Lately I've been getting back into one of my older special interests which is a video game that is packed with like every depraved ecchi isekai harem anime trope (because teenage me dgaf, current me also is returning to dgaf) and looking at some of the newer fans I'm like.. surprised it managed to get That kind of audience.. I'm just, how did you get here? Are you lost? I feel like you doomed yourself to seeing content you don't like the moment you stepped into the fanbase of a game whose target demographic are people unironically like panty shots and body pillow wives.

*Putting on my "I'm sorry gay people" hat* A lot of times I find myself preferring fandoms dominated by adult cishet men who unapologetically like transgressive eroge and have been nerds since the early 2000's than ones that have been flooded with tiktok-brained kids who will say this one gacha game character is gay-coded and brother-coded with this other character and disagreeing deserves doxxing and callout posts. gay btw.
