A commission I recently finished!

Still haven't found the time/energy to finish this portrait, but I really wanna get around to it. This is my current D&D character - Riordan, the Aasimar Bard!

"Sethmek Selemchant was born in Thay, the result of a relationship between Red Wizard Velie Dothan and Amnian noble Aerion Selemchant, who had been enslaved in Thay. He was secretly raised by his father, who gave him a clandestine arcane education.

After a campaign full of adventure, Sethmek founds Irthos Arcanis, a prestigious academy in Monluthan dedicated to arcane magic, diplomacy, and innovation.

Receiving a direct blessing from Bahamut, who recognizes Sethmek’s desire for redemption, he sees his lineage transform, becoming that of a Divine Soul.

He becomes a key magical and intellectual adversary to Thay, maintaining tense contact with rivals such as Szass Tam.

Though his past is marked by slavery, dark bargains, and betrayal, his magic now flows from a sacred source: Bahamut himself."

Been very busy lately, my apologies for the radio silence! Here's a new character art to freshen up, a commission I finished recently!

"Paulie, found as a baby goblin and adopted by a party member, who asked the god of strength to protect him. This led to Paulie growing unnaturally tall, accompanied with him experiencing disassociations."

Another D&D commission!

I always love being commissioned to paint a moody portrait, so this was a real treat for me!

"Ilyrion Umbranis is an ancient sorcerer from before the Calamity, born in the Celestial Weave Epoch—a time when divine and arcane energies were still intertwined.

Once a prodigy destined to uplift mortals, he turned against the gods, believing their grip on magic stifled true progress.

Now, with the aid of Zehir, god of poisons and shadows and his cabal of most capable spellcasters, Ilyrion seeks to unleash a new arcane weave, one far beyond the limits of known magic—reviving the lost art of Epomancy in its purest, most potent form.

To achieve this, he intends to use the Rune of Death, taken from the corpse of the dead god Viggo, to complete the Ritual of Agathos Ingladorem Aurea—a forbidden rite that will make Zehir the living conduit of the new weave.

The cost? Millions of lives, the unraveling of the current world order, and the birth of an age where magic is no longer bound by divine law.

Finished one more commission and I had a lot of fun with the lighting in this one!

I keep trying to find an interesting balance of color and light that feels appealing and "punchy" without being too chaotic.

Hopefully I'm headed in the right direction!

"Naivara is the Head Archivist at the prestigious College of Valammar, a finishing school for spellcasters from all over the world of Hycanthia. She’s a Wild Magic Sorcerer and Order of the Scribe Wizard, and a high elf who chose to turn on her party in order to pursue greater power."

Another finished commission, and one I'm very happy with. I'm continuously trying to evolve and improve with each new illustration, and I hope that comes across. Here's some backstory on this character:

"Adelaide Halifax, the youngest member of the party, is the second in line to the Throne of the empire. Or was, until her half-aunt with several of the court members staged a coup d'état where Adelaide's mother and older brother were killed and her younger sister and brother were captured. Adelaide and the rest of the party were saved by the captain of the queen's guard.

Adelaide had to learn on the run how to use magic and wield a sword, having been trained by her party members and combining her efforts to be become a bladesinger wizard. Adelaide is a young and unsure woman who prefers to deal with problems directly. For most of her life, she has she was not expected to do much so she got into trouble escaping the castle and running amok. She is a wise cracking and impulsive individual who is a little afraid of responsibility but has learned to embrace the call of duty expected of her."
