today's walk took an unexpected turn when we had to rescue 45 (!!!) snapping turtle hatchlings from the road by the park. while not many of a clutch are meant to survive, the nissan rogue is not a natural predator so today they got a little help. ❤️

New Beginnings
I started this piece last year, after just finishing Outer Wilds and intending to post it on New Year.
Something, something, a lot of life stuff happened, and it ended up sitting and collecting dust in my WIPs for a really long time. Better late than never, I guess, though. What's funny is that it was almost done the entire time, I just couldn't force myself to finish a very small part of it and add the finishing touches.

the becca bytes playthrough is wild. beelines it to feldspar day one without encountering a single anglerfish, then doesn't go back to dark bramble for days. manages to disable ATP before getting to the core of giant's deep or the vessel. talks to gabbro like loop two and again a few loops later, but does not learn to meditate until she's almost beaten the game. just wild. entertaining tho
