so i decided to submit something for the Global Graffiti Smash fanart contest-

i think it turned out well!

(though i just generally like anything shiny shiny and stuff < w <; )

why does everything i play become cursed...?

(btw this happened while i was in a vc with my friends)

; w ; paper is very rough and i didn’t do so well

also sorry i didn’t get his skin color right. i only noticed how light the colors were after i went over the drawing again with a non-waterproof fineliner and took a step back. paper is also too roughed up to evenly apply alcohol marker or colored pencil over it (i tried it but it went badly. luckily i took a pic before i tried) i need more practice… and use better paper even if it is only for practice…

at least he sparkly though (｡*ω*｡)

wanted to do a *simple* drawing of Kaeya on a small piece of watercolor paper and use it as practice for watercolor

brain said “noo keep adding details”

wanted to avoid drawing his clothes so i wouldn’t have to color in the details later. drew him shirtless at first

brain said “nOoO tOo SaUcY” so he just has a simple shirt now

erased the sketch too hard while prepping for lineart

random patches on the paper said “GIMMIE YO INK OOOOOO INKPLOSION YEEEEEEEE”

doesn’t help i don’t have any waterproof pens that are small enough for the details

brain argued “KEEP SMOOTHING IT OUT WITH MORE INK DON’T LET THE PAPER PATCHES WIN”

so now i’m left with another piece that looked better as a sketch

ah well, looks better than leaving inksplosion lines as is :v

a pen drawing that was meant to be a drawing where i can experiment with watercolors but now i’m too scared to ruin it with random colors (especially since i don’t remember which fineliners i used. i recently tested all my fineliners and they all have varying water resistance)
