I made myself as a ghost for the ghost family portrait @yveni is doing! I’m not an artist by any means, I only doodle for letters I write to my friends and I have shaky hands 😅 to show how little I know about digital art I literally made this in the notes app on my iPad (to make matters worse I couldn’t zoom in 😭) nevertheless I’m so excited to see how the portrait turns out!

I don’t know why but it’s a little blurry on tumblr 😭

Prompts in order: skull, rapier, ghost, Lockwood (that’s Celia and Donald hehe), home, cemetery (sorry), Lucy, tea time, chains (listen, she’s wearing her necklaces, those count as chains, okay?), and George (don’t ask, idk either).

I’ve been mainly prioritizing having fun with these drawings, I’m not really focusing on skill lol, just experimenting with pens and markers and colors.

I’ve been following the prompt list from @/savousepate on insta idk why it’s not letting me put the link.

I did a thing for the ‘use of color’ prompt. ( @postinglockwood )

Was using highlighter the best option? No.

Will I find a ton of mistakes when I wake up and absolutely hate it? Probably.

Anyways, I love when characters have assigned colors. It makes my heart happy.

I had a minor wrist procedure the other day and since then I’ve been forcing myself to draw a lot more loosely and basically trying to retrain my wrist so I do not hurt myself further and uh… turns out Legwood is a very great warmup doodle that I’ve been using for the past few days now.

Here’s part of today’s little warmup sesh ☺️ (also has a few other Lockwood and Co. related doodles + me discovering a pen I’ve never used has glitter in it)(so does the silver pen I used for Skull but I knew that already and I thought he deserved glitter)

hi, my name is Yve (Or you can call me Yvette, whichever is fine). I’m an art student in California, I like reading books and watching things in any genre (I lean towards fantasy and sci-fi), I’m really just a sucker for a good story.

Basically, tumblr is the site I go to whenever I get really obsessed with a book, movie, TV show, or whatever. So, technically this is a multifandom blog but it goes through its phases. I have begun to post more regularly, and not all of it has to do with fandom, so this is becoming a litte bit of a personal blog too.

main fandoms: lockwood & co., percy jackson & the olympians/heroes of olympus, the dragon prince, how to train your dragon, ummm idk i consume a lot of media.

I like to discuss. I tend to ramble and reiterate/reword points I already made. If I feel like something is becoming essay length, I’ll stick it in this tag. 

There will be more to come on this, as I have a lot of opinions on things. I grew up as a Pastor’s Kid™, so some, if not most, of it will be on religion and my experience with it. It’s been a good experience, which I know, unfortunately, is not the same for everyone.
