• @zerowastevictoria Sustainable Fashion – is it possible? - 3:00pm in The Edge, Fed Square - Saturday 17 September. Redressing the future of Fashion. Trying to shop sustainably is not always easy in a world dominated by ‘fast fashion’. Learn where you can start, what you can do, and hear from some inspiring individuals who are shifting the fashion paradigm. Hear from  * Aife Oloughlin, @salvosstores, Customer Experience Manager * Patricia McCarthy-Henry,  Educator at RMIT and Knitwear Designer at @pmaxi_knit * Ben Kaminsky, @textile.recycling * Nat Stratos, Circular Design Practitioner and Consultant * Katrina Naish, @afittingconnection (panel moderator) Entry to the Zero Waste Festival is free. • @zerowastevictoria Stitch It, Don’t Ditch It at the Zero Waste Festival - Saturday 17 September at Fed Square.   This year we will be holding a Mending Circle showing how mending items is a great activity to undertake. The theme will be ’Stitch It, Don’t Ditch It’ following the success of events around the globe.   Come along to our circle between 10am - 4pm, take a seat and join in for a chat or mend. We will have menders repairing their own items who are also happy to discuss mending with attendees of any age. If you bring items they will help show how to mend them. We aim to show how easy mending is to do yourself.  Entry to the Zero Waste Festival is free. Book in to register your interest for the Festival via the link in our bio and be kept informed about our program.
