Rode a little this afternoon at @deervalleyresort. The new flow trail, Undertow, was super fun! Will be back Tuesday for sure and on a full DH bike! I also got to do a couple runs with @_kstate! Tsunami was sick as always and the @canyon Spectral on loan from @baldrich22 felt awesome and flew nicely! The whole family is getting on bikes tomorrow morning at @parkcitymountainresort! That's a wrap!! A huge thank you to the amazing crew that made this shoot happen and pulling together when the days got tough and ridiculously long! This shot was from the first few hours of even being together on set in Chinatown. I havent had time since then to get through anything else. With 70+ hrs of shooting in 5 days and 6000+ later, I am beat! Maybe sometime I'll post more about this gig! It deserves it! A decently entertaining look at Flying Monkey in Virgin, UT thru the eyes of an amateur at best downhill rider, myself... In my defense I was on a bike I just rented an hour ago, not used to it at all, was by myself, so I had no one to follow to see the lines or speed. However, I got it done, only walked a few times and I go over the bars around the 6:30 mark! So be sure to watch until then. Excuse all the swear words. Trust me, GoPro makes it look 10x less steep! Shortened about 40mins of footage to 12mins and 30secs. The camera is pointed to far down, but you see the trail decently well. It's a lot of swear words because I got myself into a little bit more than I bargained for, but I plan to keep pushing and go back to hit it with better speed and lines next time!
