Spoilers to anyone reading Kobato *just me talking

I'm not really attached to this series, but its not something I regret reading... the ending did seem kind of rushed, but its okay, they were working on other things at the same time (I think)

So... I was reading the last volume of Kobato... and omg I was like CLAMP please don't do this. Don't do what I think you're gonna do. (If you've read any of CLAMP's stuff, you'll know it either has a sad ending, inconclusive-ish ending, or I guess, a happy ending etc etc)

And in Kobato it was on the verge of being sad.

So, basically when Kobato found her wish I was like oh crap is she gonna die. She's gonna die huh. Please don't let her die. Fujimoto never got to tell her his feelings eitherrr. What's gonna happen to the angel and Iorogi

But of course she dies. And they make freakin Fujimoto cry and he goes *I went to get the manga volume so I could get the exact phrase* "But I just got the feeling that I'm missing something. That I lost something extremely precious" asdfg I have to throw in here, that I love the translations for all of CLAMP's stuff. Whoevers on the translation team does a wonderful job, word choice and flow is beautiful ;A;

And here I am going well good gosh they all got their memory of her taken away nooo (but theres no way they couldve kept it, so I expected it, but still) *sigh*

and then the final chapter I'm like, no, nothing they do can fix this...but they did! kinda. Clamp gave them a "happily-ever-after" ending after all... I didn't know she'd be reborn again... and they let her have her memories of her previous life!! That was neat. While going through the Kobato tag I saw a lot of people commenting on the anime. Guess I'll watch that later...

Plus, they gave a "happily-ever-after" to Iorogi and Suishou, too. Iorogi's way of speaking to her at the end was so cheesy though >__< shows what kind of guy he is really well though... feel like re-reading xxxholic now, but its too long
