This is an indie RP blog for the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings character, Tauriel - the badass elf who walks in starlight. Also, Mun hugely ships Muse with Kili... Legolas... Bard... Thranduil... Thorin... Mun is, however, not at all opposed to other ships...

[ CONTINUED FROM: X ]
Perhaps if Kili’d had a beard, Tauriel wouldn’t have been able to see him blush -- and, that would have been a shame, because he was precious.
“Well,” the elf said, “I don’t see how my feelings would change on that count.” She smiled. “Elves are constant with our feelings -- we love deeply and forever. And, usually only once,” she gently explained.
He flushed at her words. No one has ever considered him any sort of perfect. “I am afraid that you will not always feel that way…” He admitted softly. Kili didn’t have a reason yet, but he felt that with the differences between them that she would not always feel for him the way she did now. “But, I hope that you do.” He added with a small, sheepish smile.

He was just a man -- not a dwarf, nor elf. And, he did not seem to be hostile. Perhaps the King would see him -- this Jaquen -- and invite him to rest the night in his kingdom.
“Well met, Jaquen H’ghar,” Tauriel replied courteously. “I am Tauriel, Captain of the Mirkwood Guard.” She introduced herself and included her position, not to impress the man, but to let him know that she was no one to be trifled with.
Not that she thought he’d try anything untoward, but... One could never be too careful.
“Perhaps you may wish to accompany me and allow me to introduce you to our King, Thranduil?” the elf invited.

Jaqen analyzed the stranger with curiosity; he had been wondering when one of the Mirkwood elves would appear to find out what was he doing there. They protected their home jealously, and he understood. The forest was equally beautiful and dangerous.
He bowed slightly in front of her. “A man is Jaqen H’ghar, from the Free City of Lorath. It is far from here, beyond seas and mountains. A man is just searching for a place to spend the night, and shall continue the journey when the dawn arrives.”

Tauriel couldn’t help smiling -- her forehead pressed to Kili’s, and her eyes gazing into his. She thought she understood what he was saying, now, and she made a sound of assent, “Mhmm...” and then went on to add, “I think you are, too -- perfect, I mean. Perfect to me.”

Send X to pin my character against the wall and kiss them.
Tauriel hardly knew what was happening — it all happened so fast…
Her eyes widened, and she gave a slight gasp as Kili pinned her against the wall and planted his lips down against her own. However, once her initial moment of surprise had passed, Tauriel let her eyes close, and she returned the kiss with a joyous eagerness, reaching out to pull him closer to her.

He was very kind, for, despite being completely new to the act of smoking -- and making an awkward job of it -- Bofur did not at all make her feel embarrassed at her lack of skill. Instead, he was quite encouraging. He was even offering her another try, while offering some helpful tips, so that she might not hack so much, this next time.
Smiling and still a bit red-faced, Tauriel accepted the pipe again. She held it gingerly in her slender fingers and once again brought it to her lips. This time, she had the benefit of his advice and gently inhaled a wisp of the fragrant smoke. A moment later, she exhaled a modest plume of white-gray smoke.
She was catching on -- she didn’t cough even once!
Feeling more confident, now, Tauriel handed the little pipe back to the Dwarf.
“I think I can see how this might be relaxing...” she murmured. Of course, she only meant the regulation of one’s breathing -- the ‘quick breath in; steady out’.
The effects of the pipe weed had not yet become clear to the Elf, but it would... In fact, were she to properly think about it, Tauriel might agree that everything around her seemed to slow down slightly. The colors, a bit more vibrant. The air, a bit more...
But, only if she thought about it. You see, it hadn’t properly hit her, yet.
Delayed as his reactions were, it didn’t immediately occur to Bofur that with Tauriel’s lack of experience he should have at least imparted a few words of advice. Rather he deigned to blink lazily and keep quiet, regarding her curiosity with silent amusement as his lips quirked into a lopsided smirk; it was a rare occasion on his travels to meet those new to smoking - least of all someone of such advanced age.
Her first inhale would likely have been enough to get started with but before the dwarf could open his mouth to so much as consider speech she’d tried again and with greater results. “Easy, easy - hang on love, just get y’ breath back” Bofur chuckled, one hand half-raised as though in consideration of patting her back before the thought seemed to fly from memory. He paused for a moment, bafflement written upon his relaxed features before the moment passed and the action abandoned with a waggle of fingers. Instead he elected to take his pipe back carefully, if only for a moment to let Tauriel catch her breath before offering it once more, still laughing quietly. “Here now, try it again - first few goes might take gettin’ used to, but just take it easy. Quick breath in; steady out.”

AGE OF ULTRON SENTENCE MEME
“Language.” “I adore you.” “I just pay for everything and design everything, make everyone look cooler.”
“You didn’t see that coming?”
“Is that the best you can do?”
“You kiss your mother with that mouth?”
“I’ve got no strings to hold me down.”
“Keep up old man!”
“I suppose we’re both disappointments.”
“You get hurt, hurt ‘em back. You get killed… walk it off.”
“No matter who wins or loses, trouble always comes around.”
“As the world’s expert on waiting too long, don’t. You two are great together.”
“Really? That’s it? You just roll over and show your belly, every time somebody snarls?”
“I am always picking up after you boys.”
“Nothing lasts forever.”
“That’s not a question I need answered.”
“I’m sick of watching people pay for our mistakes.”
“You are all puppets tangled in strings.”
“I’m going to tear you apart; from the inside.”
“What’s a girl like you doing in a place like this?”
“A guy did me wrong.”
“We have no place in the world.”
“This is going to be like finding a needle in the world’s biggest haystack… fortunately, I brought a magnet!” “I got no plans tomorrow night.” “It just slipped out.” “I can show you what you truly fear.” “Yeah, we don’t have time for a city hall debate.” “And for gosh sake; watch your language!”

“I... I thought I did...” Tauriel said, stumbling a bit over the words and smiling bittersweetly at the irony. “But, that was a long time ago, now,” she added, her false smile fading into a look of sad, sort of numb shock.
Slowly, she forced a closed-lipped smile across her face and met Bilbo’s gaze.
“I am glad to hear that they are well,” Tauriel said, choosing her words carefully, while trying to keep her emotions in-check. “Have you heard any other news from Erebor about the Princes?”
The shy smile that had been playing on the hobbit’s lips grew wider with how Tauriel reacted to the news, and he nodded eagerly to confirm that she had been right.
"Fili and Kili, yes — Thorin is ever so proud of them, he told me so in his letter."
He hesitated before asking the following question, carefully choosing his words as he still didn’t want to seem too nosey — that was for the Sackville-Bagginses.
"I… I take it you know them, then…?"

Tauriel slowly melted out of the shadows with her bow drawn -- the arrow aimed at the stranger’s heart.
Sternly, she replied, “You have good eyes... for a human.”
With a slight, resigned sigh, the she-elf decided that the man was not likely intending on attacking her, and so she relaxed her aim and let her bow drop to her side -- the arrow unspent.
“Who are you, and what brings you to this place?” she curiously asked.

Conversation
Anastasia (1997) Starters
"Do you really think I'm royalty?"
"You know I do!"
"Then stop bossing me around!"
"Oh, sorry. I thought you were someone el - oh, it's you. Well, that's okay, then."
"Why the change of mind?"
"It was more a change of heart."
"Men are such babies."
"And to think that could have been you."
"If we live through this, remind me to thank you."
"Princesses don't marry kitchen boys."
"No one can save you!"
"Wanna bet?"
"Oh, thank goodness it's you!"
"Will you please remove him from my sight?"
"What have you done to her?"
"Me? It's her!"
"Oh! An unspoken attraction!"
"*Attraction*? To that skinny little brat? Have you lost your mind?"
"I was only asking a simple question..."
"Attraction... ridiculous!"
"Stress, it's a killer."
"She/he certainly has a mind of her/his own."
"Yeah. I hate that in a woman/man."
"It's a perfect ending."
"No. It's a perfect beginning."
"What? Hey - why are you circling me? What were you, a vulture in another life?"
"It's just that - you look an awful lot like... never mind."
"I don't believe we told her that..."
"Stop this car immediately! STOP THIS CAR!"
"That's what I hate about this government. Everything's in red."
"What do they teach you in those orphanages?"
"What is it with you and homes?"
"All right! I couldn't have said it better myself!"
"That, uh, that dress looks really good on you."
"I feel a little... dizzy."
"You don't know if it's a lie. What if it's true?"
"I remember now how much I loved them."
"They would not want us to live in the past, not now that we have found each other."
"This can only end in tears!"
"Uh, the dog stays."
"I'm allergic to dogs."
"You'd better go."
" Stop it! From the very beginning, you lied! And I not only believed you, I actually..."
"Look I think we got off on the wrong foot."
"I'm telling you we're walking away too soon!"
"I'm telling you I've got it all under control."
"What do you want then?"
"I am calm. I am heartless. I have no fear whatsoever."
"I want to wish you good luck, I guess."
"You'll stop at nothing, will you?"
"I'm probably about as stubborn as you are."
