I get that point about Nancy not being a great girlfriend to Ned, but why do you think she'd be any better of a girlfriend to Frank? The insensitive things she does to Ned feel more like a personal flaw than something Ned-specific, if you get what I mean.

sure, but the difference here is that I don’t think that those flaws would affect frank

consider ned and nancy’s problems in CAP. while nancy’s off solving mysteries, ned is at home with nothing to do and kind of resents that his life isn’t exciting compared to hers? 

DED illustrates beautifully that the most exciting thing that happens to him during his day-to-day is when he finds a quarter only to have it fall into a puddle

nancy is always too busy and too jetsetting-off-to-another-adventure to play the part of ned’s girlfriend the way he wants/needs her to. she prioritizes her “job” over her relationship

this is something frank would understand because he’s the exact same. he also prioritizes his job. he’s also always jetsetting off on mysteries and adventures. judging by the ~thing frank was talking about in LIE (that we later had confirmed), he could also easily bring nancy on board (much like he does with joe) and have them go on said mysteries and adventures together

Frank is voiced by Wayne Rawley in TRN, who has a much deeper voice. Plus he changes voice actors quite a bit before that in games where he’s a phone contact!

Have you seen the brief conversation Nancy can have with Dylan near the end of TMB where he asks her to go on one of his tours once he’s recovered and if Nancy says no he does this cutesy pouty voice and calls her beautiful and charms her into changing her no to a maybe because IT IS GOLD

ND Games Bracket - Round 1

Hi guys! I’ve been working hard to make this first bracket interesting, and with the help of your guys’ suggestions I’ve finalized the very first “March Madness” style bracket for the Nancy Drew games! This has been done before several times, but I wanted to give my own little twist to it! Here’s how it works: 

The original bracket is posted below. You all have a week to vote for the first round. Once the results are in, I will fill in the winners and we will again vote on round 2, and the cycle will repeat until there’s only one game left. You may only vote ONCE! 

This bracket was created under the assumption that everyone has played all the games, and I discluded MID on purpose to 1) make it even and 2) avoid any controversy surrounding the new platform, new voice actress, etc. That being said, we are starting with 32 games!*

Hi guys! My name is Tessa (normally I’m over on @frankhardys) and I have finally decided to make The Nancy Drew Network! Basically, it is a communication hub for all things Nancy Drew. Here’s what that entails: 

a page with everyone’s blogs so it’s easier to follow one another 

list of Nancy Drew fanfiction categorized and sorted 

reblogged graphics/gifs/screencaps/other creations people make

answer questions about the games (hint hotline!)

also (in the future) fun group playthroughs, daily questions, writing challenges and other things the fandom wants to do together 

This fandom is very near and dear to my heart and now that I have more freetime I wanted to devise a way to give back. It is my hope this becomes a collaborative project that we can all get involved in. If you’d like me to reblog something you’ve made, please tag it with #nancydrewnetwork so I see it!

The blog is up and running but obviously is not at its fullest potential yet since it is only a newborn –– but over the next couple of weeks I hope to add more things and would love your feedback!
