Good omens and the lost angel: House party with some tea spilling
As Gabriel and Beez have some moment of quietness in the balcony, everyone else is spilling tea and about to throw hands as cats are causing choas all around them.
Im sorry this chaoter took a bit long to draw, i was pondering which way is best to open the scene for this chater. Hopefully i can draw faster once i, on the track ^^

Good omens, the lost angel, chap 1.
So, when a Neil dropped the hint that ss2 would involve someone who lost their memory, for some reason I thought of Gabriel.
After the almost Armageddon, Aziraphale and Crowley set up a cottage somewhere outside the city and they decided to go to LA for a vacation (mostly because Crowley got bored of the simple and peaceful life in the countryside and the garden work).
And they ran into Gabriel.
Also if you enjoy my comics, consider supporting me on Patreon for early access and concept arts, sketches and more comics ^^ it would mean a great deal. Thank you for reading my story

you know what! i don't want to talk about the angst anymore i just want to look forward into season 3 and hopefully see the bookshop not only decorated with just books, but also crowley's plants! i'm looking forward to them moving in together in that bookshop! having tea or alchocol! or both!
i want aziraphale saying, “i don't really know how a kiss works—” continuing to ramble about he still found it pleasant because it was with crowley. i want him to pause, because he realized crowley is just staring at him like how they stared when they realized he gave away his flaming sword. crowley, smiling, and aziraphale bewildered with that.
crowley asking, “do you want me to teach you?”
and he does. he does. he does. and aziraphale learns a lot. they smile and giggle into the kisses! and they are soft! soft kisses! and they do it all the time, like how aziraphale eats because he found it enjoyous! like how he collects books because he enjoyed them too!
and they're happy! they will be!

Top books I read this year!
These are the books I read in 2020 that got a 5 star rating from me, in order that I read them! Only counting fiction & not rereads.
Tumblr media
A girl volunteers as a sacrifice to rescue her friend & crush from dying. She plans on being the first to manage an escape before she’s drowned- but she doesn’t expect to actually have any feelings for the witch meant to fall in love with, and then kill, her.
Tumblr media
The final book in the Truly, Devious trilogy! This book wraps up all the mysteries, past and present, of the series, in a fun, surprising, and satisfying way. If you like overlapping unsolved murder cases, posh schools, and girl detectives and you haven’t read this series, what are you doing?
Tumblr media
This book takes place in a world where magic is common place yet still thought of as something “weird” to cultivate or care about. Senior year finds the president of his magic club yearning for his- probably straight- best friend, dealing with magic he’s never imagined, and lost in the face of everything changing.
Tumblr media
Rin’s father used to be the gravedigger, dealing with the town’s bodies being laid to rest and with keeping the bodies in the forest- the bone houses- at bay. But when the bone houses start breaking the rules they’ve been adhering to for ages and actually attacking those in town Rin, and a stranger with his own quest in the forest, must find out the cause. A true fairy tale, involving zombies (ish)!
Tumblr media
The final book in the Winternight trilogy! This series is all winter magic, Russian folklore, and a girl refusing to conform to what society asks for her. She’s also in love with death, and gets to be more and more of a BAMF in each book.
Tumblr media
A woman decides to take her ticket out of a lower class, uninteresting life by taking the job her rich former school friend offers her. Even though that job is to nanny her friend’s stepchildren, and she has absolutely no experience with kids. Not to mention that these kids also spontaneously combust.
Tumblr media
2 agents of a long, convoluted time war fall in love in a series of letters that evolve from taunting to longing. Poetic, science-y, romantic, and very gay.
Tumblr media
The First Son of the US has always hated the youngest Prince of England- which is how he winds up in such a bad predicament that he has to pretend to be his long term best friend just to squeeze out of an international incident. And if Prince Henry is hot, funny, and kind of not actually boring, well- he still hates him, and he’s still straight. Right?
Tumblr media
Master thief, Rags, is blackmailed by the royal sorcerer into a heist that will probably kill him- except, he manages to survive it, and winds up with an actual, living Elf, and a quest to save the world. Plus a piece of enchanted mirror in his heart, ready to kill him at the first look of any of them actually trying to save the world.
Tumblr media
Korey Fields is dead- and Enchanted can’t remember why she’s in the room with his body. The superstar taking teenaged Enchanted under his wing should have been a amazing miracle, but as he turns more lustful and more possessive of her, it turns into a complete nightmare.
Tumblr media
Dark fantasy about a world where water only comes from the blood of the people, turned by the immortal magic user in town. Well, until Emanuela killed her. Now she’s on the run, and on a quest for another source of either magic or water. Finding another town full of water should be the answer to her prayers- but she knows something’s wrong. And she can’t let it go before she shows the world what- even if that means tearing the world apart first.
Tumblr media
The sequel & final book to The Merciful Crow! A masterpiece of a second book with such fantastic character work, tension, world building, and romance, it completely lives up to the first book. Just as much magic and cunning, just with more betrayal, heisting, and gods.

Popular Tropes . . . but make them gay
Today’s edition:oh shit I have fallen in love with the last person in the world I should be in love with
Let’s get into these.
This is How you Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone
This book is The Blueprint. Opposing agents on opposite sides of a time war write love letters to each other hidden in the fabric of time. I’ll give u a sec to process ~that~
Nottingham by Anna Burke
Y’all know Robin Hood. The whole outlaw and sheriff’s daughter??? Yeah that bit?? But now it’s gay. (CW: homophobia, transphobia)
A Darker Shade of Magic by VE Schwab
Ok hear me out. A prince and a pirate. That’s all carry on. (CW: homophobia)
***(Disclaimer: some of these books I read quite a while ago, so my CW lists are almost definitely incomplete, but i will add when the book world contains homophobia/transphobia wherever i can remember)

Tumblr media
i know, there's this raging fire—
out by the seaside.
it hums like mockery,
and a lullaby.
“stay,”
her voice hung in the air;
i am suffocating—
“why go?”
and she cages my wrists,
as if her fingers were made for keeping—
“we have all
we need here.”
the raging fire—
out by the seaside
hums like mockery,
and a lullaby—
i am still
wide awake, darling
isn't this all i need?

LGBT+ Fantasy/Fiction Books and TWs
1. Carry On by Rainbow Rowell-
(Fantasy, Witches, Vampires, kind of Harry Potter-y, Romance, TW for mention of suicidal ideation/self-destructiveness, abandonment, foster care, neglect, murder/violence, gun violence and relationship issues in the second book. It has some heavy topics but is written in a pretty light tone.)
2. Red White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston-
(enemies to lovers, about the son of the President and the Prince of England getting into a fight, they have to fake a friendship to fix their PR situation, TW for being publicly outed and semi-graphic sex scenes, also often politically charged discussions)
3. Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller-
(Ancient Greece, demigods, exile, TW for war/violence and tragedy, homophobia, bad parenting)
4. The Foxhole Court by Nora Sakavic-
(It’s about the mafia/college sports and happens to have a compelling queer storyline in the process. Demisexual main character and other gay characters. (slow burn, it’s a trilogy and the romance doesn’t happen in the first book) TW for a lot of things, it’s about kids from broken homes and the mafia so there is abuse, self harm, murder, police intervention, organized crime, drug use, assault, rehab, all kinds of weapons, manipulation, slurs, etc. The second book has mentions of r*pe (not extremely graphic but it is mentioned a handful of times and there is one semi graphic scene), and torture. It is a great series but it has heavy content and is not light reading if you go in unprepared.)

6. Heartstopper by Alice Oseman-

8. They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera-
(Bisexual Latino characters, whole story takes place in 24 hours because at about midnight- aka the start of the book- they get a phone call saying they’re gonna die, TW for death, family in hospital, violence, police intervention, and foster care)
9. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo-
(queer characters (but no romance in the first book, TW for graphic depictions of violence, ableism, mention of abuse, mention of sexual slavery and assault, imprisonment)
10. The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee (Historical Fiction Romance, Travel/Journey, Best Friends to lovers, MLM characters. TW for abuse, homophobia, racism, suicidal ideation, alcoholism, depiction of epileptic seizures, gun violence, and discussion of insane asylums)
11. In Deeper Waters by FT Lukens-
(Royalty, kidnapping, MLM characters not being released until April but it looks great)
12. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz-

14. We Contain Multitudes by Sarah Henstra-

15. Love and Other Curses by Michael Thomas Ford-

16. More Happy than Not by Adam Silvera-
(MLM main character, YA, “it's about a boy who is considering a memory-alteration procedure to forget he's gay because leading a life as a straight teen would probably be way easier for him. It's about science versus nature, friendship, sexuality, and a quest for happiness.” About the happy ending and how even bad moments lead to good. Hopeful but despairing. TW for medical procedure to erase sexuality, internalized homophobia, homophobia from others, depression)
17. I Wish You All the Best by Mason Deaver-
(Nonbinary main character, nonbinary muslim side character, romance/love and building a family out of people you care about. About finding your voice. TW for coming out and misgendering, family rejection/struggle)
