A year ago today I got my Sisterlocks installed & I never in a million years would have thought that a year later we’d be having a whole WORLD WIDE BLACK LIVES REVOLUTION‼️ . . ✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿 . . So even before this started I’d limit my scroll time but I was scrolling through social media yesterday & post by post my emotions became unbearable, my chest felt heavy, my spirit ached, but a little voice inside of me kept saying it will all work out!!! & I really believe it WILL!!! . . BUT umm WHEN!!!! Cause it’s taking WAY too long 😩 . . Don’t be afraid or feel guilty to just put your phone down or to turn it off!! Take some time to renew yourself, bond with your family, bond with your friends, and let things unfold as they will regardless!!! Because a lot of people already have all sorts of anxiety, PTSD, and other mental issues so overly exposing yourself to what’s going on isn’t going to make it better. . . It may seem like it but It’s okay, not to be okay. . .
