Garlic Herb Bread⬇️ This recipe makes one loaf of bread. What is needed⬇️ 2 and 1/2 Cups Plain Flour 1 cup Iukewarm milk 2 teaspoons instant yeast/dry active yeat 1/2 cup(125ml)butter softened 1/4 cup sugar(use less if needed) 1 egg 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon garlic powder/2chopped cloves 1/2 teaspoon parsley 1/2 teaspoon basil(optional) 1/2 teaspoon thyme(optional) Garlic butter; 1/2-1 tablespoon butter melted 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley How it's done ⬇️ In a large bowl, whisk together milk and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until bubbly(foams) - this is how you know your yeast is working.(if using instant yeast just mix it with other dry ingredients) Add butter, sugar, eggs, salt, garlic powder, parsley, basil and thyme and mix with whisk until eggs are beaten (butter may still be a little chunky, and that's okay). Add the flour gradually, one cup at a time, and mix with your hands. Add just enough so that the dough is smooth but slightly sticky. Place in a greased bowl and turn to coat the ball of dough. Cover with plastic wrap or a clean towel and set in a warm place to rise for 60 minutes or more until doubled, or put dough in refrigerator to rise overnight Lightly grease a pan and roll dough . Place in pan and cover to let rise for about 30 minutes, until doubled again. Meanwhile, heat oven to 180 degrees Bake for 22-25 minutes, until medium golden brown. Garlic butter: Stir together melted butter, garlic powder and parsley and brush over rolls if desired.
