Ranking

Welcome to one of many Team Malus headquarters. How you heard about us, and found us we don’t want to know. Keep it to yourself. All we care about is getting you into a uniform and getting you ready to start your first mission. Before you choose what team you want to be on, and who you want to be lead by, there are a few things you need to know.

Although the teams still exist, we are all one singular team. All teams exist under Team Malus, and follow the promotion rules.

Unless something is discussed between the applicant and a mod, original characters are given the title of Grunt. They are placed under the grunt section of the team. There are 3 different types of grunts:

First Class

Second Class

Basic

Most entering grunts start at basic, unless something is worked out between you and the mods. Tobi-mod would be the best to talk to about this.

You can gain rank by completing missions sent by the mods. Success of a mission will influence how much you rank up.

Missions will only be sent by the main blog. Never will they be sent in ask, and if on the seldom occasion that they are it will not be on anon.

It will, however, be sent in a submission and be made to look like a computer opening a file. It will also be signed with the mod tag that sent it.

If you feel you are unable to complete a mission, please alert the mod who sent it, and we will suspend it, and assign a new one.

Please tag these posts “malus mission.”

Bosses, or next commander in line, are partially responsible for ranking up grunts.

They are able to consult the mods and put in a good word for when it comes time to consider ranking up.

~Note: This does not mean you have to interact with the leader of your division. Although we encourage it, if we notice you interacting with another leader or someone higher up on the ladder, we will contact and consult them.

Personality: Cold and calculating the female is rather harsh. Not one to say much unless needed her attacks can be much more dangerous and without further warning. Face hindering no emotions, it's hard to tell just what the psychic is up to.

Brief bio: With Team Rocket fully disbanded the young female returned to her days at the gym with little else to do. Never, did she give up and one day, you had stumbled across a page in which all the villains of each, individual affiliation, were teaming up. With a small smile showing on her features--a rarity--she wished to join at once, so mayhem might once again ensue. 

Brief RP sample: Maybe it was a plight, a lie built into that of her mind. An illusion she clung to for so long, one she believed in desperately that drove her to insanity However, it was not her fault for the paper in her hand, winning her over in just a brief read. Time was given, a new hope donning on her as the sun once again came to rise on the horizon. Cold nature quickly showing itself, lips twisting into a sinister smile as amber orbs scanned the paper in her hands. Yes, history was giving her a second chance after settling for what seemed ages. Casting aside all other work, obligations, duty and so on the psychic gathered her belongings, tossing them into a bag for the journey ahead. 

"We will show this world once again how terrifying a villain can be," musing as she shrugged her bag onto her back. A last glance to the gym she was a member of, a note on the door stating that she'd be gone for a numerous about of days. Pokemon at her side she began the exhibition, in search of this new, formulating organization.

Other headcanons: Despite her naturally cold nature the female is somewhat of a child beneath the surface. Not in the factor she is easily duped or hyper, but just a stubborn child who wishes to break out from time to time.

Storyline

It had been two years since Team Plasma was defeated. For two years the people of Unova rejoiced and reveled in peace. Ghetsis only had Hydreigon and no money. His followers leaving to become petty thieves, petty thieves that with no proper leader fell to shambles.

It had been two years since Cyrus disappeared. Commander Mars tried to hold together Team Galactic by herself, the other two commanders gone somewhere the redhead had no idea. But she only succeeded in Jubilife, the organization then only scraping by.

It had been two years since Team Magma and Team Aqua had been defeated. Where the head bosses and executives went, no one knows. Though, some grunts attempted to complete the mission of their team, neither succeeded in catching their legendary. Without a proper leader, the teams were broken into shambles.

It had been 4 long years since Team Rocket was defeated by Red. With barely enough to get by, Sabrina pulled together what she could and reassembled what remained of Team Rocket. Only for it to be taken by another, a male. But even under his command, Team Rocket was still defeated.

In all these years, these crime syndicates had been called weak. They had been brushed to the side and deemed a problem no longer. The fearsome reputations they once built up, reputations that sent people fleeing to their homes at the mere mention of the name, thrown to the ground and stomped on. Never did these people expect that the people who once caused so much terror would be watching, watching from the shadows all that time planning a new attack.

Only was it when the remaining bosses and executives of each villainous syndicate met in one group was it decided. A plan would be put into motion. A plan to combine all the teams into one. A plan to pool all resources to slowly take over the world. It was to be called Team Malus. With each team still separate yet one, power filled the hands of those inside, the name Team Malus spread. At first, people casted away the idea as they did with the past reputations and refused to believe it was happening. But soon panic began to spread. All the rumors were true. The syndicates were back.

And this time they would not fail.

Verse: Influenced by head canon. But putting as much Canon as possible.

Personality: Ghetsis is a selfish person. HE really cares about no one but himself. HE tends to only do things in which will benefit himself. However it is revealed more through roleplay there is much more too it then that. (I suck at writing out personalities.

Brief bio: Ghetsis was born a sick and weak child, born into a wealthy family, who spent most of his time indoors. As a result of this, nurses and his family would often tell the boy stories of their ancestors.The stories were all along the same line, saying that the Harmonias used to be a royal family, who ruled the Unova region from the relic castle. 

These stories always left young Ghetsis in awe, and the thought of ruling a whole region appealed to him.

Ghetsis grew older, and started to wander outside more and more. Because his son was still weak, and rather small for his age, Ghetsis’ father provided a small Deino for protection. A good choice, because all the neighboring kids wanted to pick on the pampered rich boy. Ghetsis did egg them on though, as he already thought that he was so much better than them. 

After constant beatings and verbal abuse, Ghetsis started to make Deino retaliate against them, on occasion hurting one or two pretty badly. And being as charismatic and confident as he was, he was able to talk himself out of trouble. He started to regress from people, and invested more time in himself and his newly evolved Hydriegon. Why bother with people who were beneath him? 

Ghetsis worked on his charisma, getting to the point where he could talk anyone into doing things for him. This was the point where he saw that he could use people as tools. Over the years, Ghetsis grew colder and more bitter. Regressing from people even further, he thought relationships were far more trouble then they were worth.

He started to think that if his ancestors were once kings, why shouldn’t he be a king as well? As he got older, Ghetsis started to seek out ways to gain power over the region. He soon found legends of the Dragons of Truth and Ideals, and sought out a way to find the stones to awaken them. He somehow got his hands on the light stone.

But when Reshiram awakened, it did not recognize Ghetsis as the hero it required, and became enraged. Ghetsis tried to protect himself, resulting in a horribly burned and scarred right arm, shoulder and back. The intense flames also burned the retina in the right eye. 

Ghetsis managed to get the dragon back into the stone, and made a plan. He needed a real hero to change the world.

His chance came when he found N in the forest. He considered the boy less than human, and didn’t want to give him the time of day, but he quickly realized he would be able to use this boy.

After taking N in, he started to teach him, and put ideas in his head. He found two women, Athena and Concordia, who had more time to care for N then he did. Not that he even wanted to bother with caring for and raising the boy. He told him that he was destined to be king. When it came time for N’s coronation, Ghetsis was not happy with the fact that, as he only held the rank of a sage in his own organization, he would have to answer to someone he knew he was better than.

Ghetsis continued to run the organization, through N. He always had such a hold on the boy. (IT's yellow!)

Brief RP sample: But things seemed to be going well, Ghetsis was soon seen walking down one the sidewalks alone, with only his Hydriegon for company. The meeting with the sages had ended and he left Akroma with them to show off his new invention.

So Ghetsis took the time to think hos own plans through. Never did he expect the experiment that had escaped his grasp to come back and get him. 

He stopped in front of the alley, acting as if he had heard something, before he turned to face the tree headed dragon pokemon.

“Do not put that in your mouth” he scolded, pulling the left-overs that hung on a chain around Hydriegon’s neck from the mouth on it’s main head. “you still try to eat absolutely anything, This” he hit the item against his hand “Plastic” Ghetsis sighed, then his gaze was broken as something seemed to move in the alley out of the corner of his eye. He turned to face the mouth of the dark alley.

“who ever is there show themselves!” He called down the empty space, voice echoing off the sheet steel walls, looming on either side.

Other headcanons:

Ghetsis actually deeply cares for his Hydriegon. The emotional connection the two share is actually astounding  it might be the only living thing Ghetsis would be willing to sacrifice for. However, he feels that aspect makes him weak, and would lower his image, so around anyone else he will act as if the pokemon is just another tool. N is the only one to know the truth of the connection between the two.

After the damage to Ghetsis’ right retina, he had to start covering that eye, while he could still see out of it, light was so blinding, as that was the part of the eye that was light sensitive. So the amount of light he saw was unstable. 

However, after meeting Akroma (Colress) the scientist made him the lenses he wears, allowing Ghetsis to see out of his right eye again. Along with a few other secret built in features.

Ghetsis has danced with death once. And the experience terrified him. Ghetsis fears death, and as he grows older and starts to feel and see the signs of aging, it reminded him how every year he takes a step closer. 

And being sick as a child, he knows that even though the ailments seemed to have left, they will return when age hits him. It is common after all. 

Ghetsis has accepted that at some point in time, he will die.

But when it ends up happening, he would rather be killed. 

He dreads the thought of loosing his life to something like illness, or old age.

Reservations and applications

⋆Before reserving a character, please check the master list to make sure the character you want is available. All reservations are marked by a R next to the name on the master list.

⋆Already existing blogs are okay.

⋆When reserving a character, please put in the ask: Name, date, character you wish to reserve, and personal blog(if applicable).

⋆Reservations last a week. A three day extension is available if you request it. Otherwise your character will become available again. 

⋆Turn in your application within the week you make your reservation. After it is turned in you have three days to ready your blog. No side blogs please make a new blog to be in this group.

⋆When ready to officially be a part of the group, send an in character ready ask. It will be published and you will be added to the master list.

⋆If you do not see a canon character on the list that needs to be added, please send an ask. AU characters (such as genderbents and protags and rivals in a syndicate) will be added in the team. Grunts will be added in the grunts section of the list.

Little mistakes are okay too, we get that no one is perfect with their grammar, especially when half asleep or stressed.

⋆ We allow each mun to have a maximum of 3 characters. Two canon characters, and one OC/AU/Genderbent.

⋆ If you plan on changing your URL, please let us know so we can update it on the master list and put out a PSA.

Activity

⋆ Post two times a week to be considered active. Asks, OOC posts, pictures, and reblogging text posts do not count as active. To be active you must reply to at least two thread.

⋆When the mods have noticed you've been inactive for a week, we will issue a warning on Tumblr, and other means of communication. If you give no response or request of hiatus within three days, you will be removed from the master list.

⋆ There are 3 different types of hiatus:

Long hiatus: Lasts a month. This means you can't get on your blog at all. Maybe you're going through something in your life and you just need a break, or maybe your muse is being stubborn and wont talk to you. Just request a long hiatus and put a PSA on your blog stating that you will be away. We will mark you as on hiatus with the date it starts. If you do not check in by the end date, you will be removed from the master list.

Short Hiatus: Lasts two weeks. Basically the same as above, just shorter. Nothing much to be said here.

School/semi hiatus: this lasts for anywhere between a week an a month. Basically means that you can post sometimes, but school or something else has most of your attention. To maintain this, you must post at least 1 time in a week. Other than that, basically the same as the other two.

⋆We do not do skype calls in our group, please save those for other groups or private calls.

⋆Our skype chat is for anything group related, or if you just want to talk. Conversation is great, and being part of the group is a good way to make great friends!
