As we stepped out of the car once he parked it, I followed him outside similar to a little duckling behind him. My ice cold hand held his surprisingly warm palm as if the act from earlier didn't end at all. My hand felt like it could break any second, if he gripped it tighter than now.

I knew that was just wishful thinking, as I couldn't stop finding a good reason to rethink about my initial goal: Revenge. No matter if the eye of the storm quiets down, the surroundings is destroyed nonetheless.

It didn't matter if it was a peaceful atmosphere, one where I didn't want to leave reluctantly. It was, alive. A place where you can laugh freely and hopefully not be bothered by drunkards catcalling you despite the children in there. His suggestion that I should eat something that I could stomach brought me back to my physical well-being. Alone the food in here was wonderfully smelling and I honestly didn't care what I was going to eat, I would receive it gratefully.

In slight enthusiasm, mostly because he's paying, we sat down at a place for two people. Slowly, my hand let his warmth go to sit down first just as a waitress walked by to take our orders in. I looked at the most cheapest item there, a bone broth soup that didn't have meat in it with a glass of water. "What would you like, handsome Sir?", the waitress asked with a friendly smile towards Mingi, placing the side dishes down first for us to eat with the initial meal.

Mingi had decided not to comment on the value of the meal you had ordered, simply returning the waitress' smile with a charming expression of his own. He was going to be ordering quite a bit for himself and the others back at the complex - the part of Yunho's earlier message he had chosen not to mention out loud.

"I'd like to order a serving of samgyetang, four servings of the lobster and tuna kimbap, and a serving of dumling soup." He ordered, maintaining eye contact and grinning once he saw the almost appreciative look in the woman's eye.

Once the woman had left, he turned to you. Was he trying to give you something substantial to eat before the both of you headed back? Perhaps it was just the drill instructer in him; making sure his recruits were healthy before going through his rigorous training.

"You said you didn't want to eat anything that had set foot near the complex, why are you ordering a pauper's meal?" Mingi questioned. "You're having the dumpling soup, alright?"
