Whatever [Jamie Campbell Bower's] role may be exactly, it is expected to be a major departure from the monstrous Vecna Bower plays on Stranger Things, something he recently alluded to at a fan convention while bringing up a conversation with his therapist about his post-Stranger Things plans.

“I turned around to him, and I was like, ‘to be honest with you, man, I just don’t think I’ll be doing another bad guy for a minute,’” Bower was quoted as saying. “Like it f—s me up. I’m dead serious.”

Not much is known about Marsan’s character either (code name Dromm) besides the fact that he has a brother. Since the role reportedly required a Scottish accent, the English actor could presumably be playing a dwarf.

I met Jamie Campbell Bower last weekend and I told him some exciting creative news I've had recently, and how he was part of the mix of inspirations that helped me get to this place. He was so sweet and supportive and excited for me, and he completely got it.

Before I left he pulled me into a massive hug and congratulated me again, and as he was holding onto me he said, "You're gonna be amazing."

And honestly. That, from someone I admire so much, said with such warmth and sincerity? I'm going to be replaying that in my head forever.

Essentially: Jamie Campbell Bower is a beautiful human in every way and I hope life always gives him reasons to smile.
