Been slowly working on Clive through studies, and the test is finally over! May or may not pick up the pace since I have a massive backlog of chores and home projects and video games now, though lol.

It's been nice to see some more forms take shape, and mostly finish his face!

I bought myself a stand for Christmas! So phoenix is hiding, but I'm starting to work my way over to the other side of the top half background. Some overflow of colors filling in little open spots.

The silver metallic in Clive's armor/sword was also A+ idea.

Lots of progress on the Final Fantasy 16 cross stitch since last time! If finishing Ifrit’s chest didn’t make me finally learn to grid properly, then I’m a lost cause haha 😆

Update 4.2, just some finer details and tail added, but recorded, because from here I'll probably slow down on progress through March as I start studying (again) for specialty certification in my field.

It still doesn't show, but more metallic was added into some of the steel parts of Clive's armor and sword, silver mixed with the grays. Also a good call. The silver will also end up in Phoenix's tailfeathers along with the gold.

Now that holiday cross stitch gifts are done, I can come back to the FFXVI project! I filled in the area between Phoenix and Clive, and I made progress starting Ifrit! 😄

Only shadows and highlights left for Phoenix's wings! I have no idea how I'm going to hold this once this corner's done. Any tips for scrolls? I haven't actually found any big enough in the stores, though.
