That’s what makes bpd suck so much is I’m never sure if I did something that was really me or if I did something that was my disorder and was my reaction to someone, the thing I said back, was I communicating? Or, was I manipulating and controlling? Was I making something about me or was I participating in an interaction that I was 50% of. The only way I can be sure I’m okay is if I wasn’t feeling anything at all. As soon as I’m feeling I’m in the realm of my disorder

I’ve been playing the sims forever but recently as of yesterday downloaded CC’s. And I’m going to try downloading mods next. What are the best mods to have and where to download from ? And, also I see they need to be updated from time to time. How do I know when it needs the updated and how to do so? I just need help I’m totally clueless when it comes to this stuff.

Ah welcome to the wondrous world of custom content! So as for me, I like quality of life mods a lot + a few more to add more to my gameplay! I use the following:

As for updating them, in general you should make sure they are updated after a patch has dropped (aka when your game updates) and most of the time there is a list compiled on simsvip! (You can also just type in ‘broken mods list’ in google and check to see if the date corresponds to the current patch.) In general it doesn’t take more than a few days for modders to update their mods because they sure do work their magic; until then it’s best to remove them from your mods folder so it doesn’t mess with your game!

*I recommend having a seperate folder in your mods folder called MCCC so you can easily adjust files when needed and you don’t accidentally remove a file. I also have a seperate folder called MODS where I put in everything I listed, so I can easily check what I need to update when I check the broken mods list, and don’t have to search through hundreds (or thousands in my case) files!

Also I recommend modthesims if you want to find more mods to use, and tumblr in general! I also like to watch youtubers do ‘must have mods’ vids! I hope this is somewhat helpful, otherwise be sure to send me a follow up ask or DM me privately off-anon! :)
