Aldrich found entertainment in a great, many ways. A more recent one came in staring at a respectable distance— close enough to see her, far enough to not be deemed conspicuous.
Marvelous, he thought behind one of the trees of Pomefiore’s forests, having slaughtered every woodland critter who'd tried making his presence known to her. Absolutely marvelous.
Over the past week, Victoria Shard had caught the attention of Aldrich Edelweiss; prince of Edelweiss, and leader of his troop of witch hunters.
Aldrich couldn't recall when this fascination with her began, but the prince couldn't be bothered to retrace his footsteps as to when it had happened— his focus remained on her, her and her alone.
He quietly sighed, blissful and dreamy at the sight of her. Sat atop a rock, humoring the desires of the woodland critters fortunate enough to encounter her, and not him.
Her movements were poised, precise. As swift as a blade slicing through to the apex of the heart, and aiming as true as any arrow. Akin to a princess, Aldrich thought with eerie satisfaction.
“So, so beautiful... so perfect...” he complimented her in a hushed voice, his canines digging into the flesh of his bottom lip, and yet he didn't care.
Inevitably, his lips bled the longer his teeth stabbed into its flesh. And as his blood slowly slipped down from his chin and onto the grass below his feet— finally, Victoria felt the ever-distant feeling that she was being watched.
A rabbit laid asleep on her lap, its snow white fur gently caressed in between the fingers that combed through it. “How sweet…”
“Although, I have this feeling,” Victoria said, her free hand below the chin of a doe, as if expecting it to react or reply to her observation. “Am I being watched? Or have I truly come to my wit's end?”
Aldrich felt the hitch of his breath against his throat, one foot taking a step back. Should he dare approach? Profess his loyalties and all that he desired unto her?
Or would he remain a twisted, broken-minded coward — whether he acknowledged that as fact or not — and flee like a stray?
He fled. Of course he did, it was his only option left on the table. The last time an encounter in the forest happened between him and his savior, she'd threatened him; used her magic against him while he'd been vulnerable, without a knife strapped to his side.
It was the most gorgeous sight; the way the sun’s bright fixtures illuminated her at her back, looming over him as though she were a goddess reborn. A saint exempting him from the land of promise to repent for his sins.
He'd wanted to kill her, then. Strangled her throat until her face was comparable to the purple of her hair, until her eyes ceased to open again, and until he could cut out her heart and display it in his room for only him to see.
Since then, he'd dreamed again, and again. Of her. In the good dreams, he'd hunted her down like a starved cat on a search for its next meal.
In the bad dreams, he embraced her and never wanted to let go; her fingers in his hair, her lips against his, their arms wrapped eternally around each other.
In the far off distance from where Victoria stood, her words somehow echoed throughout the forest— reaching far enough for him to hear her and the melodious song her voice had elicited.
“Strange… ever strange, indeed.”
Tumblr media
“He's looking… again.”
“Pay no mind to him,” said Victoria to Zenith, the former appetizing on a box of dark chocolate brownies as her dessert. “I can assure you, he isn't of your concern.”
But Zen was not so easily convinced. “Sure he isn't.”
“He is of little importance, Zen.”
“Yeah, well, important or not, I am not enjoying the way he's looking at you.”
Victoria sighed. “... You want me to send Mephisto after him, don't you?”
Now that got Zen to grin a little more than before. Maybe, his eyes suggested, filled with mischief and a need for entertainment.
“No.”
“What? Why not??”
“Aldrich isn't a threat.”
“Aldrich Edelweiss. Not a threat.” He looked like he could burst into laughter any minute now after a statement like that. “Very funny, Tori.”
Victoria deadpanned. “He isn't.”
But it isn't looking like he's going to relent, she thought with a tiny and barely concealed frown as she assessed Zen and his expressions.
Mephisto— Victoria's loyal, obedient, little corvid she'd inherited from her late grandmother — was exclusive to keeping an eye on those Victoria personally deemed a threat.
To her, Aldrich didn't qualify as one. He checked off some boxes, sure, but a threat? That's the last thing Victoria would ever call him.
But Zen was relentless. After this, she knew he'd continue to pester and convince her into spying on Aldrich through Mephisto— a nice sentiment on his end, but one she'd consider inconvenient.
Inconvenience, however, wasn't enough to stop a sigh from escaping her lips at what she was to say next.
“... I'll see what I can do about Mephisto.”
Zen smiled. Satisfied, she'd call the expression, and before she could mumble at how he wouldn't allow a no out of her, he pulled her in for a hug.
“Good to know, Tori,” Zen murmured in relief.
And that was enough to prevent her from getting any more annoyed than she already was.
Tumblr media
This damn bird, Aldrich thought to himself the more it became clear that Mephisto just wouldn't leave him alone.
For the past four weeks, he hadn't been able to get even a fraction close enough to where he wanted to be— to keep his sights on Victoria was a form of entertainment as much as it was a twisted show of his devotion, and he couldn't even have that.
His patience thinned, as did his sanity. Clueless to who the crow that's been stalking him like a circling vulture waiting to take whatever's left, Aldrich had taken a few extra measures into making sure it stopped following him.
He'd shot arrows, dabbled in throwing his blades right at the damn creature, hoping that one of them could land a hit.
But it wouldn't let up, always somehow returning to him unscathed when he'd been so sure that he'd targeted them dead more than once.
The damn bird even stole his prized dagger right out of his grasp. And every night since, he dreamed of cutting it open with that same blade, presenting the contents to his savior as a sacrifice worthily presented.
He found solace tonight, knowing that Mephisto was seemingly nowhere as he watched Victoria. At first he found it odd, considering a forest deep into the long hours of midnight would be an almost perfect location for a crow to lurk and sneer.
Aldrich Edelweiss, however, hadn't bothered to care too much about it. Not while he admired Victoria — a closer distance than they'd usually be — singing a symphony even the coral sea sirens knew never to compete with.
The animals adored her, sitting by her, having the pleasure of having their head on her lap with their fur combed through by her fingers.
His hand twitched, a wave of longing crashing over him as it always did; the temptations of reaching out and having the attention of all those fur-faced and like-minded winged creatures taken away and directed unto him.
His compromise was a quiet sigh, a hand over his heart. A silent duet they shared, a wordless melody only they knew the lyrics of, even when one didn't notice the presence of the other.
But the sound of a familiar caw brought an end to a moment of entrancing quiet. Bringing Victoria to her feet, and Aldrich with his guard up, bow and arrow in hand and a quiver strapped to his back.
This time, he'd make the shot.
“Mephisto.”
So that was its name. Even so, all too late, Aldrich didn't even process the hand that reached out to the corvid as he fired a single shot.
Just as it was about to pierce through his tormentor, it froze like ice and dropped to the ground. Shattering like broken glass in its place.
The prince's broken, lovesick heart sank at the sight of his savior’s hand reaching out to let his tormentor perch on it like a throne, her fingertips gently caressing the underside of its beak.
“There you are…” Victoria hummed. “I should feed you more, you've been flying slower as of late. Do you think Pallas has any spares left?”
Mephisto gave out another caw straight from its hazardous beak. Victoria frowned. “I forgot to restock. I've been… busy. You know that.”
At long last, Aldrich's heart stopped in its beat. And yet as quickly as he did, Victoria and her corvid’s heads whipped to his direction— staring down at the trees he'd been using to keep cover.
Victoria scrutinized it, her sharp sapphires for eyes suddenly squinting. She scoffed, her soft fingertip tickling Mephisto's beak.
“Go.”
Then and there, Aldrich bolted the opposite direction, racing into the darkness of the forest with no way of knowing where he'd end up— his eardrums ringing in torment, his breathing shallow as he pushed his legs past their limits.
Mephisto followed suit, its crowing mocking at him like laughter. Aldrich shrieked, hands going to the sides of his head to pull at the hairs in hopes that would distract him; little success came of that.
He felt tired. So tired. His chest heaved while his throat burned the longer he ran.
You could imagine the drop of his heart when he — mid-sprint — had all of a sudden, frozen in place. Aldrich's breath finally came to a prolonged, shallow halt.
Her footsteps were so slow and she drew nearer, and nearer. As though she were taunting him, she also took her time in getting closer.
Slowly, treacherous, and calculatingly, she finally reached him; her chest to his back, a shadow towering over his own.
Her arms weaved seamlessly on to his shoulders, a tight hold on them under the impression that if she didn't, he'd run off.
Is this it? Aldrich brought that thought to the forefront. If it were, he supposed it wasn't the worst way to die.
To die by the hands of his savior was better than to die dishonorably by a heretic. But she'd once been that for him, too.
“Kill me,” Aldrich demanded in a soft, tight voice. He clenched his fists at his sides and closed his eyes shut. “Kill me, if you must.”
“I don't plan on killing you, anytime soon.”
Her grip loosened. And with it, her melodious voice went lower in its octave, barely counting as a whisper with each word she spoke.
“I know you've been watching me, Edelweiss.”
The dagger Mephisto had stolen away from him returned to him, at long last. Slowly, Victoria gave a sideways glance to Aldrich while he remained in her grasp with his dagger back in its sheath.
Aldrich shuddered under her grasp— not from her admission, nor from the familiarity of his dagger back in his possession, but the feeling of her breath against the shell of his ear. “I—”
“You don't need to explain yourself for me,” said Victoria. “I'd be a hypocrite if I judged you for it.”
Her hand gently caressed his jaw, adjusting it until his eyes met hers right above. She towered over him, a titaness overcasting him— an undeserving mortal.
She smiled wryly, as though the dazed look in the prince's eyes were humorous. She turned him on his heel and pinned him to a tree, one hand right over his head.
A sight so beautiful it made him want to reach out in ways he'd never even think of doing leading up to this.
In a flash, her eyes broke their gaze with his and looked above at Mephisto circling them from above. “If you must know…”
“... I've been having a certain bird, a confidant if you want to call it that, keep tabs on you for the past… what was it, four weeks?”
At the sudden question, Aldrich nodded rapidly. He couldn't get a word out; that, on its own, was worth his own shock.
“... Why?” His voice was soft, too soft. From one moment to the next, his gaze shifted between meeting her cold gaze and the soft lips mere inches away from his face.
“Why?...” It disappointed Aldrich to see her pull back from the question. He'd expected many things to happen next, not a single one of them equating to an unnatural chorus of laughter.
Her cackles echoed about the forest. Maybe it scared the animals that treated her like a princess, or maybe it didn't. He didn't know.
And he didn't want to care.
“Let's just say a friend saw you as a threat, and I humored them by keeping Mephisto's eyes on you.” Thinking over it, Victoria shook her head. “In retrospect, I can understand the uncomfortable undertones of stalking someone, even if they were watching you back.”
“Admittedly, however… you've instead brought on an interest for me to take apart until every meticulous detail is truly understood.”
“... I do not quite follow.” He did. He absolutely did, and it thrilled him more than it should have, and he wanted nothing more but to hear it from her lips.
Victoria could read that bluff from a mile away. Why she didn't address that, Aldrich didn't understand. He much rather focused on what she said next.
“What I mean… is that I find you interesting, your highness.” Your highness, a silent scoff left her. Unfit for a man so cruel, and twisted. And yet…
“You're a twisted, broken mess. One doomed of disrepair with no one befitting enough of your standards to give you peace.”
The words pierced at his heart. But then… “Unfortunately, I suppose I am equally irredeemable.”
One hand, the one that wasn't resting above his head, intertwined with the limp hand hanging by his side. She smiled at him, and for once, he knew it was sincere.
His eyes flickered from different directions, all trying to pull at his puppet strings and direct his attention onto them.
The moonless sky, the stars that danced over it.
The shadow it cast over Victoria's form; her eyes, sapphires deeper than the abyss of the first water, shining brighter than starlight.
He only had one thought, then. Beautiful as the moon.
A moon that wasn't there to guard either of them. And never will.
“Because a part of me is as cruel, and broken, and imperfect as you are. And if you'll have me… we can both be broken together.”

Administrative Roles and Challenges
Thakur's administrative journey in cricket reached its zenith when he became the BCCI president in May 2016. His tenure, however, was cut short in January 2017 by a Supreme Court order due to issues related to compliance with court directives and providing false testimony. Despite the setback, Thakur's contributions to cricket administration were significant, particularly in navigating the legal challenges surrounding the ownership of the International Cricket Stadium in Dharamshala.
Political Career
Entry into Politics
Anurag Thakur's political career commenced in 2008 when he won a byelection to the 14th Lok Sabha, defeating Congress Party candidate O.P. Rattan with a substantial margin of 174,666 votes. This victory marked the beginning of a long and successful political journey.

This achievement highlighted his dedication to national service and added another dimension to his multifaceted career.
Personal Life
Anurag Thakur married Shefali Thakur on November 27, 2002. Shefali is the daughter of Gulab Singh Thakur, a former minister in the Himachal Pradesh government. Thakur's family background and personal life have been supportive pillars in his illustrious career.
Awards and Recognitions
Thakur's contributions have been recognized with several awards. In 2011, he was honored with the Best Young Parliamentarian Award, acknowledging his dynamic role as one of India's youngest parliamentarians. In 2019, he received the Sansad Ratna Award for his exceptional work during the 16th Lok Sabha term.
Controversies and Statements

Additionally, his interaction with the media has sometimes been contentious, notably on March 1, 2020, when he accused the media of misinformation regarding certain issues.

『 Dearest Zenith 』
Tumblr media
†•°•══════ஓ๑♝๑ஓ══════•°•†
◊ — The following is a recording of Zenith Devi and Headmaster Dire Crowley of Night Raven College, regarding Zenith's life before attending Royal Sword Academy — and transferring to Night Raven.
◊ Recorded by Dire Crowley
◊ The recording has been stored within the Night Raven College archives.
❥-҉-༄༝ㅤ・ㅤ˚ㅤ。ㅤ.ㅤ⋆ 【♝】
『 Recording Begins 』
“You asked to see me, Headmaster?”
“Yes,” Crowley nodded his head, gesturing to the empty seat across his desk. “Do have a seat, Mr. Devi.”
And so he did. “So,” Zenith's voice sounded about as cheerful as his unmoving smile. “Why'd you ask to see me? I'm pretty sure it isn't because I just transferred here.”
The Headmaster let out a breath. “You are correct,” leaning back against his chair, Crowley crossed his arms. “I'm here to ask about your background.”
Oh?
That got a snort out of Zenith. “My background? Why?” his smile remained, never fading no matter the atmosphere, no matter the situation.
Crowley didn't take kindly to such a situation being treated so casually. “Because,” Crowley began. “There seems to be no information regarding your background in your school file.”
“Don't you think that's a bit strange?”
The smile on Zenith's face faltered, but soon returned. “Strange, indeed!” he agreed. “Am I correct in assuming that I'm here to interrogate me, headmaster?”
Crowley nodded. “You are correct.”
Zenith took note of the hidden camera in the voice recorder but did not comment on it. He knew Crowley's suspicions and took them in stride.
“When were you born, Mr. Devi?”
That was a softball question, Zen thought. “February 24th, sir.”
Crowley continued. “And you were born in Rose Queendom soil…”
Zen's smile remained but twisted into something more tight-lipped. “Yes,” he leaned against his chair, continuing, “In the countryside. Nobility.”
Crowley arched his brow but said nothing about that.
“I've heard from Miss Shard that you and her are childhood friends.”
Zen's smile softened, reaching up to his eyes, crinkling. “Indeed we are,” he nodded, his demeanor calm. “We met during her fifth birthday.”
“I see,” Crowley didn't stop. Not yet. “What were the names of your parents?”
“Caelus and Ekta Devi,” Zenith answered. If he was disturbed by the way Crowley asked him these questions, he didn't show it.
“And were your parents in attendance during Miss Shard's birthday?”
“Not exactly.”
“And why is that?”
“Father was busy tending to his affairs,” Zen drawled, “And Mother…. Well, I can't say much about Mother.”
The headmaster's eyes narrowed, behind that crow-shaped mask. “What kind of relationship did you have with her?”
“She was lovely,” Zen looked off to the side, his tone vague. “But she died when I was six.”
“My condolences,” Crowley said quickly. “But do continue.”
Zen's smile turned crooked, and it didn't quite reach his eyes, this time around. “Fire away with the questions, then.”
“How did your Mother die, if that topic isn't too sensitive.”
“Natural causes. Fatal illness, died on Valentine's day.”
Perplexed, Crowley leaned back into his seat, arms crossed. “Is that so? Quite the bewildering predicament that must've been.”
“Very much so,” Zen confirmed. “I miss her dearly.”
If you do, Crowley couldn't help but ponder. Then why be so vague?
“Is that all the questions you have to ask, headmaster Crowley?” Zenith's smile faded, beginning to stand from his seat. “Me and Tori are going flower picking off campus.”
He paused. Then continued.
“If you so allow us, of course,” he tilted his head innocently. “For you are so gracious, are you not?”
Crowley's jaw clenched, sending a look of warning from behind his mask.
“You may.”
Zenith hummed in satisfaction, his hands behind his back. “Wonderful!” He declared, turning his back on Crowley and walking to the doors of his office — seemingly opening for him in one swift motion.
“Thank you for your time, headmaster Crowley,” a condescending tonality was laced between Zenith's lips. “Truly.”
The doors closed behind him, leaving Crowley alone. Isolated.
『 Recording Ends 』
†•°•══════ஓ๑♝๑ஓ══════•°•†
「✥」 Information regarding Zenith Devi post-interview with the Headmaster
◊ His school file had been updated, as before the interview, his date of birth was unknown — even to his previous headmaster, Ambrose the 63rd.
◊ There are no official records of a noble family known as ‘The Devis’ living in the Queendom of Roses’ countryside.
↳ This could be an oversight on the part of Crowley's research but that remains unseen.
◊ There are also no official records, historical or word of mouth, of any nobles with the names Caelus or Ekta Devi.
◊ Dire Crowley had an interview with Victoria Shard shortly after Zenith's interview, so as to confirm that he was in attendance during her fifth birthday.
↳ And although he was in attendance, Miss Shard had informed him that — apparently — there was no one with a name like his on the guest list.
◊ Headmaster Crowley believes it best to keep an eye on Zenith Devi until further notice of any ‘conspicuous’ behavior on his end.

Old scrapped concept of Ephrel, the dokkalfarian summoner.
Ephrel might have some tweaks done to their hair shape eventually, but otherwise, they were mostly as I hoped they'd be, especially given the context. In general, I wanted to strike more of a balance between how closely they resembled one of the possibly-generated Robinsonas in Awakening, but also have somewhat of a strong resemblance to Robin and Sparrow respectively, further going with the idea of what drew Chrom to the two (their similar looks). Otherwise, I was definitely planning on redesigning their clothes completely, where this was originally one of many ideas on open-back clothes with neutral tones to them that I'm still not entirely satisfied of.
I also did eventually want to draw their fully realized state as Spectabilis at some point too.
Character details under the cut.
---
Having been a summoner prior to Chrom and Sparrow, Ephrel was eventually succeeded (unknowingly) by Chrom, who later then became more officially succeeded by Sparrow as summoner. Having came from a world heavily tied with the Digital World, Ephrel would've originally been teleported to Zenith through Breidablik's power as their chosen. But right before they could be taken, Eitri among other forces from the Digital World all tried to intercept Breidablik at the same time, only to all simultaneously fail to retrieve the weapon, but in the process, heavily impacted Ephrel into an unstable, in-between state of existence. A part of them became a robinsona-esque being dumped into a World of Awakening, where they completely replaced Robin's role and went on to befriend and assist Chrom as their tactician. In this state, Chrom heavily bonded to, and fell in love with this version of Ephrel, whom they initially identified as 'Robin' as a name Chrom gave them in their memory-scrambled state, but would later reveal to him in private their actual name as 'Ephrel' when they had enough time to process and remember. In a desperate attempt to try to go after Ephrel in this state when their physical body became lost and distorted in their home world, and Breidablik itself displaced with them, it completely threw this World of Awakening off the rails of the original destiny laid out for Chrom, ultimately leading to Ephrel gaining forewarning of their fate to betray and kill Chrom, only for Ephrel to die to protect him instead, all while the fate of all Chrom knew were killed in ways neither could prevent, leaving Chrom as the sole survivor of his world.
Their death as a robinsona had the adverse effect of heavily corrupting what remained as a digital "echo" of their state as a robinsona (often dubbed "Mirage Robin" or "Digi-Grima"), which led to a rogue ghost of this robinsona-Ephrel wandering lost, confused, and in an unstable state of constantly seeking Chrom, but not having the "programming" to retain full self-awareness of themself or their surroundings (there's a few times they even technically found Chrom, but were so broken they couldn't realize and process it). Their fragile mental state when forcefully mashing the pieces of both Ephrel's actual persona, yet Robin's scripted fate as Grima's vessel, led to a very unstable "Grima" whose obsession heavily betrays the actual Grima, only wishing to seek Chrom and regain his love and approval again. At the same time, the actual Ephrel was restabilized, and Breidablik resurfaced once more, but in lingering mental corruption from their split displacement, Ephrel, in a psychotic break, completely disregarded their role as summoner or an ally of Zenith in favor of returning home in a near daze, only wishing to seek Chrom out at both lingering remains of the damaged state of digi-Grima as well as their confused, mental exhaustion from the sudden split. In their attempt to try and fail to get back to Chrom, the end result let to catastrophic damage in bursting Breidablik's power, sending the weapon to Chrom and displacing him into Zenith, but ultimately killing Ephrel's actual self in the process, along with one of their digimon partners, Leona (a Grappu Leomon, eventually reborn as Hina, who eventually was fully realized as Leopardmon. She came full circle.). Before Hel could get to them, Freyja, having witnessed Ephrel from the start of their intense wish to reunite with Chrom, stole them instead to force-feed them her nectar just before Ephrel's soul would've given in, causing them instead to be reborn as the dokkalfar Spectabilis and join her for a time as their right hand. Though they were eventually drawn by Robin's deep-seated insecurities and desperate dreams for a normal life with his found-family, this led to a domino effect of being sought out by Robin with Chrom and co, and piecing back together the memories they broke from all their intense stress and trauma, eventually finally reuniting Ephrel and Chrom in full.
As Spectabilis, Ephrel is regarded as the Dokkalfar of Longing Dreams, whose focus are on dreams that are the strongest wishes from the heart that the person whose source of the dream thinks is impossible to achieve, whether or not it truly is. Due to the ambiguous nature of their nightmares, Spectabilis maintained a neutral approach to dreams, rather than be inclined to cause the greatest negativity in a victim like Triandra and Plumeria initially do, being ambiguously inspiring in reminding a subject that the impossibilities are entirely on them and their ideals. Two instances they brought up such is recognizing Robin's impossible wish was to live a normal, peaceful life with his newfound family and lovers after hailing from a background of grief, misery and uncertainty, or Lyon's wish to reconcile with Eirika and Ephraim among their other party, but his deep-seated fear to ever actually face them, despite their expressed interest to speak to him. Despite being dismissed and antagonized by Peony for being a dokkalfar and misinterpreting the nature of their dreams, Spectabilis maintained a neutral opinion of all alfrs, including the ljolsalfar, and they eventually befriended Peony and Mirabilis throughout the events of Book IV. Freyja initially trusted and looked up heavily to Spectabilis and their advice in recognizing their inherent maturity from having been turned into an alfr as an adult (rather than as children like the other alfrs), which wound up deeply upsetting her when Chrom "stole" them from her, only for Spectabilis to be a key part in stopping Freyja's nightmare onslaughts and calming her and Freyr into surrendering. Despite recognizing Freyja's negative aspects and their supports' (especially Chrom's) justifiable misgivings to her in particular, they still hold some regard of respect for her enough to protect her and Freyr's life over the course of Book IV and reconciling with Freyja in her defeat, despite them having a tentative, distant relationship in caretaking for the other alfrs while having otherwise parted ways with the siblings, give or take minor visits. In her absense, Ephrel retained the role they served as an older sibling figure to the alfrs, but especially in helping Triandra and Plumeria better process their past traumas and struggles in transitioning to normal lives again in Askr.
As Ephrel, while they eventually gained the ability to regain their original form as a human through Eclair's stones and Lyon's heavy research in inventing a fae stone with it, the side-effect to this unusual craft led to them still retaining the unusual pigments of their hair color as Spectabilis (minus the floral details), an issue Ephrel never cared enough to fix, and thought it was neat enough to keep. They held a very lax, calm, "going with the flow" attitude that led them also to hold very little interest in reclaiming their role as summoner from under Sparrow, and in fact holding pride in both her and Chrom while engaging more to help them or guide them when needed. Instead of take back Breidablik, they primarily use their weapon, the Flower of Fate, still leftover from their time as Spectabilis that they could still call upon on a whim. When combined with Breidablik, however, it can turn into the unusual, unique digimental of Fate, fulfilling the role that Sparrow was originally exploited and tricked by of the original crest of Grimeal. Even after their time under Freyja, they still regularly use their powers of dreams and sleep-based powers to otherwise support and help others through complicated thought processes and issues, and have otherwise rekindled their partnership with their surviving digimon partners, Angie and Devi while realizing their lost partner Leona was reincarnated into Hina. This assistance with dream-based advice and focus eventually influenced other alfrs, in particular Triandra and Plumeria, who shifted their own powers to more neutral focuses between clarity and love in general. Though their eventual daughter in Lilium (a ljolsalfarian Lucina) eventually yielded another Flower of Fate, their flower and Lilium's are composed of very different flowers, likely sharing the same loan name due to Lilum being naturally born as an alfr, rather than be converted to such by Freyja or Freyr.

How does one really understand Raas Leela?
There a Bollywood song, which goes like this:
Tumblr media
The protagonist affirms that women are the most powerful intoxicants. He observes that everyone he knows indulges in this intoxication, with multiple partners. He is frustrated that when others do it, it is called Raas Leela. However, when he does it, he is said to be of loose moral character. This naughty, rebellious song has always brought a smile on my lips.
Recently, I saw the below picture and was reminded of that song and its lyrics...
Tumblr media
My big question is: How does one understand (and explain) the Madhurya bhava in Raas in today's context?
I think, one cannot even begin to understand esoteric Hindu concepts like the Raas, the erotic temple architecture of Khajuraho and Konark, or even the magnanimity of the art and science of Kamasutra, unless one recognizes the following:
1. The Hindu way of life gives a great deal of importance to the physicality or material aspect of life. In fact, the four pillars of Purushatha (the essence of human life) are - Dharma (conduct), Artha (material wealth), Kama (desire) and Moksha (liberation).
Sanatana Dharma, in no way, de-emphasizes individual aspiration or desires for material well-being.
2. Having said that, Sanatana Dharma recognizes that physicality is just a small aspect of the entire experience of human life. In fact, when a human being makes a conscious attempt to transcend physicality, numerous other dimensions of life explode. These supra-physical dimensions have the capability to bridge the gap between human and divine.
In fact, the more a human transcends the physical (not avoids it, but fully experiences it and then transcends it), the closer he gets to divine.
I recall reading somewhere a legend that goes like this - Lord Shiva, the alpha male, after an intense love making session with Goddess Parvati, who has just experienced the zenith of erotic pleasure, tells her, "O Devi! What you think is the height of pleasure is not even a tickle for me. Because, when I close my eyes and meditate, the bliss that I experience cannot be explained nor can it be compared to any orgasm my body experiences."
With this backdrop, let's understand Raas Leela!
Tumblr media
Raas = Ras = Juicy = Pleasure = Madhurya bhava
Leela = Divine activity
Raas Leela = Divine pleasure - Lord Krishna's divine, playful, pleasurable dancing and singing with his devotees, Gopis.
Raas Leela begins when Krishna plays his flute on a moonlit night, the soft music wafts through the pastures of Vrindavan and reaches the Gopis. The night is perfect – flowers bloom in the full moon, and gentle, cool breeze blows from the banks of Yamuna.
Tumblr media
The tune attracts the Gopis, their passion surged and as if in trance, they run to meet their beloved Kanhaiya leaving all their fears, bondages, patience and shyness behind. Some of them are intercepted by their husbands, brothers and fathers and dragged back to home. But only their physical bodies stay put, their souls reach Krishna.
Krishna, the ultimate Yogi, uses Yogmaya to replicate himself to as many physical forms as there are his devotees and becomes one with each of them - in all ways - least of all physical! Because these Gopikas have completely and unconditionally surrendered themselves to him.
How do the Gopika-devotees feel when this divine union happens with their beloved? It is impossible to express that feeling on paper. It can only be experienced. Have you ever sat by yourself and felt untold love, gratitude or devotion for anything or anybody? Can you recollect that feeling in your heart? That sweet and painful feeling in your heart? Now multiply it a trillion times. That's how the Gopis must have felt that night. That's the best I can do to articulate Madhurya bhava.
At that time, their physical bodies were the last thing the Gopis must have been concerned with. They were on the verge of liberation from their physicality!!!
Now, who were these Gopis and what had they done to deserve the Lord's grace?
Lore has it that during Treta Yuga, when Lord Rama was exiled to forest for 14 years, he met many saints, sages and Tapasvis, but he was unable to spend ample time with all of them. Saddened, these sages pleaded with Lord Rama to spend more time with them. Lord Rama promised that one day he will, but not in this lifetime.
Tumblr media
These sages died and took rebirths after rebirths and performed tapasya for yugas. Finally, in Dwaparyuga, they were reborn as Gopis and became devotees of Lord Krishna.
Raasa Leela was the Lord's way of fulfilling his promise, by showering his infinite grace on his devotees and making them one with him.

*slides in looking like an agent from the matrix* How would your ocs feel about Zenith Devi? Particularly about his friendship with miss beautiful noble lady fae-
Oh! Hello once again! Hehe Sure! >:D
kinda needs to include the regal glass fae here soooo- interactions coming up!
Zenith and Victoria with Jiyoon and UiO!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nice way to ruin moments UiO, ah Jiyoon's poor books...
Its a huge surprise to see the regal fae smiling
Hello pretty boy, are you by chance the reason Victoria-nim smiled?
Well if you are, can you teach UiO your ways? :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They 100% get along with the Malleus x Victoria going on
She's not surprised that there's someone who can put a smile on Victoria's face however she's surprise of how easy he can pull it off!
Hey! Hey! Tell her many things about what you know about Victoria!~ And you too heh..
UiO is in bliss seeing another fae inspiration, they seem to be a very dear friend of Victoria-nim, Oh! What a curious thing to ask about! UiO has so much questions for their friendship.
He won't mind if she ask more questions about them right?~
Zenith can and will probably join UiO in chaos, especially if the two hears people badmouthing Victoria.
Ah, they definitely will become a hurricane of headaches together
Jiyoon can tell two things, one, they're somewhat related to a nymph and very close to Victoria, two, they're a beautiful type of nymph, another trustworthy person in her book.
Tumblr media
She'll treat him with so much respect as much as she respects Victoria.
Though, she's curious, who is Zenith in Victoria's life? They seem close, are they close friends or relatives?
A big impact that's for sure.
Jiyoon is straight up formal, though interest will sometimes make her follow her instinct to converse.
They're interesting, how amazing.
She's going to be truthful if Zenith ever asks her what she thinks of Victoria and... praise her along the way- platonic simping?
Zenith and Victoria with Aori and Miren (err kind of?)!
Tumblr media
Victori's friend is also my friend!
Aori is ecstatic to know more about Zenith! Hehe, yay! More fae friends!
Wow... He can make Victori smile so easily, he's super amazed!
Does that mean if he hangs around Zenith he can see more of Victori's rare beautiful smile? Yay! :D
Tumblr media
Zenith is quite an enigma for Aori, he's like UiO but at the same time, Miren?
he's not really bothered but it makes him wonder. Zenith's not like Sonya, a very confusing type of fae but if Victoria trusts him, then Aori trusts him!
Zenith's definitely teaching him some stuff, certainly answering some of Aori's interest, can you teach him how to make Victoria happy too?
Oh, he's also calling him Zeny!
Zenith is not to be trusted with Aori-
Mirens...
Tumblr media
Oh don't get him wrong, he doesn't have any problem with Zenith, its just that... he's a fae.
Victoria, Sebek and Malleus are enough, no more fae 'new friends' things please.
Hoh boy, I can see them having a bad start, a misunderstanding forming until Miren explains the very reason he fears faes.

Non-verbal Thoughts
╚══ஓ๑†๑ஓ══╝
「 General Thoughts 」
˚₊· ͟͟͞➳❥ Victoria doesn't know what to think of him. Zen thinks Flynn is ‘swell’!
➜ Victoria and Flynn are both hard to read, especially the former, what with her constantly blank cold-hearted stare. Any interaction they have is bound to become a game of who can read the other better.
➜ Zen…. Doesn't think Flynn is all that special. In some ways, yes, Flynn has his charms! But Zen doesn't think much of him.
➜ Flirting is something Flynn indulges in when it comes to Victoria. And at every moment, she rejects his advances. It makes for great entertainment on Zen's end, though!
➜ The only reason Zen seems to think he's more than tolerable is because Flynn's a theater kid, and theater kids make for great entertainment /j
➜ Victoria can at least tolerate Flynn's sense of fashion. She can respect a man/woman who can dress decently enough.
↳ Coordinating outfits becomes a thing for them once they get closer. Zen teases her about it.
➜ Zen tends to sit back and watch as Flynn steals the show. Can't really blame him, you need to get some form of amusement somewhere.
➜ Victoria has a distaste for Flynn's like of gambling. Maybe it has to do with the fact her aunt is a gambler, but it does bring a sour taste in her mouth.
➜ Flynn likes calling Victoria ‘Alexandrite’. As long as it gets him to mind his business, Vic doesn't try to stop him from using that nickname.
↳ Zen thinks that nickname is adorably fitting for his best friend!
➜ Zen wants to know how Flynn would react if Victoria stomped on him with her high heels /j /j
➜ One thing about Flynn that Victoria and Zen can agree on is that he's… Interesting. And they wish to know more.
↳ Never a good thing. When Victoria's ambition is high on something, it'll take an act of God to stop her from satisfying that ambition.
༝ㅤ・ㅤ˚ㅤ。ㅤ.ㅤ⋆ㅤ「❃」
「 Interactions 」
❐ …. Honestly, no idea how these three even met 💀
➜ Zen had to fight the urge to snort when he heard Flynn was called ‘the ten-faced devil’. He isn't one to question it, though!
➜ Victoria definitely started overanalyzing everything about Flynn, when they first interacted. She sees everyone around her as a potential threat/ally/tool, and Flynn was no different from everyone else.
➜ It basically became a game of…. An incredibly high-quality game of chess between Victoria and Flynn, every time they crossed paths. Always trying to read each other, trying to see what was behind the other's mask.
➜ She isn't going to admit it, but Vic thinks Flynn's dependency on good luck charms is a bit endearing. No one knows this, but she's probably sent him a charm she made for him.
➜ As mentioned before, Flynn's flirting with Victoria tends to be a common occurrence. Unfortunately for Flynn, any chances of her reciprocating his advances are less than 0.
➜ Zen wants to know more about Flynn's unique magic! But he isn't gonna bother asking Flynn to elaborate on it, of course not! That would just be boring!
➜ Victoria's probably seen him fly around NRC to carefully watch her and the other students. She's also probably called him creepy for it.
➜ Zen never tries to get on Flynn's good side. In fact, he wants to see how far he can go until he's on his bad side!!
↳ Zen, honey, I love you…. But no 💀
➜ Victoria is rarely impressed with Flynn. The few times she is are moments Flynn secretly treasures.

And then when they try it again he doesn't get struck down UNTIL he leaves, disappointed
Low-key imagining Zenith just aggressively staring at the sky and saying "STRIKE ME DOWN ZEUS, YOU DON'T HAVE THE BALLS-"
And actually gets struck by lightning. And somehow lives.
So- What's Mika's reaction to that-
SHDBSJ PLEASE THAT VIDEO IS SO FUNNY
Mika's recording 1000%, probably encouraged it beforehand. After Zenith recovers they're gonna ask how it felt and if they can try it again.
