So, seems the reddit migration isn't gonna be all positive.
Just got reblogged by @/fake-disorder-cringe , someone seemingly attempting to keep the subreddit of the same name alive.
Just a PSA to go ahead and block + report.
Cross posting in both DIDOSDD tags and endo / general plural tags, because they're bullying any sort of system.
Edit: Also block their main blog @/virgilzdemon

Alright kids, let's go over the affirmations of Truth!
My body changes and that's okay
Weight is not an indicator of health
My body is morally neutral, no matter the shape or size
My body does many things for me
My body does not have to be beautiful for it to have worth
My body does not have to be beautiful for ME to have worth
Everyone's body is different
Diets are not an effective or healthy option - the only healthy diet is a balanced one.
Carbs are not evil
Sugar is not evil
Fats are not evil
Food is morally neutral
I am allowed to and I should eat
Food gives me energy
My body will tell me when I need something, and I should listen
I am strong and I am making progress in my recovery
Recovery is worthwhile and important
My happiness is more important than other people's opinions of my body
Feel free to add, friends, and remember that my inbox is always open <3

"Not everything is about your autism."
Actually it is. My autism effects:
How I see the world, including light sensitivity
How I interact with the world, including difficulties with social interaction, speech difficulties and processing disorders
How I feel the world around me, including hyposensitivity or hypersensitivity to temperature, pain, or stimuli as well as proprioception which can make it difficult for me to physically navigate the world
How I feel my body, including interoception which can lead to missed meals, dehydration, and even urinary urgency (which is a problem just by itself) because I don't notice the signals my body gives
How I relate to those around me, due to my alexithymia, so often I feel nothing or can not work through the bodily sensations that indicate emotions.
How I cope with the world, including needing to stim, escape noises others may not hear, or requiring accommodations to help me survive an "average" day
How I rest after a normal day, including delayed sleep onset, reduced melatonin and increased cortisol, making getting to sleep a 2 hour long endeavour and staying asleep a task unto itself
So yes.
This is all about my autism.

Hello
Not to give them the attention they so desperately crave but I'd strongly suggest blocking the user @did-is-not-real , they seem to be making the rounds. If you don't know how to block a user from a sideblog you should be able to do it manually in your settings from a computer or you can message them like an x or something from the sideblog and then block them from there.
Also don't doomscroll through their account, it'll probably make you sad

if you're still living with your abuser and judging yourself for not leaving, please be kinder to yourself.
sometimes, no matter how much we want to leave, we just don't have the resources, or leaving could put us in danger. or jeopardize our access to food, shelter, and other necessities. or we may have emotional attachments to where we live and who we live with - and obligations to these places and people. or we may not truly (or at all) realize how urgent it is we leave, and how much harm we face.
i could really go on. there are so many reasons we stay, and it is not our fault. what makes an abusive situation abusive is not just the harm, but the power imbalance between abuser and abusee. we do not have as much control or agency as we/others may believe. we simply don't, and again. it is not our fault. it is our abuser's fault, as well as the fault of the systems we live under. we cannot control other people, let alone entire systems.
all we can do is survive, with the support, resources, and knowledge we have. that is our best, and our best is enough. you are doing all that you can. do not blame yourself.

System Cringe Actually Needs to Stop
I don't care if you are endogenic or traumagenic, this hurts everyone, but especially self-discovered disordered systems. People are being harassed and fake claimed for actual symptoms of DID at this point. They make fun of everything from actual jokes to diagnosed systems. It's disgusting. In r/fakedisordercringe, they will literally delete your message if you so much as attempt to defend the person with reason. You are stupid if you think all of the people on that subreddit are faking because of the bullshit reasons the posters give. Sure, some may be faking, let's say they are. What would be more beneficial to them and to their community: Berating them online for "faking" a disorder or ignoring them. If you are oh so desperate to interact with this person, there are so many other things you could do then blatantly tell them. You don't have this disorder. You are faking. And various other things. You could give them resources, ask them why they believe they have the disorder (if you are close enough, don't ask strangers this), or basically anything else.
Also, even if they were purposely faking the disorder, a random person on the internet cussing them out and telling them they aren't real isn't going to make them stop. On top of that, if someone is purposefully faking a disorder, there are bigger issues there. Most people don't just wake up one day and decide to put together an elaborate plan to convince everyone they have a disorder, especially a really heavily stigmatized one. If someone is faking a disorder, they need help, the need someone to talk to, and somewhere to be themself. Chances are they are struggling in life for other reasons, and being an asshole on the internet is not going to stop that.
Anyways there is my rant about r/systemcringe and r/fakedisordercringe! I despise both and if you post people or make fun of people on there do not talk to us.
This post was mostly created for us to get out our feelings and possibly share the feelings with others since one of our friends got posted on r/fakedisordercringe for an absolute bullshit reason and it made us go down the hell hole that fake claiming on Reddit.

Hey, idk if it's just us, but there appears to be another fakeclaimer going around following and harassing people? Their url is did-is-not-real, and they're a giant aphobe and exclusionist, not to mention they're reblogging people's system posts just to insult them. Feel free to block, even report if you know enough about that process to know how to file a complaint against this, just don't harass them in turn.

I got trolled so I'm gonna make a little more positivity!
(Remember! If you ever have a question, just ask! This is an ask blog!)
Anyway, big love for all psychological factkin! Most of the perspective from the community, including my own, is spiritual but that doesn't make your experience any less important!
Psychological factkin are awesome and I hope you have a great day!

the idea that women have some sort of moral/ethical superiority to men just because they are not men is..........a problem—women with intersections of power in their identity/consciousness (whiteness, cisness, class, abled-bodiedness, etc) can and do exert that power over those that are considered lesser. just the same way men do (mostly of all white men). y’all better wake the fuck up.

If your system functions differently to everyone elses, that doesn’t mean that it’s less real. Plurality is such a varied experience and no two systems function the same way. You’re real, you’re valid, and you’re no lesser for being different.

I haven't seen people explicitly talk about this before, but there's a couple different perspectives one can have in their innerworld. Some have a first-person POV, and see the innerworld as if through their own eyes, like one does in the outer world. Some have a third-person POV, and see the innerworld through an external perspective that's fixed to their form, like one sees their player character and surroundings in many video games. There are even some who don't have a specific form to see through or around in any way, and simply "see" the innerworld as needed, in ways hard to describe but that may be comparable to a third-person omniscient POV. There's no "right" or "wrong" way to envision or see your innerworld. It's just that most guides for and discussion about it center around a first-person perspective, which seems to be the most common perspective. Don't worry if your perspective falls outside of that, and don't worry if your system has a mix of perspectives. It's perfectly normal and alright.
