why didn’t white collar give us more on clinton jones. I want an episode in the revival that’s a day in the life of clinton jones. minding his business and staying in his lane while all this caffrey bullshit goes on like “hey he’s a good guy to share a drink with but i’m not getting involved in all that.” or it turns out clinton is living in a very different genre. what genre? well i don’t know because we know basically NOTHING ABOUT HIM! star crossed romance? maybe he’s secretly a CIA plant. he could save puppies from burning buildings in his free time. i bet there’s some elderly widow or widower in his building whose decided they’ve adopted him and berates him for working too hard and makes him come over to change the lightbulbs or fix the leaky faucet. all buck and eddie really need to do is ask themselves "why does telling you how i feel about you feel like an admission of something?" and the answer is "because it is" like both of them on some level recognise that the love they feel for each other is different than the love they feel for anyone else. beyond best friends. beyond platonic. because if it wasn’t it wouldn’t feel like this. it wouldn’t feel like an admission. like a confession. telling your best friend you will miss them should not feel like a confession. so why does it?
