Zeraora is an Electric-Type Mythical Pokemon in the Alolan region.
It is known to be elusive to humans as poachers have harmed its trust towards humans.
Due to this I feel Zeraora would take a long time to be used to you.
This Pokemon isn't under your command.
You may not even catch this Zeraora.
You meet this Pokemon by chance, fate allowed you to view this Pokemon on one of the many islands of Alola.
To meet a Mythical Pokemon, you'd have to have the right circumstances.
So maybe you meet Zeraora through saving it, or it saving you.
Such an action makes one of you indebted to the other.
Which eventually makes Zeraora curious and attached to you.
Zeraora is fast, always managing to stay out of sight.
But maybe poachers find the beast again... or maybe you are attacked by a wild Pokemon....
Either way... when you first meet with the Pokemon, the area crackles with the smell of ozone.
The Thunderclap Pokemon is surprised when it meets you.
You seem so kind... never trying to hunt the Mythical Pokemon unlike most poachers.
While originally not paying you much mind, Zeraora never takes its gaze off you.
Somehow it wishes to protect you, either because it feels it owes you or worries for you.
In a way you've made a friend out of the Pokemon and haven't figured it out yet.
Zeraora doesn't trust many humans.
But the Mythical Pokemon can tell how much your own Pokemon adore you.
You're no threat... you're no hunter... you're a friend.
So Zeraora becomes your guardian.
This Pokemon is overprotective of you due to what it's been through.
It expects other humans or Pokemon to hurt you... leaving it to feeling aggressive towards others.
While out of your sight most of the time, Zeraora is never far.
You can tell it's been around due to the smell of ozone.
Imagine if a wild Pokemon or person hurt you... then the next day they're struck down by electricity.
Zeraora doesn't care if what it's doing is wrong.
It's seen what humanity can do.
Compared to that... it doesn't think "protecting you" is wrong.
So, it wants to protect the one kind human it knows.
Soon you may even be able to meet with the Mythical Pokemon more often.
The Thunderclap Pokemon does care for you a lot.
To the point it'll use its abilities for more... devious acts to protect you.
The more Pokemon/People are attacked by lightning around you... the more you wonder if Zeraora is behind it.
Yet the Pokemon only smiles with a growl, meeting you in private with a friendly gaze.
Even if you found out... that wouldn't make Zeraora go away.
The Pokemon is convinced that it needs to protect you.
If you don't want it around anymore... then it gets concerned... worried... scared.
Zeraora will protect you one way or another...
Be that making deaths look like an accident... or by taking you away into one of Alola's many jungles.
