When I was kid all I read was Raina Telgemeier’s graphic novels. They were so funny and enticing and as dramatic as it is they changed my life. Every time I read them id want to make a graphic novel myself. I’m working on one right now and have made comics in the past. Her books and stories inspired me so much in my childhood, especially her books, smile and sisters. I had read drama, guts, and ghost later all amazing and intriguing stories. Her book sister made me simultaneously not want a sister and want one too. I liked how she showed her relationship with her sister and even her parents and cousins through a road trip that there on. Now smile was the first of her books I read, and it scared me so bad because I thought I’d ruin my teeth when I got braces too. I was in girl scouts just like her so I could relate to that aspect of the story which is nice. I thinks that’s why I liked her books the most because in a small aspect I could relate to her and her stories. Later I read guts when I was also having gut troubles and drama and ghosts later on too. I actually haven’t read those last three in a while, but I know that I used to love sitting on my floor or in class just re-reading them over and over again because they were so good. I’m going to re-read it actually after it being so long once school is over. Anyways highly recommended Raina Telgemeier’s books for anyone whose looking for something new and fun.
