IMPORTANT NOTE: If you already have another version of Adobe's Photoshop CC/2024 installed, it will require you to uninstall that first. Just like in the old days with my previous versions, simply follow the instructions and all should immediately work as intended. And don't worry, I pinky-promise you that this works and won't give you any problems, no matter whether you're a techie or a bit clueless as to how to navigate computers. And in case you're struggling, I'm here at your beck and call until it's working! IMPORTANT NOTE #2: In case you get a popup that says Photoshop needs to be licensed, or it will uninstall itself otherwise, please have a look at this fix!

Step 1: Please navigate here, and download Photoshop (alternative link here). Step 2: When done downloading, unzip it (Windows can do it for you, but otherwise, I personally use a program called 7ZIP) anywhere on your PC, even your desktop works fine, as you can delete it when the installation is done if you'd like. Step 3: When done, have a look inside the folder you just unzipped, and you'll see a file called 'Set-up (just click this and install!)', you simply need to run it, and install it as per your preferences (if you aren't too tech-savvy, don't worry, you can leave the default installation options as they are and all will be fine), and it is already pre-cracked, so there's no extra work from your end that needs to be done, we're just left with the last little step... Step 4: Everything is done! You can now start it up and use it as you want!

If in the unlikely event that you do run into any sort of issue of any kind, my DMs and askbox are always here for you, so don't be shy, I promise I'll welcome you with chocolate and fruit.

La représentation trans qu’on ne veut plus voir en 2025 

Sortir des recoins obscurs de tumblr pour faire un coup de gueule/d’éducation? 

Oui. 

On l’a compris, être trans est à la mode, c���est être in et tout le monde veut un bout de la dysmorphie qui vient avec. Lavern Cox avec ses 7M de followers, Dylan Mulvaney ses 9,1M, Elliot Page et ses 5,3M… Plus de visibilité dans la culture populaire met les personnes trans en avant et deviennent sujets d’inspiration/d’adaptation. 

Yeay. 

Par contre, les cocos, on est en 2025 et il serait temps de mettre les pendules à l’heure. On ne veut plus des représentations baclées et queerphobes de Max Sweeney (L world), ni du.de la vilain.ne transgenre comme Buffalo Bill (The Silence of the Lambs). Nous avons assez du discours transphobe américain constant pour se le manger en plus dans notre espace de détente. 

Mais avant de se détendre, il faut s’éduquer un peu (oui, oui). 

DO 

Se poser la question de pourquoi vous voulez jouer un personnage trans. La fétichisation est un fait qui existe et si vous êtes là pour le trauma porn, passez votre chemin ou regardez des reportages. 

Prendre des FC de personnalités transgenres. Si vous voulez donner de la visibilité à la communauté trans, faites le correctement. L’invisibilisation est aussi de la phobie et vous desservez la cause (ouais, je l’ai dit). Nous ne sommes plus à l’époque de “une mauvaise représentation est mieux que pas de représentation”, parce qu’on est plus en 2000 et que vous avez l’occasion de faire de bonnes/meilleures représentations. Ça demande juste un peu plus d’effort. 

Reconnaissez le. Dites noir sur blanc que votre personnage est transgenre. Ca peut très bien être factuel. On ne vous demande pas de faire un CO à chaque rp, mais il n’y a pas de raison de le cacher ou de le sous-entendre derrière trop de métaphores. 

Utiliser les bons pronoms. 

Faites en sorte que ça ne soit qu’un élément comme un autre. La vie des personnes transgenres ne tourne pas qu’autour de ça. 

Écoutez. Si un membre vient vous parler d’un problème de représentation, écoutez les. On est pas là pour argumenter, mais pour sensibiliser. Vous ne savez pas à qui vous vous adressez, la personne derrière l’écran pourrait être transgenre, avoir une personne transgenre dans son entourage… 

DON’T 

Dire que lae joueur.euse fait partie de la commu et que c’est OK. La communauté queer est reconnue pour est discriminante entre elle. Le communauté a plusieurs lettres, pour une raison bien précise, et les TERFS sont malheureusement connu.es, même chez les lesbiennes.

Megenrer + Utiliser le deadname. Même si vous écrivez une version avant la transition/nouveau prénom. C’est une histoire racontée, on a pas besoin de savoir comme Bidule s’appelait “avant”. Ca crée des antécédents dans la mémoire et vraiment, en quoi est-ce nécessaire? 

Discuter des étapes de la transition de votre personnage. On a pas besoin de savoir quelles sont les opérations (ou non) qu’a subi votre personnage, s’iel est sous traitement hormonal, ou non. Réduction pilaire ou non. Si les cicatrices sur son torse sont healed ou pas. Qu’importe l’état de transition de votre personnage, ça n’enlève en rien sa transidentité. Certaines personnes transgenre ne veulent même pas transitionner médicalement. Et c’est tout autant OK. 

Arrêter la transition. Le taux de regret de la transition chez les personnes transgenre est extrêmement bas. 

Donner comme “raison” à sa transidentité les inégalités hommes/femmes. Les personnes transgenres sont sujets à des glissements sociaux de par leur transition et comment elles sont perçues dans la vie de tous les jours. Mais dire qu’être une femme c’est trop de la merde et mon perso va transitionner crée l’idée que toutes les femmes devraient transitionner… non? 

Donner des excès de colère à votre perso trans masc. C’est tiré du stéréotype de la testostérone et c’est faux.  

Triste vie. Associer tous les malheurs de votre personnage à sa transidentité. 

RENSEIGNEZ VOUS 

Il y a masse de ressources aussi bien français qu’anglaise sur la question, généralement produites par les personnes concernées. Lisez les, faites vous beta-read par des personnes plus à la pointe sur la question.

When writing toxic family dynamics

Toxic family stuff isn’t always screaming matches or broken plates. Sometimes it’s quiet control. The expectation to shrink, the pressure to be perfect, the guilt that rides shotgun. It’s complicated. And it’s deeply, deeply personal.

✧ Make the love real, but conditional.  One of the most damaging things about toxic family is the illusion of love. It’s not “I love you no matter what.” It’s “I love you when you obey.” Let your character notice that.

✧ Control shows up in micro ways... Who’s allowed to speak. Who’s allowed to feel. Who apologizes first, even when they’re not wrong. Control doesn’t need to be loud. Sometimes it’s a raised eyebrow or a guilt trip.

✧  Let them question reality. Toxic families are great at gaslighting. Your character might constantly wonder, Was it really that bad? Am I being dramatic? Let them doubt their own memories. That internal confusion is real.

✧ The guilt will be crushing. Leaving a toxic family doesn’t feel empowering at first. It feels selfish. It feels wrong. It feels like betrayal, even when it's survival. Show your character grieving the fantasy of the family they wish they had.

✧ Let them try to earn love. Your character might work their ass off trying to “be good,” hoping maybe this time they’ll be enough. Toxic families move the goalposts. Let that break them a little.

✧ Show emotional whiplash... One moment everything is warm and nostalgic. The next, it’s tense and full of landmines. That unpredictability is the dynamic. Use it.

✧ Don’t make the villain cartoonish. Even the abuser might think they’re doing what’s best. They might bake cookies and say “I’m just worried about you.” That’s what makes it so damaging. Write them like people, flawed, manipulative, real.

✧ Let your character unlearn in layers. Even after they leave, they still flinch. Still fold under pressure. Still crave approval. Recovery isn’t clean. But it’s worth it. And when they finally say no, even just once, let it be electric.

» They said they’d never become their parent and now they’re staring in the mirror, wondering if they already have.

» They catch their friend doing something terrible, but they owe them everything.

» They can’t tell if they’re protecting someone, or controlling them.

» They get what they want, but someone else suffers for it.

» They promised to keep a secret, but now someone innocent is getting hurt.

» They fall in love and realize it compromises everything they believe in.

Story Starters #3

Found Family Starters (for the ones who thought they’d always be alone—until someone stayed)

✧ They said "I got you" like it was no big deal. But no one’s ever said that to me and meant it. ✧ I didn’t know I could belong somewhere until I walked into that kitchen and someone had already set a plate for me. ✧ We fight. We yell. We steal each other’s snacks. And still, they show up every time I need them. That’s love, I think. ✧ I used to flinch when someone raised their voice. Now I roll my eyes and throw a pillow at them. That’s growth. That’s home. ✧ They know what my silence means. They don’t push. They just sit beside me until I’m ready. ✧ I told them the worst parts of me. They stayed. That’s when I knew. ✧ We don’t say “I love you” out loud. We say “text me when you get home.” “Eat something.” “You can crash here.” ✧ I’m still learning how to trust it. How to not brace for abandonment. But they haven’t left. Not once. ✧ I never believed in unconditional love. But now there’s this couch, and this blanket, and this messy group of weirdos who make space for me. ✧ They’re not blood. But they’re mine.

Cold Girls, Soft Hearts Starters (for the sharp-edged girls who love quietly, fiercely, and would rather die than admit it)

✧ I don’t do soft. But they smiled at me like I was worth something, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. ✧ I pretend I don’t care. But I remember their coffee order, their favorite color, the way they hate pickles. ✧ I rolled my eyes at their dumb joke. Then laughed. Then hated how much I meant it. ✧ I pushed them away and they still came back. I hate that. I love that. I don’t know. ✧ I said “I don’t need anyone.” But my voice cracked on the last word and I know they heard it. ✧ I tell them to shut up. I mean “don’t go.” ✧ I’m the tough one. The reliable one. The emotionally constipated one. And I’m so, so tired. ✧ They hugged me and I stood there like a statue. But inside, something broke open. ✧ I made fun of them for being sappy. Then went home and replayed everything they said. Twice. ✧ I’m not scared of being hurt. I’m scared of wanting something I can’t protect myself from.

End-of-the-World Vibes (for stories where something big is ending, and something small, and tender, is beginning)

✧ The world is ending and all I want is to feel their hand in mine one more time. ✧ Everything’s falling apart and they’re still making me laugh. How dare they. How beautiful. ✧ If this is the last sunrise, I want to spend it with them. Quiet. Close. Real. ✧ I thought I’d be afraid. But with them here, I’m just… present. And maybe that’s enough. ✧ They looked at me like I was still worth saving. Even now. Especially now. ✧ We kissed like we were running out of time. Because we were. ✧ I wanted a big moment, but instead it was this—my head on their shoulder, the silence stretching soft around us. ✧ We said goodbye like we’d see each other tomorrow. We both knew that wasn’t true. ✧ Maybe the world doesn’t need a hero. Maybe it just needs someone who won’t leave when things get ugly. ✧ I don’t know what comes after this. But if they’re next to me when the lights go out, I think I’ll be okay.

Hors création et RPG et totalement perso, est-ce que quelqu'un dans la commu a déjà effectué un DAEU et serait ok pour répondre aux questions d'une anxieuse qui ne connaît r à la vie universitaire, qui envisage d'entamer des études post-bac sans bac et qui panique à l'idée de le faire (mais si j'veux un jour retrouver du boulot je pense que j'ai plus le choix mdrrr parce que j'vais bientôt plus toucher le chômage donc mdrrrr) ?
