Wilbur didn’t say anything back, even as the tears poured down his little brother’s eyes and onto the snow.

He could feel his own eyes start to dampen, but before he could open his mouth Tommy turned his back.

“I don’t forgive you, I never will; but if you’re ever going to come close to making it up to me then you have to live with the shitty thing you did and remember all the pain I had to suffer under your hands, maybe you’ll see that a “sorry” just isn’t enough.”

Tommy started to trudge away solemnly, but Wilbur ran forward and asked, “Where do I start? How can I ever begin to be your brother again?” Tommy looked back at the word ‘brother,’ “Start by getting it into your thick skull, Dream isn’t a hero. He never was and never will be! He tore me into shreds, and forcefully stitched the dead pieces back together! So if you wanna call me Brother, then act like it you selfish asshole!”

Wilbur tried to say something, but Tommy stopped and cut him off. “Don’t you have anything better to do?” Then continued walking away, leaving Wilbur misty-eyed and feeling like the worst person in the world.
