Lu Bu pre DW 5 will l always be goated but making him actually (loosely) think rationally at least makes him a good father to Lu Lingqi because if not for that he would make out to be a very bad father , not justifying his actions however

The best female in 8: Xtreme Legends: Lu Lingqi.

First off, her personality actually suits her. The young warrior who "cannot be beaten," unlike Lu Bu whose just full of himself.

I miss when Lu Bu used to be known as a mighty warrior with pure action and not with his "can anyone provide me with a decent challenge?!" lines.

This kind of energy really fits Lu Lingqi though, because she's very young going into battle so of course she's going to be a little ...tough with words and not just actions, you know?

Personally I wish they didn’t turn the series into such a cash grab after 6; because it looses SO MUCH of its identity and character as you get into the territory of the newer games. Especially when you break apart Dynasty Warriors 9; majority of the character interaction in that game is so bland and boring; they just stand around in a circle talking when there could have been more meaningful cutscenes instead, and when there was a meaningful cutscene, it was good the emotion of the characters is well casted in every language that’s available that isn’t English. It’s become such a mundane series now and it’s really sad and unfortunate bc ur right the original 5 are just so good because they still hold the games identity before the games start loosing what made them good. I do however think, some of us that happened to grow up on these games definitely hold nostalgia as a reason we think these games are just simply better; fond memories are created with the old games even if in reality the story telling was sometimes wacky as was the voice acting; but it was much funnier back then. because let’s be honest the quality of story now is nowhere as good as it once was, it’s a shame really. Voice acting is so bad it’s not even worth playing in English anymore. Being a dynasty warriors fan is almost embarrassing nowadays. That’s how I feel, love these ridiculous games to death but I wish they still made them GOOD

I got back into playing Dynasty Warriors 2 recently and wow what a crazy game. While moving to 3, I feel thats when Dynasty Warriors really started to find its footing. It's a huge improvement compared to 2, and with 4, it just hit the ceiling to a whole new level as the best Dynasty Warriors game created. Everything was solid. Appealing graphics, bodyguard system, designs and voices, edit mode, vs mode, one on one duels, etc. The only thing it lacked was story, but it wasn't bad. Although, Dynasty Warriors 5 has best story imo.

What are your guy's thoughts??

I wasted 2 hours of my life to watch that Dynasty Warriors movie so you didn’t have to!

Let’s clear up some things… WHO was in charge of costumes!? WHO let Zhang Fei roll up to battle in a fish net?

Guan Yus beard…plz I saw THREE STRANDS it was a literal disgrace to his NAME

Cao Cao was a twink…which was an…interesting choice.

The story ended after the battle of Hulao Gate and the build up was….to be desired for. There was none…what they fought over some loser no one could beat until Guan Yu killed him like that ?? What was the point.

Sun Jian also was just like not even there which I mean maybe that’s a good thing, save the embarrassment it would have been if he was 💀 plz it was so bad.

And I dunno if it was because of the English dub but the writing was so weak, like the games are fairly weak themselves too, but even they had more of a coherent plot than whatever this TWO HOUR mess was. The whole mystical weapon forest was…so stupid. There was no backstory what so ever I was lucky I already knew most of the characters roles…

It was such a waste for them to not end the movie on Lu Bu killing Dong Zhuo…like…come on…
