thoughts on zazie the beast? including the most unhinged ones? >stares intently

taps fingers together i acquired the means to do research about this and then just. have not yet because i am perpetually doing six projects at once BUT

something i think nightow did not realize and studio orange absolutely did is that zazie (worms wams et al) are by virtue of being a sentient native species, a native PEOPLE of no man's land and i think there is simply. So Much To Look Into There.

also i just. have so many thoughts about zazie being interested in knives' side of things because they are also interested in preserving their species and have noted humanity being kind of greedy and thoughtless but turns out knives does not actually care about the eco part of ecofascism. damn shame!!!!!!

(someday i will write a modern au fic about knives being a shitty white liberal with his priorities completely out of wack who mostly just wants to watch specific parts of the world burn and the people he ropes into his behavior by knowing the right talking points until he runs out of justifications for being a tool. whenever i am ready to have things thrown at me for the audacity which is ~not right now~)
