FINAL REFLECTION ABOUT THE COURSE
First of all, this is not my first CLIL course, so there's a fair amount of information I already knew. Even so, I’ve learned lots of new things that I’ll definitely use in my classes.
If I had to say which 3 things that I’ve learned in this course are my favorites, I’d choose:
New cooperative Learning Techniques: Such us the Kagan Structures. I had worked before using cooperative learning but these new techniques open more possibilities for my classes. Actually, Cooperative Learning is, for sure, the topic I’m going to keep learning about in the following years. I find it indispensable to change and improve the way we teach our classes.
New assessment and evaluation strategies: I specially liked the Self-evaluation target. That’s probably the one I’m going to be using a lot in the near future.
New places where to find ICT and CLIL resources. Symbaloo, my classmates blogs, artefactos digitiales, etc.
Overall, I’ve enjoyed this course very much and I can’t wait to use all of this new knowledge in my classes.

What Did I Learn This Week?
Module 5 was focused on ICT and how these resources can help us improve our classes. This has been, by far, my favorite module in this course. I love using technology in my classes and I’m always trying to learn new things about it.
I loved learning about Artefactos Digitales, I didn’t know that website before and I find it quite useful.
I also learned more about the concept of Elevator Pitch, which I had heard about but I didn’t know how to apply it in Education.

What Did I Learn This Week?
I’ve learnt a lot about assessment. Rubrics weren’t new to me but I didn’t know about self-assessment targets and I find them really useful. I think those targets can help students see their progress in a very clear and easy way.
I also liked the Visual Thinking Routines. I hadn’t heard of them before but I’ll try to keep learning and applying them in my classes.

What did I learn this week?
Although I think I’m a little behind with my work, it’s been an interesting week.
I’ve created an infographic that I’ll use in class right away.
I’ve specified the communicative skills that I want my students to develop during the unit that I’m planning.
I’ve planned a couple of activities with cooperative learning techniques (which I love to use in my lessons!).
But I still don’t see one thing clear: What’s the main difference between what I want my students to know and what have my students learnt at the end of the unit? It would make more sense if I could complete the last part of that chart when the unit is over, like a reflective practice.

We’ve just started the course about CLIL but I’ve already learnt something new. I didn’t know about the SWOT technique to analyse something.
I’ve found quite hard the activity where I had to start planning my clil unit. As I mentioned before, we’ve just started the course and I think I still don’t have the knowledge or the resources to plan a good and complete unit. It’s especially hard the part where I have to detail which competences I will include in the unit.
Do I have to include as many competences as possible? All of them? Only the ones I find more important for this unit?
