Jimmy has to recruit Zedaph to help him make a cake for Tango. Jimmy isn't great a baking and Zed is and knows all of Tango's favorite things.

They actually get along great and become friends too. They like to talk about British people things.

Tango loves the cake afterwards but can tell that Zed helped Jimmy make it because Zed makes cakes in some weird, absurd way that only he does.

Tango tries to work on his birthday and Jimmy protests it so much that he literally locks the factory and hides the key for the entire day. Tango complains and tries to get Jimmy to tell him where the key is but he won't tell. It's in his pocket the entire time.

Tango could break into his own factory but he doesn't want to have to replace a window just so he could work.

When Tango was getting into season 10 and the steam punk theme, he made himself a bunch of copper jewelry and accessories to match the theme. Tango also completely forgot that copper turns your skin green.

That is until Jimmy freaked out and asked Tango about it and Tango kinda just chuckled like "I forgot it does that." And took the jewelry off before carrying on like nothing happened but Jimmy was still worried. He had to do a bunch of research to make sure his boyfriend wasn't poisoned because green skin is not good

The problem with Tango is that he has a sift for a memory AND is easily distracted, which causes him to say things like "I have no beef withthe POE" literal days after they destroyed his newly built wall he was proud of while trying to exile him for the fun of it, or say "I've never seen stir fry before" after "JUST. BROCCOLI." The real reason he calls things -ificators is because he would never remember the name of anything if he didn't.

I know it's been like 2 months since I last posted but I've been going through it. Anyway here's me projecting onto Tango for angst with a bit of Jimmy helping him. Sorry if it's bad. I don't usually write like this but inspiration struck me. Also this is how I experience it and it's not the same for everyone.

Tw: Panic Attack

Tango had never felt what being burned was like before and he never wanted to find out again. The only reason he found out was because he watched as a flaming piece of wood fell onto Jimmy's arm. Tango was confused when he felt more than just the impact of the wood.

When the soulmates realised that saving their home was a post cause, Tango grew angry. He wasn't as mad at Scar for burning down their home. He was more mad that Scar had caused Tangos own power hurt HIS soulmate. Tango's whole thing was fire and he'd sworn to NEVER hurt his soulmate and that was exactly what happened. He'd been harmed by fire and now had a nasty scar on his arm.

Jimmy insisted that he was fine and didn't blame him for anything that happened. Tango knew he had to keep any and all fire away from Jimmy if he wanted to keep him safe. That included himself. Tango knew that he was a walking fire hazard and he also knew that his fire had never accidentally burned anything or anyone but what if one day it did? He would never forgive himself for hurting someone he cared about.

The next time Jimmy slept, Tango made his way underground with nothing but a pickaxe and a bucket of water. He made himself a small room, surrounded by nothing but stone, and made a small pool in the corner. He blocked off the entrance to his room so nobody would find him there and just sat in the pool for... He didn't actually know how long but he knew it must have been a few hours because Jimmy was sending him many many messages. Tango didn't have the energy to actually reply to any of his questions but wanted to ease his mind at least a little so he sent one message to Jimmy 'Im fine. Just staying somewhere I can't hurt you or anyone else.'

That was all he said before throwing his comm across the room and curling up in the pool. He heard a crack from the direction he threw the comm, it was probably broken now, but there was no light to see its condition. Tango had long put out any and all fire on his body so there was no light, no fire, no risk of burning.

Tango didn't know how long he was in his little room before he started to drift off to sleep. His body and mind were exhausted from the stress so he fell asleep sitting in the pool.

As he slept he only had dreams of fire and he was right back at the ranch. He woke up right as the flaming piece was about to hit Jimmy but even when he woke up the pain was still there but in the wrong spot. It took him a second to realise that he wasn't at any risk of burning and also realised that the pain he felt wasn't another burn. It felt more like a puncture. And it was in his side, not his arm.

Jimmy must have been hurt by something. He could take care of himself though. Jimmy was safer without him around. He missed Jimmy and hanging out with his friends but they were all safer without him. They were all very flammable (except Impulse) and Tango wasn't willing to risk hurting them just because he wanted a hug or something stupid.

After a while longer, Tango heard someone digging near him. He practically stopped breathing at that point just to make sure the person didn't hear him or know he was there. Only problem was the digging kept getting closer and closer until the blocks in the walls of his room were removed and the entire room was lit up. Tango knew that they were using torches to light the way. Everyone used torches. It was the easiest way to light up places.

Tango heard some whispering before he seen Jimmy step through the opening. He was holding a torch so he could see and the light hurt Tangos eyes, making him wince and turn away. Jimmy must have heard him because he suddenly turned and looked directly at Tango, rushing to him.

Jimmy. Beautiful, flammable Jimmy. He was holding that torch WAY too close to himself. What would happen if the fire from the torch got too close to his hair or his wings? Tango couldn't hear what Jimmy was saying. He barely even registered that Jimmy was even speaking to him. He just stared at the flame on the end of the torch that was way too close for comfort to Jimmy. (Jimmy was actually holding the torch at a normal distance from himself but it was close enough that Tango was uncomfortable with it)

Tango hadn't realized he was crying until Jimmy was right in front of him, the torch now laying behind him on the stone floor. Jimmy must have realized that the torch was what was distressing Tango because he put up his wings to block Tango from seeing the torch. That actually made Tango panic more, now that he couldn't see the fire. It was also probably still too close to Jimmy who was now kneeling in the pool with Tango.

Tango felt his breathing quicken and Jimmy seen that he was getting worse but didn't know what was wrong. Jimmy ended up trying to grab Tango, probably to hug and comfort him, but Tango didn't want to be trapped by somebody. He COULDN'T. He HAD to keep his eye on the fire in case something happened.

Tango struggled against Jimmy's hole and eventually Jimmy let him go. Tango ran out of the pool and to the furthest corner. He splashed the torch and stomped on it on his way and just crouched in the corner where he curled up as small as he could and tried to get his breathing under control. He knew he was panicking but he couldn't do anything to help himself. He knew he had to get his breathing under control but he didn't know how.

Tango felt someone touch his arm and he flinched away from the touch. The person didn't touch him again but he could hear a familiar voice saying the same thing over again. It took a while but after a few minutes of nothing but noises that sounded like a voice, he heard someone call his name. He knew this voice but couldn't name who it was.

"Tango?" The voice asked and slowly he looked up to see who the voice belonged to. There was dim red light, something lighting up the room. The room that wasn't supposed to have light. The room that was supposed to be dark because if there was light then that meant there was fire and if there was fire then that meant someone was in danger.

Tangos eyes went wide as he frantically searched for the light source so he could snuff it out. His eyes eventually landed on a torch. But it wasn't like a normal torch. It had glowing red bits on the top instead of fire.

"I thought it was the flame from the torch so I got you a Redstone one." The voice said gently. Tango liked Redstone. It was safe and didn't produce any heat like glowstone did.

Tango finally found the person the voice belonged to. It was Jimmy. His soulmate. The one he missed the most. But Jimmy wasn't supposed to find him. How did Jimmy find him? He made sure to cover his tracks.

"Can I touch you?" Jimmy asked. Tango didn't say anything and just shrugged. He didn't know if he wanted to be touched in that moment but maybe it would provide some comfort?

"Can I try?" Tango nodded and felt Jimmy lightly touch his arm. A part of Tango was comforted by the touch but another, bigger part of his mind was telling him that he would hurt Jimmy if he didn't pull away, so he did. Jimmy looked saddened when Tango pulled away but Tango could live with a sad Jimmy as long as he wasn't hurting him.

"Okay. No touching then. How about we just sit here?" Jimmy said, sitting against the wall. Tango sat down in a corner and pulled his knees to his chest. He kept his eyes on Jimmy to make sure he wouldn't try touching him again.

"You know I was real worried about you. You didn't respond to my messages and that last one you sent made me worry even more. Then after that, the messages I tried to send didn't go through." Tango knew he broke his comm but didn't want to leave his pool to check at the time. He knew Jimmy was filling the silence. Maybe he thought that hearing him talk would make Tango feel better.

"It was crazy. I had to go to Grian to help find you. Stupid Scar shot me though, thinking I was going there for revenge or something. But I just needed to talk to Grian to make sure you were okay. He's the one who told me where you were." Jimmy just kept talking and talking. Talking jokes that Tango eventually chuckled at. Being dramatic with his words to try to make Tango laugh even a little bit and just telling stories in silly ways.

After a while, Tango moved closer to Jimmy and held out his hand for Jimmy, who happily took it. Even though they were sitting on the ground, their hands hung in the air from how far apart they still were but they were touching now at least.

"Do you want to come see the ranch again? I rebuilt it." Jimmy asked. Tango shook his head. He didn't want to go back to the wooden ranch when he was a walking fire hazard. Tango shook his head 'no' and pulled his hand back from Jimmy's. He also scooted away from Jimmy ever so slightly, almost as if he were scared that Jimmy would drag him out of his safe room.

"Alright. How 'bout I stay here with you, yeah?"

Tango didn't react to that and Jimmy took it as a 'yes' because he settled down to a more comfortable position and started telling stories again from whatever server he was on before double life started.

They have a sports net subscription. Jimmy likes to watch wrestling (judging from his Royal Rumble vid) and Tango doesn't understand why he gets so excited over men fighting eachother in a square.

Tango likes to watch hockey and gets excited over it. Jimmy doesn't understand why his boyfriend likes to watch random men hit a rock with a stick while wearing knife shoes.

They watch both sports together all the time though. Basically everyday you'll find them watching wrestling/boxing (I know they're not the same thing) or hockey. Sometimes their friends join them too if they're free.

Jimmy will sometimes speak with an American accent just for fun and it will mess with Tango every single time.

Like sometimes Tango want be paying attention and he'll just hear the door open and someone walk in (he doesn't know who it is bc he let's his and Jimmy's friends and family just walk in whenever they want) and Jimmy will notice Tango and be like "Hey babe." In an American accent and his voice is so much deeper and Tango nearly has a heart attack because he doesn't recognize the voice but recognizes the laugh after he freaks out.

This was inspired by Skizz's episode of Build and Seek when Jimmy used an American accent to be like "I think I'll look upstairs." Or something like that.

This one is more for Jimmy but he didn't start off as a Canary hybrid with wings. They started growing after he died for the last time in 3rd Life.

Since they grew later than with normal avians, his wings didn't grow/heal properly and get achy often and he gets frustrated and easily annoyed when hus wings get like that because there's not really anything anyone can do about it. He's tried a lot of things including, masages, pain killers, potions, respawn. Nothing seems to work.

Tango notices most of the time and tries to get Jimmy to stay in bed and relax but Jimmy always insists ongoing stuff to "keep his mind off the pain" but he is always trying to stretch the muscles and always stopping for a few seconds to take a breath because the ache in his wings is all he can think about.

Jimmy frequently goes to one specific restaurant (Skizz and Tango's) just to flirt with the hot waiter (his boyfriend Tango).

Tango gets so distracted talking to Jimmy that Skizz sends up yelling at Tango to do his job because food is piling up on the counters and Jimmy is just trying to get Tango's number. They're already together but think it's cute to flirt like they're not.

None of the other customers care or notice because they just think that the food takes a long time to make but in reality it's just their waiter is flirting with a customer the entire time.

When Jimmy leaves, he leaves a huge tip for 'great customer service' even though he knows that tips are shared, he doesn't mind. Tango's half of the tip will most likely go back to Jimmy anyway.

They've developed eachothers mannerisms and way of speaking a bit because they hang around eachothers friends and eachother too much.

Tango has started saying certain things in an English kind of way and sometimes says things with a bit of an accent. He called sweaters jumpers and says 'banana' and 'h' with an accent. This is because Jimmy basically only has English friends or friends with accents (Joel, Grian, Lizzie, Scott) so it's not very often that Tango hears the American version of words. He also can't escape it when hanging out with his own friend group because of Zedaph.

Similarly, Jimmy sometimes says the American version of words or if he can't think of something right away, he will tangoificate a word or call something a skadoodler if he can't think of it right away. His friends laugh at him every time he does this because it means they've been spending too much time together to the point that "it's changed their brain chemistry" as Grian would say.

And definitely not bc I have no friends that watch mcyt and I would sound like a crazy person if I talked about ranchers for 3 hours by starting with "I don't know where to start" bc I could start anywhere and it gets overwhelming on where to start tbh

When they first kissed, it was Jimmy who initiated it bc Tango was way too awkward qnd ajimmy was getting fed up with not kissing Tango.

It happened after The Ranch burned. Jimmy got burned a few times and Tango was patching him up afterwards bc he felt bad that Jimmy got burned when his soulmate is literally fire proof. So Tango was taking care of Jimmy's burns that were in a hard to reach spot.

After they were done treating all the burns, Tango kinda just sat there, not knowing what to say bc he felt guilty about Jimmy getting burned.

Jimmy also didn't know what to say but knew Tango enough to know he was getting stuck in his own head with guilt so he decided to stop that by grabbing Tango's face and just asking if he could kiss him. Tango didn't answer him and just kissed him.

Some headcanons for a scenario that I wanna see but I literally can't find this one. If you make this into a fic, pls tag me bc I need this in my life

Hockey player Tango / Figure skater Jimmy (I know, very original)

The way they meet is actually during a time where neither are at practice. They were both kinda just at the rink at the same time, doing their own practice. Tango was skating laps backwards while Jimmy just finished one of those jumpy spins (idk what they're called tbh. It's been forever since I watched Yuri on Ice).

Both were listening to music too loud to hear the other and they collided and Tango fell on top of Jimmy (bc he was going faster so his momentum would win).

Naturally, Tango was fine. He gets checked into the wall every other day anyway, so he got up pretty quickly and then offered to help Jimmy up and make sure he's okay.

Jimmy was, in fact, fine but Tango didn't think so bc he was so flustered in front of the hot hockey player that he couldn't stand up on his skates right away so Tango thought he wasn't okay and didn't give Jimmy the choice and carried him off the ice.

After that both of them went back basically everyday to hopefully see eachother and they always skated together and watched eachothers practices.

Jimmy wanted to rush down and check on Tango everything another player would hit him or shove him into the wall and make him fall or something.

Similarly, Tango would be worried about Jimmy whenever he fell, bc Jimmy didn't always get up right away.

They were usually fine until someone shoved Tango into the wall and he fell to the ice and didn't get up right away. The game continued like normal for a few seconds until the ref realised that a player wasn't getting back up. This time Jimmy had a reason to be worried.

Turns out Tango just got a minor concussion and while Tango was kind of out of it at the hospital, Jimmy confessed bc he thought Tango was dying. Jimmy was just being dramatic bc Tango was barely conscious.

They ended up sharing a kiss after Tango said that he also loved Jimmy and he was still kind of out of it.

Alternatively, Jimmy also injured his knee from landing on it wrong once and nobody else was there to help him up but Tango had seen Jimmy fall many times and he'd never taken this long to get back up. So Tango ran onto the ice and lovingly carried Jimmy off the ice and took off his skates and out of the building, all while glaring at all the people that Jimmy worked with bc none of them helped Jimmy when they should have.

Slightly angsty one here :)

Jimmy and Tango are always celebrating the little things and communicating their way through the bad things.

But when either one of them has something to tell the other one. Like if somwthing about one is bothering the other, they'll be super nervous totally the other because they're scared that the other person won't change to help the problem. They don't want the other person to say they'll try to change and then not change.

They eventually figure out a way to properly communicate their feelings and tell eachother the things they need to but it will always be difficult for them for a very very long time to get used to telling eachother.

They ended up needing to put in effort to properly communicate after they got into a fight after one of them snapped and then they both just unloaded.

Tango doesn't like tying his shoes because "it's a waste of time" but in reality he never learned how.

Jimmy always worries about him because "what if he trips down a cliff and dies" and stuff like that so Jimmy always tell Tango to tie his shoes every chance he gets. Tango usually brushes it off until he starts to get kind of annoyed because Jimmy is acting like he knows how.

He always ends up tying it in a way that it's next to impossible to untie the shoe laces and he ends up having to cut the laces just to take his shoes off.

Jimmy thinks that Tango us doing this to spite him but he's really not. Tango just doesn't know how to tie his shoes and ajimmy learns that when he finds Tango trying to tie his laces in a bow one day because he doesn't want to worry Jimmy and he's embarrassed to admit he doesn't know how.

Jimmy then also notices that Tango watches him whenever he ties his shoes and purposely slows down what he's doing but in a subtle way so Tango can learn and after a while, the crude knots and cutting laces stops and Tango has nice bows in all his shoe laces.

Sometimes Jimmy gets kinda jealous if Tango doesn't spend enough time with him or attention starved maybe? Either way, he'll just want Tango's attention and Tango won't pick up on the hints that Jimmy wants attention.

Most of the time it's when Tango is talking with his friends and Jimmy is kinda just standing off to the side but Jimmy will just walk up behind Tango, hug him from behind, wrap his wings around them and then just start dragging Tango backwards and towards where ever he wants. He mostly blocks Tango from other people at that point so he can glare at whoever was taking Tango's attention.

Everything Jimmy does this, the other person can really only see Jimmy glaring at them and Tango's feet dragging on the ground right below Jimmy's wings.

They've tried talking about this before, Tango telling Jimmy to just ask for attention instead of glaring at their friends and Jimmy tries to do that but finds I embarrassing to ask Tango for attention in front of his friends so he settles for the kidnapping.

Tango is always wrapping his tail around different parts of Jimmy, mostly his leg bc they stand weirdly close together when they talk to people. Tango also does this to reassure Jimmy that he's there for him no matter what

Jimmy isn't as prone to initiating physical contact but he will 100% wrap his wings around Tango, mostly to protect him. Jimmy does this whenever he wants. most of the time it doesn't include touching. Jimmy blocks Tango from anything that makes him even slightly uncomfortable from wind to people
