden meaning and the Young Royals fandom it's so good at discovering and deciphering them all??

I feel like this pretty much all the time when reading an analysis post:

I'm in awe of all of you, you guys are the most intelligent fandom I've ever seen. I appreciate every post and they seriously make me want to watch the show all over again, all the time!! 💜💜

It's been a whole week since I hopped on a plane to come home and stumbled upon a Netflix series from Sweden that altered the chemistry of my brain!!!!

One week since I sent an anonymous message to @young-royals-confessions while waiting for my suitcase because I had ALL these feelings and thoughts inside myself and I needed to let them out somehow because the alternative was screaming at everybody in the airport about how GOOD AND SWEET AND AWESOME AND SAD BUT LOVELY AND REAAAAL THIS SHOW WAS?? also THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE TWO LEADS??? That made feel SO MANY things?? Even with a look?? Because I could FEEL their silent communication. AND THE LONGING!!!! HOW? How was I supposed to be normal about this show when it's just beautiful and with beautiful people, it had me in disbelief Omar Rudberg was a real person lmao Definitely most beautiful man I've seen though!

To think I picked Young Royals because it was roughly 6 hours long and I didn't want to sleep on the plane to not mess with my sleeping schedule. Which I did anyway since I watched the second season immediately after I got home lmao Who needs sleep when I was dying to know if a fictional Swedish prince was going to get back together with his gorgeous Latino boyfriend with the amazing voice who happened to be the love of his life??? They gave me so much energy that I only felt the lack of sleep on Friday lmao

The reason why so many of us in the YR Fandom on Tumblr are so nice is that most of us are grown-ass adults (I can't finde the age poll we did once, but let's just say there aren't many teens here). We're like the sophisticated, civil part of the fandom on here. Except when new snippets of S3 drop. Then we all lose our shit for two days.

So, welcome again and enjoy being debonairly unhinged about our favorite show.

Some kind sweet people have messaged me telling me that and I think it's great! I'm also 30+ 🤭 so I guess that's why I feel like I'm among my people already haha I'll forever be grateful to my freaked out mind for opening tumblr and for the algorithm for recommending the confessions blog to me.

And I can totally understand the feeling, I lost my shit after watching only the first season, after watching the second and the season 3 clip I was ready to scream from my rooftop about Young Royals!

I have to admit that afterwards, when I got home and watched the second season, I wanted to go scream about those new season two feelings but I was a bit scared of what I was going to find . Will it make you feel better if I say that something similar happened to Wilnur (Omar's mom) last spring? I mean, you are in a good company, and shit happens to everyone, even the best and sweetest people and that incident doesn't mean you can't have good things in life - you can and you will.
