🧵 I’ve been tatting (frivolité) for a while now — it’s quiet, meditative, and surprisingly addictive.
A simple thread turns into lace. Knot by knot.
I know how hard it is to start when every diagram looks confusing and you’re not even sure which shuttle to buy.
So I put together a beginner-friendly guide — just what I wish I had when I started.
It’s a PDF, with photos, slow steps, and a little project at the end.
If you’ve ever wanted to try tatting, this might help.
No pressure — just sharing something I love.

I recently spent an unforgettable week in London. I visited the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and enjoyed evening strolls along the Thames. Culinary experiences ranged from traditional British pubs to diverse international cuisines. Efficient public transportation made traveling comfortable. London captured my heart, and I dream of returning.

Tried making a tatting mirror in a new color – deep blue with silver. It turned out elegant and a bit mysterious ✨ What do you think of this combination?

“A mirror, but make it tatted.”
I handcrafted this mirror using the delicate art of tatting. Lace, beads, and a touch of patience turned a simple reflection into something unique. What do you see in it?
