I watched the live action yesterday and felt 9 years old again. The movie was perfection and did the animation justice. The cast was amazing, sets were immaculate (and filmed on my turf? Hell yeah!!) and the music don’t get me started. I cried 3 times during and I’m shocked it wasn’t more.

How to Train Your Dragon has been a huge part of my life and shaped me into who I am today. I remember seeing Nico Marlet’s concept sketches as a child and realising then and there I wanted to go into animation.

Moving on I knew I wanted to redraw this scene as it’s one of my favourites (also it’s the first thing I sobbed at yesterday). Forbidden Friendship is such a good song !!!!

when the live action has been out for a few months I hope to be able to discuss it with lots of other dragon fans!!
